Perfect night for company. (Alexis and Zakhar)

"Surely you must see that vampire's have more restrictions."

What they ate, when they could go out, everything was dictated by their species, even down to the fact that she could not lay with someone without wanting to drain them.

Her features became more gentle as he pulled her closer, such a puppy.

A smile spread across her face as she continued to run her nails down his neck gently, her other hand tangling in the man's hair, smoothing the hair through her fingers.

"Da." Yes he saw them.

He wouldn't want to become a vampire but he was envious over their powers over the elements.

If he could keep his Lycanthropy and have powers over the elements, he'd take that option. He liked the taste of blood, but he couldn't live on the stuff. He liked feeling the warmth on his skin as he basked in the midday sun.

He liked the things that he'd have to give up to become a vampire too much to even consider it.

She chuckled softly.
"Everyone wants our powers but not the rest of the shit that comes with it."

Alexis muttered in response as she leaned her head down against his shoulder, her hands still continuing to pat him.

There was something amusing about being able to make such a frightening and deadly beast purr like a harmless kitten.

"Can you blame us?"

How many people would willingly opt for losing daylight and having a restricted diet? No one that enjoyed the luxuries that this day and age provided when it came to food.

"People are same with Volk." They wanted the awesome ability to transform into a huge wolf. They didn't want the anger the came with it. No one wanted that anger.

It was dangerous. It stops you from enjoying some things for fear of lashing out. It restricts your dating habits. Lycan were more often than not abusive; not many partners would stay around for an abusive partner.

"I suppose not, I was lucky enough to be able to spend one day out in the sun, I can see now why the transition for fledgelings is so difficult.
It's hard to have a taste of something like that knowing it could be your only time."

She sighed softly and lay against him, her arms wrapping around his neck.

The vampire harbored enough anger as it was, she could not imagine what she would be like as a lycan.

"Must have been good experience."

He couldn't imagine how amazing it would be to spend your entire life in the dark then experience going out into the light for the first time. It must have been an amazing thing to experience.

His hands slid up and down her back gently.

The two of them seemed very similar even if only for their want to be something else. Zakhar didn't like his species dictating his mood and Alexis didn't like her species dictating almost everything else about her.

She nodded softly, it really had been a once in a lifetime experience.

"I never knew the world could be so bright."

Her eyes shone fondly, everything had looked so different in the light, she remember how mesmerized she had been by all the colours. The night seem to dull everything down.

A soft smile spread across her lips as he stroked her back, since when did wolves become to gentle...

"The world is beautiful place bathed in light."

He loved the way the world looked during the day. It was something that he'd never give up, no matter what.

His fingers continued to stroke over her back as he nuzzled into her neck again.

"It really is, you're lucky, regardless of how much anger you have to put up with."

She replied as a gentle smile made its way over her lips, at the end of the day she didn't care what restrictions were placed on her existence.

She was lucky enough to be alive, all things considered, and she was starting to collect family and friends around her.

"Da."

He'd never deny that he was lucky to be able to go out into the sun and be free to do almost everything he wanted.

He nuzzled closer to her, a soft shiver running through him as a breeze blew by them.

"You're cold, we should go inside."
She was at least thankful that her body temperature stayed constant, she didn't get too cold or hot.

He hugged him tighter, knowing she was the only thing keeping him warm at the moment, but the fact that they were both dripping wet was not helping the matter.

"Yeah, I guess."

He was comfortable as he was.

He didn't really want to move. But the longer he stayed here, the colder he got and the less comfortable he became.

Dilemma.

Comfortable and cold or warm but not so comfortable?

She crawled off of his lap and offered him a hand up.
"Come on, I can't keep you warm enough.
Besides, I'd much rather be curled up all nice and dry in the library."

It was one of her favourite places after all, more so than sitting in the fountain, that much was for sure.

She smiled down at him softly, her clothes and hair completely dripping.

He took her hand when she offered it and pulled himself to his feet.

"Library sounds good." He liked the sound of sitting in front of a crackling fire with a good book and a nice hot mug of coffee.

He returned her soft smile with one of his own as he pushed his wet hair out of his face again.

"I thought so too."
She chuckled softly as she walked beside him back towards the mansion.

Alexis ran her hand through her wet hair, ringing out the length of it in order to try and dry it, a difficult task considering its absurd length.

"I don't think Gia will want me dripping through her house."
She explained as she tried to squeeze some water from the skirt of her dress.

"Gia?" A woman she knew, perhaps?

He didn't know this 'Gia' and he didn't suppose he cared if he met her or not.

He didn't bother trying to ring out his clothes or hair. He let them drip onto teh flagstones carelessly.

"Giacinto, the vampire Elder and the owner of this coven."
She explained briefly as she glanced up at him.

"I figure I've made a mess of her house enough as it is without punishment, I'd rather not press my luck."

She had spilled a lot of blood in the fields, the forest and her room.
If she didn't start being more careful she was going to get in trouble.

"Ah."

He had yet to meet any of the Elders in the coven. Though he had previous... encounters with Aleksandr and hoped the man stayed much the same as he had been before.

The Lycan stepped forwards, reaching for her hair to help her squeeze the water from it. How anyone could deal with such an abnormal length, he just didnt know. Sometimes he found the length of his hair too much to handle.

"Thank you."
She murmured as he helped to dry out her hair.
"It's such a pain but I just can't bring myself to cut it."

Her hair had been this length for a long as she could remember, even as a child her hair had always brushed against the back of her legs.
It was an easy way to tell a Rozen apart from the rest of the coven.

When she was dry enough not to drip around the mansion she continued towards the mansion.

"Is fine."

When the person had been pleasant to him - like Lex had been - he didn't mind helping when they needed it. Otherwise, he didn't give two shits about anyone that needed his help.

He followed her when she began through the halls.

"We will need to stop off at kitchen." He wanted that hot coffee and he'd go through Hell - or a tiny vampire a century and a half older than him - to get it.

"Yeah sure, I could use a drink."

She had fed earlier but that didn't mean she wasn't thirsty for something other than blood.

A nice glass of red wine perhaps, or a cup of tea.
She walked along beside down the hall, her boot clicking against the hardwood floors.

Zakhar walked beside the woman, his hands buried in his pockets.

His wet hair dangled in his face, obstructing the few from his only seeing eye. He lifted a hand to brush his hair out of his face, only to have it fall back into his face and obstruct his view again.

He gave an irritated sigh as just left it as it was.

Sometimes he felt the need to cut it but never got around to doing so. As annoying as it could be at times, he didn't mind having his hair in his eyes the rest of the time.

She chuckled briefly and looked up at him.
"Your hair seems more irritating that mine."

Probably not true at all, the amount of times she had stepped on hers or tripped on it while trying to climb stairs was pretty high.

That was in her younger years, now she made sure her hair didn't grow past her ankles and become a hazard.

"It can be at times."

Sometimes he really hated how annoying his hair could be and more than once he had threatened to just shear it all off and be done with it.

But he liked his long hair and didn't want to do away with it.

"You need to get some hair pins to keep it out of your face."

She joked softly, she could not imagine Zakhar pulling his hair up with pins even though it would solve his problem quite easily.

Though with that said she rarely tied her hair up to avoid accidents, she liked having it draping down her back freely.
