"Tuzik good, will share with friend."

He replied with a little nod.

If it was Alyosha's friend then he would happily share the room with them.

He just hoped that they didn't touch his books, they were his prized possessions.

Tuz wouldn't have to worry about Maks taking an interest in his books.

Ever since Lyo had moved in with him, Maks had nothing but bad things to say about books. Lyo had a lot and it had always been a struggle to find places for them all.

"Thank you for sharing, Tuz."

"Is okay, maybe, Coilean sleep over?"

He didn't mean now, but if Lyo was having friends stay with them would it be alright if Coilean could stay with them some nights so that they could see each other?

He hoped so, he had enjoyed his two days with the pup.

Happily the hound continued to shovel food into his mouth, purring at the crunch of onion rings.

"Maybe in a while."

Lyo arched a brown with a little smirk. "As long as two of you aren't loud." He could only assume how loud the two had been, after seeing Silt's tired appearance.

"I will call Silt some time."

Tuzik blushed a little at the mention of them being loud.

After letting a lot of that pent up arousal from mating season, he felt much better.

"No loud."

He replied with a little nod, he could manage to be a little more quiet.

"Coilean...Tuzik, no puppies?"

He added, his head tilting, he knew enough about mating to guess that even if they were having sex that Coilean wouldn't be able to bare any puppies.

"No puppies."

He wasn't too sure he could deal with puppies on top of Tuzik. It would be... probably, a nightmare.

He could only guess the amount of trouble Hell Hound puppy could get into.

Tuzik wasn't too upset by that news, he had already figured that out when he decided that he liked Coilean in a special way.

Still, it was a shame.

"Finished."

He announced as he chewed through the rest of his meal, licking the plate clean.

"There was pattern on that plate," Lyo teased as Tuzik sat back contentedly.

He continued to eat at a much more languid pace.

He wasn't in any rush to finish. His steak was rare, but not quite rare enough to get up and run away.

Tuzik had always been a quick eater, he probably would always be a quick eater, and he didn't mind that.

"Ice cream?"

He asked, if the steak was gone, he got to eat ice cream right?

He hoped so.

"Da, go get ice cream."

Lyo pushed an onion ring through mushroom sauce then chewed on it slowly.

"Two spoon." If Tuzik was getting ice cream then he was going to eat some, too. There was nothing better than ice cream after a good dinner.

Tuzik rushed to the freezer and pulled out the tub of ice-cream, carefully carrying it to the table before getting two large spoons.

He loved anything sweet and ice-cream was one of the best things ever.

He scrambled back onto his chair and popped open the ice-cream with a purr.

"Not too much."

He didn't want the Hound rolling around with a stomach ache because he ate too much ice cream.

Lyo set down his knife and fork and nudged his plate aside.

His eyes scanned the walls before he picked up his spoon.

Maks had been gone for hours now. He was getting a little worried.

Just as Alyosha said that Tuzik was shoving a large scoop of ice-cream into his mouth.

He gave a grin around the large mouthful, his cheeks puffed out like a chipmunk.

After a few more minutes Maks did eventually join the pair, lazily floating into the room.

Lyo shook his head and scooped up a much more manageable chunk of ice cream.

What was he going to do with the Hound?

Lyo perked up when Maks floated in.

"News?"

Ghosts didn't really get tired in the traditional sense of the word, but zipping around town constantly all day wore him down a little.

"Don't get your hopes up because I'm not 100% on this alright?"

He began, he had been trying hard not to get too excited.

"But they just got a new guy in the morgue, hung himself early this morning, they haven't cut him open or anything but he is in there big freezer thingies, dark in there so I can't see if he is in working order."

Lyo nodded slowly, dragging his spoon through the ice cream.

"We can see. The worst case scenario is that we have to look again," Lyo pointed out.

It would be tough looking again if they got their hopes up, but they couldn't afford to let themselves shut down if they didn't come out good the first time.

Maks was hopeful but keeping his cool, if this body was no good then he would just keep visiting the morgue and seeing who they were bringing in.

"We'll have to get in there and check it out though."

The only way to know if it was any good was for Lyo to check it over carefully.

"I doubt that'll be too difficult."

It wasn't like the morgue would be guarded with armed guards. He wasn't too worried about being able to get in.

"Do you want to try tonight?"

How quickly did Maks want this done?

"Probably a good idea, there was talk of cremation, not letting a working body get burned up because we decided to wait."

He would be pissed if they missed out on a good one.

Breaking into a morgue would be easy, after all, who the fuck wants to break into a morgue?

They don't prepare for that kind of thing.

Lyo nodded his head slowly.

"Let me go put the dog in our room, then."

The man dropped his spoon and stood, collecting together their used plates.

"Tuz, take spoon and ice cream."

He'd let the hound have his fill while he was out.

Tuzik tilted his head with a questioning whine but stuck his spoon in the pot of ice-cream and hopped down from his chair before collecting it, licking his lips with a purr.

"From what I saw everyone is clocking out so they should all be gone in the time it takes us to get down there."

Trust people who work 9-5 to be punctual about when they leave work.

"Will not be gone long."

Hip lips curled up. "Maybe when back, you will meet friend."

There was a chance that they could get Maks into the body tonight. He tried to fight the bubble of excitement in his chest. He didn't want to get his hopes up, but it was a real possibility.

He led the little group through the halls towards his room.

Tuzik gave a happily little yap.

"Tuzik stay in room?"

He asked, he would happily eat the rest of the ice-cream then have a nap, heavens knew he needed one after the last two days.

He padded along side the man and entered back into their room sitting down on the floor and opening up his ice-cream again.

"Movie?"

He asked, looking up at Lyo hopefully.

"Da, can put movie on. Pick one."

While Tuzik was picking his film, Lyo rooted through his wardrobe for some stuff that he shoved in a bag.

A spare set of clothes. He doubted the body would be wearing anything.

A thin scarf he could cover up with. He wouldnt risk being caught full frontal on a camera or something.

He tied his hair back with a tie on his bedside table, then carefully put the blood vials in a side pocket.

Tuzik rummaged through their movie collection before picking out what were typically his favourites, animations.

Tonight's choice was Beauty and the Beast, the hound always like listening along with the music in Disney movies.

He nudged it against Alyosha's leg, he wasn't delicate enough with the discs yet to be trusted with putting them in.

With that he pulled a pillow off the the bed and curled up on the floor with is ice-cream, happy as ever.
