Meeting the brothers

The Lycan's lips curled upwards as his Mate praised him.

He liked hearing Aeker was proud of him. It made him feel good.

"I'm not in the habit of going back on my promises. If I was, I doubt we'd be in this situation." If he hadn't promised to give Aeker that second kiss, he definitely wouldn't be here now. That was a major promise he had kept in his life.

He guided his Vampire to the Cottage, pushing open the door and walking in like he owned the place.

"The best Uncles in the world are here," he sang, strolling in. "And the not so great Uncle and Aunt. You can ignore those two."

He swooped in, ignoring Zeke and Moe to scoop up the pups - one in each arm - and nuzzled into their stomach. "My preciousssssss," he hissed, chuckling as both pups gripped tightly at his hair and giggled loudly.

Aeker held the door open for the other two before going over to greet the pups, sweeping Aodh's hair out of their grasp and pushing it back behind his ears so they couldn't tug on it.

"Moe will scold you again."

He warned as he greeted Moe with a hug and Zeke with a pat on the shoulder before sitting down on one of the couches, waiting for his turn with the twins.

In all honesty, Tahir didn’t want to be here. He couldn’t transition his mood so quickly like the other’s seemed to be able to do. He had tried to make it better and the red head responded with warnings and threats. Sure Aodh was an elder, but in his heart Tahir couldn’t believe he was a leader to be trusted. He didn’t want to bow down to someone like that. To make it all worse, this person was also dear to the only woman he truly loved.

He noticed how Aodh referred to him as an Uncle. So he did know the two were mates.

The big man’s heart beat with a sort of ache as he watched the scene. Everyone seemed to be happy now but he just felt… depressed. He was angry at Aodh, and felt stuck because of the elder lycan’s relationship with Alexis. He didn’t need this right now. It was all he had during this time to not break down because of his mentally ill sister.

Right now all he wanted to do was either go somewhere alone or be with Alexis so he could tell her what had happened all those months ago when he first met Aodh. But right now that wasn’t an option. So instead he took a deep breath and let it out slowly, trying to let go of his negative thoughts so he could at least pretend he was having a good time.

Before they entered the house she leaned up and pressed a gentle kiss on Tahir's cheek.

"It's alright, Aodh's calmed down he was just over reacting, he can be a bit of a drama queen sometimes...a lot of the time.

I know this is a lot to process and deal with but please try, everyone here means a lot me and I want everyone to get along."

She muttered, reaching up to stroke his face gently, he was having a bad day between being worried about Arzu, being worried about her and having to deal with family drama.

"Come on, we should at least meet the pups, then we can go."

She added, pulling him inside gently, greeting Moe and Zeke with a hug each.

"This is Tahir, my boyfriend."

She introduced before squealing softly at the sight of the two boys, they were adorable.

"Aodh let me have a hug!'
She replied, as she tried to take one of them off of him.

Aodh gave a soft hiss when Alexis advanced on him, telling him to let go of his precious babies.

"Never! Pups are my precioussss," he hissed, playfully nipping at Cinaed's tummy as he backed away from Lex.

He grunted as he tripped backwards and landed in Aeker's lap, hugging the pups closer with a wide grin.

"Quick, Aeker, save the precious from the evil forces of the Women of Rozen," he laughed, handing Cinaed off to his mate as he hugged the other pup.

Aeker chuckled softly as he watched the two of them, shaking his head as Cinaed was given to him as Aodh valiantly protected Luka.

"Oh play nice Aodh, she hasn't seen the pups yet, just let her have a hug."

He replied, handing Cinaed to his sister who promptly hugged him tightly up against her chest, smiling down at the little pup.

Aeker smiled and nestled up against Aodh's side.

Alexis kissing his cheek did a number to calm Tahir’s nerves. He looked down at her, his expression softening considerably from what it had been before.

He nodded his head when she asked him to try. He was trying, but he needed to try harder. For Alexis. She had done so much for his dysfunctional little family, he owed it to her.

“How exactly are you related to Zeke and Moe?” He asked quietly. Though he figured it was between Aodh and Moe, the blazing red hair a big give away.

When introduced to the two, he nodded his head politely.

“Hello again.” He said to Moe, and then he extended his hand to greet Zeke. “It’s nice to meet you.” He said, being as friendly as he could.

Watching Aodh and Alexis interact with the twin pups was a heartwarming sight to see. It was unusal for him to see a man who could be so cold so endeared to the little ones.

"Moe is Aodh's niece."
She explained, they were all related some way or another, through blood or Mateship, it didn't matter either way, family was family.

"Thank you Aeker, screw you Aodh~"

She sang her words, scooping up the little red headed baby, he definitely took after Moe's side of the family and Luka was the splitting image of Zeke.

"Oh he is so cute."

She muttered as she hugged him close, planting little kisses on his face as she walked over to Tahir, smiling up at him,

"Aeker," he whined loudly.

Always trust the twins to work together. Always.

He grumbled and elbowed the Vampire when he nuzzled against him but nuzzled against him in return a few moments later. Damn Vampire twins, always working together.

"Screw you too, Lex."

Moe smiled up at the much taller man. "And you, too, Tahir-san." A little blush stained her cheeks as she remember just how the two of them had met.

"Ow..."

He complained as Aodh elbowed him in the ribs, clutching his side softly as he glared at the Lycan, his features softening as the man nuzzled up against him.

"I couldn't help it, if I didn't give him to her she just wouldn't injured me until I gave him up.

Handing him over for a while seemed like a far less painful option."

Tahir gave up a smile as Alexis approached him with the small child. She was very motherly and it was honestly quiet charming to the Lycan.

"Yeah he is." He agreed with her, pointing his finger and nudging it against the baby's hand to see if he would instinctively grab hold as most babies do.

Tahir liked kids a lot, but he didn't feel comfortable with handling babies just yet. They were such delicate little creatures and he was so gruff. Not a good combination.

She smiled when Cinaed grabbed onto Tahir's finger with quite a firm little grip.

"Wont be long now and you'll be running around the woods causing all sorts of havoc on the full-moon with all the other Wolves."

She cooed, lifting him into the air and blowing a raspberry onto his pudgy little stomach.

Aodh snorted softly.

"Scared of your little sister," he accused, waving Luka's hands gently.

He grinned down at the baby until he started dribbling down his chin. Aodh passed him off to Aeker just as a string of drool dripped, landing on Aeker's pants.

"It's oozing," he informed the Vampire needlessly.

"Scared of you niece." He accused in return, raising an eyebrow at the Lycan.

Both the women were equally as terrifying when they were pissed off, as Aodh had said once, they were small but had a larger capacity for anger.

The Vampire whined as Luka drooled all over his jeans, picking the boy up and heading to the bathroom to clean both of them up.

Tahir too grinned when the little one took hold of his finger. He wiggled it around some, as if he was shaking the baby's hand before Alexis raised Cinaed to blow on his tummy.

"You like kids?" He asked her quietly, so only she could hear. He didn't know this trait about her, how well she would be with children.

She gave a little nod and hummed as she cradled Cinaed in her arms again.

"Whats not to like? granted they have their bad traits but at the end of the day those don't matter when you get to spend a few minutes with them like this."

Playing with a baby was fun and seeing their happy little grins was an absolute joy.

"Anyone'll be scared of that little she-devil."

His gaze turned to his nephew. "Oi, Zeke, how much does Moe scare the shit out of you?" he called across the room.

He knew that he;d answer with something along the lines of: 'a hell of a lot.'

Moe was terrifying.

The Lycan grinned and leaned back into the couch as he watched Aeker disappear with the dribbling pup.

Zeke called out from the kitchen where he was fixing himself a cup of coffee.

"A fuck tonne."

He replied, promptly followed by a loud 'ow, sorry sorry,' Moe had hit him for swearing in front of the kids now that they were becoming impressionable.

Aeker chuckled and shook his head as he looked back at Aodh.

"Fair point."

"I think so too." She said, agreeing with her. He felt nervous, having a discussion like this with her. He didn't want to give her any wrong impressions or to scare her. He had never spoken about children with someone he was romantically involved with before, and it left him feeling a little funny. Not a bad sort of funny, but the kind of funny where your heart doesn't feel like it's beating quiet right.

He was so focused in on Alexis and the little guy that he totally missed everything else that was going on around them, only catching things every now and then.

She help Cinaed in one arm and gripped Tahir's hand guiding him to sit down in one of the arm chairs.

Alexis perched herself in his lap, holding onto the pup so that the both of them could play with him.

Tahir looked so nervous around the baby, she wondered idly if he had ever had any of his own, she wouldn't he surprised if he had.

Aodh laughed when he hard the impact of the whack and the apology.

Zeke was totally whipped by his tiny demon of a wife. It was funny to see people so whipped by her.

Aodh leaned up to kiss the Vampire gently.

"Has it stopped oozing?" His gaze turned down to Luka.

He kissed the man back gently and sat back down, cuddling up to Luka.

If the pup stopped drooling then Aodh would want him back and he would ever get a proper cuddle with him.

"No...."

He lied, clutching onto the child firmly and moving away from Aodh slightly.

Tahir allowed himself to relax once they were both seated. He loved having Alexis perched on his lap, and without giving it any thought he gently slipped his hand around her waist, caressing it with this thumb.

"He's a fat little guy." He said with a grin as Alexis played with the pup.

She chuckled softly and cuddled up against him, leaning up against Tahir's torso.

"He is not fat, it is baby weight so that he can get bigger. Babies are meant to be pudgy."

She explained, bouncing the boy in her lap gently, kissing the top of his head as she nuzzled her face against his.

Aodh pouted.

"He's still drooling?"

Aodh leaned forwards towards the kitchen. "SPROUT! Luka's broken, he won't stop drooling." The Lycan pouted.

He heard a giggle come from the kitchen.

"He's absolutely fine, Uncle Aodh. It's normal."
