Maks sighed but nodded.

He was tired but it was best to just do what Lyo said in moments like these.

"Yeah alright."

After all, the boy was feeding him, the least he could do was help with the cooking a little even if he wasn't good for much else except chopping things up.

"Don't make it such a chore."

Lyo grinned as he pulled Maks into a one armed hug, ruffling his hair as he let go of him.

"We'll probably end up in a major food fight."

They could never help themselves when they were alone and Lyo was baking. They both always ended up covered in ingredients of all natures. It was all so much fun.

Maks struggled as Lyo pulled him in, growling softly as his hair was ruffled.

"I'll just pick at all the toppings while you're elbow deep in dough."

He muttered with a chuckle, they always found a way to make most things enjoyable.

"You pick at the toppings and you won't have any on your pizza."

Maks wouldn't be able to have a good pizza if he ate all his toppings.

"Go pick out a few sweet things. Don't go overboard." Just a few things for them to snack on later while they laid around.

Alyosha stepped into the shop. Nice and warm.

Maks nodded and headed toward the candy isle.

He was rarely greedy, less so when it involved Lyo's money, he wasn't about to grab a whole bunch of things and make the boy pay for it all.

Instead he grabbed Lyo his favourite candy bar and then found his own.

That would be enough, something they could each nibble on later.

"Lyo?"

He called out, searching the rows for him.

Alyosha had picked up the tomato paste within seconds then ventured to the crisps and snacks.

He was debating getting a big bag of popcorn for the two of them to share when he heard Mak call out to him.

"Junk isle," he called.

They'd named each isle for this reason so they could dart between isles and not lose each other for long.

Maks darted to the junk isle quickly, padding over toward Lyo and holding out what he had picked for the boy.

"Found your favourite."

He muttered as his eyes cast over to what Lyo was looking at.

"We getting popcorn too?"

He asked, he hadn't expected Lyo to be getting anything else.

"Great."

Home made pizza and his favourite chocolate bar.

Tonight couldn't get much better.

"Thinking about it. Probably spend the night laying around on the couch munching and watching TV." A nice quiet night.

It was something that the both of them would enjoy.

"Sounds good to me."

The day couldn't get much better than this, other than the fact that they had to get up tomorrow and go to school.

But still, the day would be great while it lasted.

"Salty or sweet?"

He asked, personally he enjoyed both of them.

"Sweet."

Lyo had quite a terrible sweet tooth at times.

He'd eat sweets until his teeth rotted and fell out if he could. It was a bit of a bad habit and he found himself craving sweet things so often that he feared he was going to get fat instead of the muscular build he really wanted.

"Grab it and lets get home."

"Alright."

He replied, grabbing a bag of sweet popcorn and following Lyo to the cashier, after he had paid for it he carried the bag and headed back outside.

He padded back toward Lyo's house a little more quickly, he was eager to get back there instead of standing out in the cold.

"Flea-bag must be freezing his tail off."

He hated that the dog slept outside and he would always sneak him in given half the chance.

"His kennel's fairly warm."

More than once Lyo had been locked out of the house and had to share the kennel with the dog. It was warm enough that neither of them froze, but it could still be pretty damned cold.

"Might be able to keep him in the kitchen tonight."

If the dog didn't get anything dirty, it wouldn't matter too much. Hopefully.

Alyosha opened up the house and let Maks in.

Maks quickly rushed to the kitchen, dumped the shopping on the counter and went to let the dog in the house.

The boy laughed loudly as he was greeted by the a rather snow covered and excited dog to proceeded to knock him over and happily lick his face.

"Flea-bag, down."

He scolded with a chuckle as he pushed himself up, dusted off the snowy dog before leading him into the kitchen and petting him.

Alyosha laughed as he appeared in the kitchen after locking up, to see his best friend and that one human that he tolerated on the floor.

He whistled for the dog as he opened the fridge, pulling a chunk off a cooked chicken carcass for him.

"Sit." Immediate reaction. "Good boy." He scratched behind the dogs ear as he fed him the chunk of chicken.

"Get the toppings together."

"Abandoning me for food."
Maks tutted, shaking his head.

"I've taught you well." He added, petting the dog on the head before washing his hands and getting the toppings ready.

He raided the fridge and got together everything they would need before getting a chopping board and a knife the start cutting.

Alyosha arched a brow as the dog made to skulk into the livingroom.

"I think not. Go sit in the corner."

The dog whined when he was caught and moved to curl up in the corner, glaring up at Alyosha.

"Good boy." Lyo tossed another chunk of chicken at the dog before going to wash his hands and get everything together for the pizza bases.

Maks chuckled as the dog tried to sneak off, points for trying but Lyo was sharper than that.

He sat up on the counter, leaning over the chopping board as he carefully cut up all the things he wanted on top of his pizza.

"Lyo want else do you want for on yours?"

He asked, he didn't know what else the boy wanted him to cut.

The teen shrugged as he began kneading the dough firmly.

His muscles bulged under his pale skin as he kneaded the dough on the counter.

“Just peppers and anchovies for me.” Simple flavours but ones that he enjoyed nonetheless. Alyosha had fairly simple tastes most of the time. He liked the taste of good, simple home-cooked foods.

He tore the dough in two, kneading each piece again before forming the pizza bases skilfully.

Maks stole a glimpse of Lyo's arms before tearing his eyes away and looking back down at what he was chopping.

He jumped down from the counter and pulled out a pepper and the anchovies, chopping them up so they were ready for him before washing his hands again and getting out the plates and oven trays.

"God I can't wait to eat."

He muttered, just the smell of the dough was making him drool.

"You'll have to wait."

When the bases were formed he covered them with tomato paste, he handed them over to Maks to cover them.

"Shove them in the oven when you're done. I'm going to get changed into something comfortable then sort out the stuff for tonight."

Laying around and watching a movie and snacking on junk food all night sounded good.
