Meeting Moe and Zeke (Hideaki, Felix, Moe, Zeke)

Hideaki wandered along the path, glancing around anxiously. He had never been here before, and he was a little anxious that he wasn't going the right way. But he could smell Felix's scent around here somewhere, so he knew he was probably going to bump into him at some point.

He lifted his head, calling out.

"Felix?"

Felix was nearly at the cottage when he heard Hideaki call out from behind him, he stopped and jogged back up the path, a soft smile present on his face.

"Here, Hideaki."
He called back and he ran up to the man, taking hold of his hand and moving to walk beside him.

"I was wondering when you would make your way down here."
He added cheerily.

"Hello." he smiled warmly at him, hesitating for a moment before leaning up to kiss Felix on the cheek.

Hideaki was slowly starting to get over his nerves, but he was still unused to being... boyfriends with Felix. It seemed a little unreal, somehow. He squeezed the man's hand gently for reassurance, smiling shakily up at him.

He had never been good at meeting new people. Even if they were nice.

"Are we near?"

Felix smiled and leaned down to kiss Hideaki on the lips, running his free hand over the man's cheek.

He liked being able to touch the man without the fear of being scolded, though he knew that Hideaki still felt nervous around him so many things were probably out of bounds, not that he minded much.

"Yep, the cottage is just nestled in those trees."
He replied, pointing a little way in front of them.

He smiled happily into the kiss, tilting his head up to kiss him back tenderly, hand resting on the man's chest.

Even though he was nervous around Felix sometimes, he loved being close to him, even at the smallest moments like this. It made his heart pound. He hoped he didn't come across like he didn't want Felix to touch him, because he did, it was just that... it made him nervous.

He pulled away slowly, eyes shimmering happily.

"Shall we, then?"

He began to walk towards the cottage, fiddling anxiously with his sleeve. It was nice having Felix here to help him, but he was still nervous. He wondered what they were like, these other wolves. Whether or not they would like him.

He gave Hideaki's hand a soft squeeze.
"There is nothing to be worried about, we're just having dinner with them, you can relax."

He smiled and bumped the man softly with his hip, Moe had seemed really nice so there was no problem there.

Felix just hoped that her husband would be welcoming.

Hideaki nodded, smiling a little shakily. "Ok. Remind me again what they're like?"

A tongue darted over his lips nervously with a gulp. He continued to walk towards the cottage, glancing up at Felix as he tried to distract himself from his nerves. Perhaps he was even more nervous because there were so few of them. He couldn't just melt into the background like with a crowd.

He would probably come across boring.

"I haven't met the husband but Moe is a tiny thing, bright orange hair, very sweet.

I just know you two will get along."

He smiled reassuringly and brushed his thumb over the man's knuckles as they approached the cottage, knocking on the door softly.

Hideaki nodded silently, chewing on his thumb. He didn't do it quite as often anymore, since he was worried about it attracting vampires, as Aodh had warned him, but it did come out when he was especially nervous.

He waited for Moe to open the door, squeezing Felix's hand for reassurance.

Moe looked up from checking on the large pot of Oden she had been cooking for dinner.

"Did you make plans with someone?" she called out to Zeke as she padded towards the front door, wiping her hands off on a towel. Family invited themselves in; she was certain that none of them knew what knocking was.

She looked much better than she had earlier in the day but her eyes were hooded slightly and she still didn't have the rosy shade in her cheeks as she usually did.

She set the towel down on the table next to the front door, her usual smile spreading across her lips as she opened the door and caught sight of the changeling.

"Felix-san! It's good to see you, come in, come in."

She ushered the two men into the house and guided them to the living room. "We have dinner guests, Koibito."

Felix smiled brightly as Moe opened the door, she looked a little pale though last time he had seen her she was hot from training.

"Good evening Moe, I do hope we're not interrupting."
He replied warmly as he squeezed Hideaki's hand gently and guided him inside.

"Moe this is Hideaki."
He added, motioning to the man standing beside him

Hideaki avoided the woman's eyes politely, bowing to her. "Konbanwa, Moe-san."

When he felt a little braver, he glanced up, observing her closely. She seemed... not as scary as he expected. Her husband could be different, but...

"It's nice to meet you."

Even though he didn't know the woman, it was slightly odd to meet another Japanese person here. He had been away from Japan for quite a long time now and hadn't met any others so far. He had adjusted to being with westerners. But it was nice to see someone of his own heritage, in a strange kind of way.

"No, not at all, it's good to see you."

The woman bowed at Hideaki as he was introduced. "Sore wa anata ni aete yorokobidesu, Hideaki-san. Watashi wa Leon Moe."

She blushed a little as she bit her lip. Her dialect was painfully obvious and she could tell just from the man's accent while speaking that one word he had a Tokyo dialect.

"I'm sorry for my dialect, I loved in Kobe." She felt she had to apologise. She sounded so... dumb compared to Hideaki.

"Hideaki and myself are quite new here and we were hoping to use tonight as a chance to get to know some of our fellow pack members a bit better."

His thumb brushed over Hideaki's knuckles softly, reminding the man that he was by his side and there was no reason to be nervous.

"This is a lovely home that you have."
He added, glancing around the living room.

"Kekkoudesu."

His face broke into a smile. It wasn't that he was making fun of her or anything, it was just that he hadn't expected her to have an accent like that. It made him feel a lot more relaxed. If she had had a Tokyo accent like himself, he probably would have been terrified, but now it seemed a lot less formal.

Probably a stupid assumption to make just from an accent, but still.

"Anata no akusento o hajiru riyū wa arimasen."


(Translation: "It's fine."

"There's no need to be ashamed of your accent.")

"The house isn't as full as it usually is, I'm afraid. uncle Aodh and Grandaddy are usually around in the evenings."

Moe smiled softly at the man.

"Anata wa totemo shinsetsuda, Hideaki-san." Much different than the Clan. They had been ashamed of her picking up a Kansai accent instead of a Tokyo accent.

"Zeke, come here and entertain our guests," she called out to her husband.

"Thank you." She smiled brightly at Felix when he complimented her home.

"You came just at the right time, I'm nearly finished cooking. You don't mind Oden, do you?" She thought it'd remind Hideaki of home; it was a good coincidence.

Zeke had been in the nursery putting together a cupboard when Moe called, he pulled himself off the floor with a soft grunt as he padded towards the living room.

"If it's Aodh again tell him he can go-"
He stopped his sentence short when his gaze fell on two unknown male lycan.

"Oh, hello."
He murmured, raising an eyebrow at the two.
Zeke stepped forward, his jet black hair hanging messily around his face.

He brushed it out of his eyes and extended his tattooed arm towards the men.

"Evening, I'm Zeke."

"I've never had Oden before, sounds interesting."
Felix chuckled softly, he didn't know much about Japanese culture of food but was always open to new experiences.

He gave Hideaki's hand a little squeeze as the other man appeared from the door way, he was taller and much more muscular than either of them.

Perhaps Hideaki was right to be nervous about coming here, the man's hair and tattoos hardly gave off the same gentle nature that Moe did.

"Nice to meet you Zeke, I'm Felix."
He replied, shaking the man's hand, trying not to look nervous.

"That's fine. And yes, I love oden."

To be honest, it made him quite relieved that the rest of Moe's family wouldn't be there. He wouldn't have been able to deal with a lot of new people very easily, and he didn't take well to Aodh. He was a bit... intimidating.

Hideaki blinked a little as Zeke stepped into the room. This man was... enormous... He tried to shuffle discretely towards Felix, a little daunted, squeezing Felix's hand for reassurance.

"Hello, my name's Ed- Hideaki Eda."

He bowed quickly.

Moe sent Zeke a glare as he walked in with a rude comment towards her uncle.

She stalked forwards, swatting at his arm in reprimand. "Be nice to Uncle Aodh," she scolded softly before smiling and pushing herself onto the tips of her toes to kiss him gently.

"Behave and don't scare them," she murmured softly in his ear. "They're new here and don't know many people. Be nice."

The Hybrid dropped back onto her feet and smiled at their guests. "Sit down, make yourself comfortable, dinner won't be long."

He gazed down at his wife, giving her an expressed of shocked innocence.

"Moe you wound me, would I ever do something so mean?"
He asked as his expression broke into a smirk as he kissed her back.

Zeke slumped into his usual chair and smiled up at the men.
"Yeah, take a seat guys."

His eyes fell on the smaller man, normally he would of picked on him automatically but Moe had asked him to be nice and he looked about ready to shit himself.

"Don't worry man, looks can be deceiving, my barks worse than my bite."
He smiled warmly at the pair, that wasn't entirely true, Zeke's bite rivaled his bark but he was not a violent man as long as Moe was around.

Felix stroked Hideaki's back softly, he could tell that he was intimidated by the other male.

Zeke was an intimidating man, it made him wonder how the heck Moe ended up with him.

"Thank you."
He muttered, taking a seat on the cough, guiding Hideaki along with him.

Hideaki smiled gratefully at Felix, feeling a little more relaxed as he rubbed his back. He sat down next to him on the couch, shuffling a little closer to him.

Somehow he doubted Zeke's bark was worse than his bite. Generally, lycans had bad tempers, so chances were, his bite was fairly substantial. That didn't exactly help his nerves, looking at the size of the man.

"Thank you." he echoed, then chewed his thumb nervously, trying not to break the skin this time.

Moe arched a brow at her husband.

"I'm not gracing that question with an answer."

She smiled brightly at the three men before disappearing into the kitchen to finish off cooking and dole out the servings.

It only took about ten minutes to set everything out on the table before she poked her head around the living room doorway again.

"Foods out, boys."

The table was set out for four, three places sporting large bowls full of the stew while the fourth had a smaller bowl.

She had finally decided to only serve what she could eat. If she managed to clear her plate, perhaps she could convince Taylor and Zeke she was eating more...

Zeke pushed himself onto his feet and motioned towards the kitchen.
"Lets eat."
He said to the two of them before walking into the kitchen.

"Smells great, love." He said with a smile as he went to the fridge to collect drinks for everyone, setting them out on the table

Zeke saw the size of Moe's bowl and shook his head softly, she really did have to start eating more.

He planted a soft kiss on her head before taking his seat.
