Walking (Hideaki, Felix and Aodh)

Felix forced a smile as Aodh mentioned him not being alone in all of this, he was at least grateful for that.

"ARGH!"

His legs buckled from beneath him as an audible crack broke the silence, his ribs had snapped, his body convulsed as the bones realigned themselves, widening his chest.

His arms clutched around his chest as he shook violently.

His jaw clenched together tightly as he tried to bite back a cry in pain, his eyes shut as waves of pain rippled through him, it would only get worse from here.

And here it came.

Aodh crouched next to the boy and rested a hand on his shoulder.

"It hurts but dont fight it. Fighting it makes it hurt worse. Let what needs to happen happen, okay?"

He gripped his shoulder gently.

"Felix, look at me." He waited for a moment. "I know it hurts, but don't back down. The moment you think you want to die, I will kill you. I wont let pathetic, weak children hang around."

The words were harsh but he was hoping they'd jar the boy into the right mindset to take on the change.

His head lifted up at those words, snarling softly at Aodh, lip curling back over his fangs. He ran over to the man on the ground, lying over his lap protectively, growling up at Aodh.

Aodh had better not touch Felix.

He seemed to be angry at Aodh, but actually he was more angry at himself for putting Felix in danger like this.

Felix's eyes snapped up at Aodh obediently as he glared at the man, he felt his anger rising, he was not an angry person at all but he felt this uncontrolable rage boiling up in him.

An inhuman growl rumbled in his chest as he gave into what has happening, no longer trying to hold in his cries in pain or trying to hold his body together. He would get through this, there was no way he was going to let the red head kill him for being weak.

He yelped loudly and fell on his back as his organs shifted in his torso, his lungs were getting bigger and his heart moved its place.
He let out a loud whine as his vocal cords changed, his throat thickening as his jaw extended.
His hands clutched his throat firmly.

"Back off, I've dealt with this more than you have," he told the other Lycan when he sprawled across the man's lap.

He grinned when Felix glared at him. Good, he was giving in to the anger.

"Good, dont try and push the pain away. Just accept it. Get used to it. it's not going to go away."

He gripped the man's wrist, giving it a tug. "Dont wanna be clutching tour throat when your claws come in, pup."

He crawled off him with a whine, not because Aodh told him to, but because he knew that putting pressure on Felix when he was transforming wouldn't exactly help. He didn't want him to be in any more pain than he already was.

Crouching beside him, he rested his head on his paws, watching silently.

Had it really been like this when he transformed? It was horrible to think about, but he couldn't remember any of it. He hoped it would be the same for Felix.

He thrashed against the man as he pulled his hands away from his throat, it was painful and he had that human reaction to clutch any part of his body that hurt.

A snarl escaped his lips as the man grinned at him, the hatred he felt rolled off of him so thickly that it could almost be malleable.

His lips curled back over his teeth, his mouth was lined with a thin layer of blood, the fanged teeth that were pushing through had sliced open his gums.

His head lulled back with a loud whine as he writhed on the floor, his vision started to blur as the aching of his head began to set in.

His eyes fell back onto Hideaki laying a short distance away, his bright blue irises dulling down as they saddened.

"Don't care what you want, kid, follow my orders."

He wasn't doing this for his own health; this was to make sure the man didn't injure himself. Last thing he needed was for the boy to injure himself and make things worse for himself.

He may have had a strange way of showing it, but he was looking out for the kid.

"Oooh, those are gonna be able to do some damage," he chuckled when the man's teeth came into view.

"Only got about two hours of this left, pups."

He whimpered quietly, tongue lapping at Felix's fingers to try and reassure him. That looked nasty. It was strange and horrible to watch it happening to someone else and it was such a contrast to the easiness of transforming that he had now.

Felix's thrashing calmed down, the pain wasn't going to stop if he held his throat or not.

His breath came in struggled breaths, he could not stay laying on his back, his chest was putting too much pressure on his lungs.

He struggled against the man restraining him and got onto all fours, the blood from his mouth dribbling onto the floor as he heaved for air.

He cried out a the vertebrae in his spine juttered out as his back realigned, his shirt tearing open as his torso extended more.

His eyes turned to Hideaki and he rested a hand on the wolf's head, stroking it softly. "He's doing okay, pup. He's got through a good portion of the more painful stuff."

Aodh pulled away from the boy, watching him silently as his chest heaved.

"Well, that's initiation over," he muttered dryly as the man's shirt was torn apart. "You're not a Lycan until you destroy at least one set of clothes."

Really? He asked dully.

If he hadn't been so worried, he might have chuckled at the joke. But now didn't really seem the time to be joking.

Unable to keep watching, he got up, pacing up and down the clearing.

His hands dug into the soil as his claws set in, the nails of his hands becoming pointed as the bones in his hands cracked, becoming longer.

His body slowly took shape, each bone cracking and warping as he changed shape.

He pressed his head to the ground as he cried out again, the pressure was building as his skull changed, his nose elongating as it took the shape of a dogs muzzle.

He tried to do as Aodh instructed, struggling to refrain from bringing his hands to his head.

"Aye. Look at him. He's slowly taking shape. After he takes shape all that needs to happen is for his fur to form. That's almost entirely painless."

One of the few painless parts of a transformation was the growing of fur.

His silver eyes flickered over the man's form before settling at the base of his spine. "Gonna be a bitch when his tail comes in, though."

Hideaki stopped pacing for a moment to watch him, trying to resist the urge to go over. Oh yes, the tail. He winced to himself. That would not be pleasant.

How much longer?

It felt like they had been there for too long. It was horrible just watching this, he dreaded to contemplate what it must be like to go through it.

Felix fell onto his side with a thud, his body was almost completely that of a wolf.

He whined and writhed on the floor, every part of his body ached, his eyes still blurred out due to the thudding headache he had.

After a few moments of whining he let out a deafening roar as his spine gave a very loud snap, his tail slowly extending out of his lower back.
His yells died down as the tail reached his full length, he lay on the ground panting heavily, his eyes closed tightly, letting out a constant whine as his skin slowly sprouted tuffs of white fur.

"...Easily an hour," he murmured softly.

The first half of the time was shifting to your new body. The second half was getting used to said body.

The second part of the process wasn't as brutal, but it definitely wasn't painless.

But the kid had made it this far, he would be able to deal with the rest.

"Happy thoughts, kid. You're sat out in an open field, on a nice warm day, sky is blue, clouds are wispy. You have muse playing from your iPod and you're drawing what you see."

He placed a hand gently on the wolf's neck, stroking softly.

He let out an empathetic whimper as he heard Felix's spine snap, crouching low on the floor. A whole hour? But he almost had the body of a wolf now. He lay down, eyes sliding shut as he tried to block out the painful yelps and howls.

He felt useless, not being able to do anything.

Felix whined, his body shifting slightly under the man's touch, he was too exhausted to feel anything.

His earlier rage had dulled down, it was still present but he was too tired for emotions at the moment.

His eyes slid opened and gazed up at the man just as the blue of his eyes faded, changing into the silver that defined them.

He sighed as he watched the bright blue fade.

"You were fond of your blue eyes, were you, kid?"

Losing his eye colour had been one of the biggest thing that hit Aodh when he became a wolf. He had loved his eyes. It may have seemed small, but his were something he got from his parents and one of the few things he had that had connected him to them.

"Welcome to the pack, Felix."

Hideaki whimpered quietly, eyes sliding open. Felix seemed to be in less pain now. The wolf lifted his head and took a couple of hesitant steps towards him. He really hoped Felix didn't hate him. After all, he had taken the man's humanity away from him, no matter how unintentional it was.

F-Felix-san?

Felix only whined in response to Aodh's question, in truth he had been quite fond of his eyes, he had his mothers eyes, the woman had died when he was quite young, it was a pleasant reminder of her.

He lifted his head slowly, it still ached and pounded but he looked over at the wolf who he knew to be Hideaki.

You're talking into my mind?

He didn't know if he would be able to hear the thought, between the pounding, skill splitting headache and the fact that he had no idea what he was doing, he was more than a little confused.

"Sorry, kid." He sighed and pat the wolf's neck. "We're in the same boat. I loved having green eyes once upon a time."

Aodh clicked hind fingers then pointed. "We didn't tell him owt, did we? Yeah, we talk through a telepathic link. Only Wolves can do that, though, humans gotta talk. I can ear the telepathic thoughts, though."

His eyes turned to the sky. "Y'know, you chose a pretty shitty time to get yourself bitten, kid. Full Moons in a day or two." That wouldn't be fun for him.

"So, what do you know about Lycan? We can call bullshit on wrong information and patch your knowledge up a little more, aye?"

He padded up to Felix slowly, lapping at the other wolf's mouth with a whine. Silver eyes turned back to Aodh.

Can't we give him a little time to rest?

Felix had only just been turned and Aodh was already going on to him about the various details about Lycanthropy. He probably needed a little time to come to terms with it without being overloaded with information.

Felix lifted his muzzle letting the other wolf lap at it, replying with a soft whine of his own, his tongue stroked against the Hideaki's nose tentatively.

He placed his head back on his paws, slightly taken back by the fact that he had just licked someone.

He looked down at his paws, if was going to be interesting trying to learn to run on four legs.
Slowly he tried to lift himself onto his feet, whining at how much his muscles and joints hurt as he did so.

After a few moments the large white wolf was on his feet.

For one I thought you only changed on the full moon, other than that the only other thing I knew about werewolves is that silver is meant to kill them.

He looked back over at Hideaki.
I'm alright.
He replied, trying to sound sincere
