[C][M] A Twisted Fate

The Vampire laughed.

"I always found it amusing that the government tries to keep us secret."

He rocked back and forth slowly with a wide grin. "It's like Mermaids and Unicorns and the Chupacabra. We're everywhere in history. Myths don't just appear. There's always some truth behind them."

He hummed softly, turning his gaze upwards.

"And yet they try to hide us. What's the point?"

He certainly didn't understand it. He was all for letting the humans know about their existence.

Rayner gave a soft hum in reply as he thought it over.

It made sense really, if they tried to keep creatures like these a secret, and they were happy to live undetected by the human population it meant that far more old and powerful creatures would not be campaigning for control over the human population.

It also meant that humans were not trying to hunt them instead of being the ones who were unaware and being hunted.

The decision had to be about self preservation.

Cy wouldn't be affected by stupid humans that wanted to hunt him.

He was far too old to be bested by a human. He was old and strong. No human could harm him when he was in his element.

He made it a point to always be in his element.

"I'm bored," he whined, falling back on the bed.

He nudged Ray, looking up at him with a pout. "Entertain me."

"I'd rather not."

He muttered softly as he rolled over, facing away from the Vampire, curling up on his side awkwardly as his legs were still forced apart.

Rayner wasn't in the mood to entertain the man, he didn't want to become comfortable around the Vampire, though at the moment that really wasn't a concern, just being in close proximity to him made Ray's skin crawl.

"Why don't you go find someone more fun to play with."

Cy pushed himself up, resting his chin on the human's hip.

"But I want to play with you," he whined. "Entertain me. Please."

His hand slid up the man's bare back and into his hair, combing his fingers through his locks gently. The really did like the man's hair. It was a shame so much of it was damaged. He'd have to cut quite a bit of it off.

He pressed a kiss to the human's skin and nuzzled against him, looking up at him with pleading blue eyes.

He had to wonder to himself just how lonely this man was that he had to seek the companionship of someone who didn't even like him.

He really doubted this was just about teaching him a lesson, after all, Cyneric had barely placed a hand on him so far.

"I don't know what you want from me, I'm tied to a bed after all."

Rayner looked up at him, shaking his head softly, he was determined to lull the man into a false sense of security then escape in a few hours when the sun rose.

Maybe there was a part of him buried deep that wanted a partner to be close to him and had found that partner in Rayner.

He wasn't consciously aware of that part, though.

Cy was convinced that he was doing this to teach Ray a lesson.

"Find a way."

The man could do any number of things to entertain him at the moment.

Rayner thought for a moment, his mind drawing a blank and he looked up at the man who rested on his hip.

"I guess I'm just not a very entertaining person, sorry."

He muttered dully as he let his head lay back against the pillow, letting his eyes slide shut as he tried to ignore his exposed stated.

"Besides, I'm not nocturnal like you, I'm tired."

He added, his body trying to get as comfortable against the bed as possible.

"You'll get used to that."

It wouldn't take the man long to get used to living nocturnally. Cy wasn't going to let him keep his diurnal sleeping habits.

That meant he got less time to play. He wasn't letting that happen. Not a chance. He'd have as much time with the man as he pleased.

The man pouted again, nipping at the man's hip.

"I guess I can have lots of fun tomorrow."

"I suppose I will."

He answered casually, Ray could play along with the man's delusions for one night, after all, it would only be a few hours until he got out of here anyway.

He honestly could not wait to get out of here, he was going to be so grateful for the sunlight.

Perhaps he would move somewhere nice and sunny and hot, just so he could enjoy the sun everyday.

"Living during the night's not so bad."

Cy puffed out his cheeks. "Sometimes I'd like to feel the sun on my skin. I've never felt it before. But you get used to not feeling it."

The Vampire sat up and pushed his hands through his hair.

"Well, if you're tired, I guess I'll leave you to sleep."

He pushed the human over onto his back, holding him still as he tied him back to the bedposts.

He left the strap from his throat alone this time. If the man struggled too much during the day, he could choke himself accidentally. He wouldn't have that.

Rayner struggled, trying to keep his hands away from the bedposts, he didn't want them bound while he 'slept' but it was no use.

He would just have to break out of these bindings, he had twelve hours of sunlight to do it in, he would manage it even if he ended up hurting himself.

"Good night then."

He grumbled sourly as he looked away from the Vampire, his naked body sprawled out on the bed, completely unable to get away.

Cy leaned over to give the human a deep kiss before pulling away with a hum.

"Night. Do give me a call if you need anything. I wouldn't want you to go without something you need."

With a little wave, Cy slipped out of the room to lay on the couch again.

He could just sit and watch some TV for the rest of the night before sunrise.

Or plot out exactly what was going to happen the next evening.

Rayner just lay there, waiting for Cyneric to leave to room, he wasn't stupid enough to start trying to escape yet, he waited, taking this time to survey the room, looking at the binding on his arms and legs, they wouldn't be easy to escape from, not high quality leather like this.

Once the sun began to rise however he quickly set off to work, pulling on the binding relentlessly, trying to snap the loosen the knots or weaken the leather, hoping it would stretch a little from the strain of his pulling.

This went on for hours, he bucked and kicked, tugged and crawled until his wrists and ankles were bruised and bleeding, burns carved into his skin.

Cy had crawled into the couch at sunrise and just laid and listened to the human struggle.

It amused him. The man was trying so hard to get free. He could smell the blood. Hear the frustration in his heavy breathing.

If he had the capability, it would have bought a smile to his lips.

The human couldn't get away form him.

He'd claimed him.

He was his human.

Come sundown, the Vampire had had a great sleep full of pleasant dreams. He crawled out of the hole in the couch and stretched with a yawn.

When he was more awake, he shifted back and sauntered into the bedroom, excited to see what greeted him.

Rayner could feel his arms and legs trembling from his struggled, he hadn't given up, for twelve hours straight he had fought against his bindings.

He could see it growing dark from the window, a single frustrated tear ran down his cheek, he had failed and soon the Vampire would be back, he knew tonight he wouldn't be as lucky as the previous night, he was terrified of what was going to happen to him.

The man bit back a sob as his head flung back against the bed with a dull thud, all of his effort had been for nothing, he was worse off for it, he had gotten no sleep, he was tired, his body was physically exhausted and he was emotionally drained.

Blood seeped down his arms and legs, his wrists and ankles were covered in deep gashes, angry looking burns and dark purple bruising.

The bindings on his wrists were covered his scratch marks, his nails tearing into it but unable to do enough damage to break them.

"Now isn't that a pretty sight," he crooned, leaning against the door frame as he just stood and admired the sight.

"You wasted a lot of blood, though. Look at all that soaked into the sheets." He tutted softly. He could have had that blood. Wasting it like that didn't make the Vampire happy.

"First off we're going to shave and give you a haircut. You have far too much hair on that beautiful body of yours."

He arched a brow. "Can I trust you to sit still or do I have to do it with you tied down?"

His lips pursed together harshly, trembling softly as he forced himself not to break down and sob.

"It's not like I have a choice."

He muttered, his voice laced with unbridled hatred as he finally slumped against the mattress in defeat, he body couldn't handle any more strain today.

He had worn himself down in the hopes of getting free completely intact, but that had been a hopeless endeavor.

Cy smiled as the man gave up.

"Good boy."

The Vampire disappeared from the room, returning a few moments later. He took his time with the man's body, lapping up the blood from his wrists and ankles, unbinding his limbs and shaving each one meticulously.

An hour later the man's body was completely hair free, His face was free of stubble and his hair was trimmed until Cy was satisfied that it was all healthy and would grow out better if it was well-kept.

"Now you look beautiful," the Vampire crooned, nuzzling in against the human's neck.

Rayner didn't fight him today, he wasn't stupid enough to thrash about while someone had a razor blade up against his skin, the same reason he had stilled the night before when Cyneric had begun to feel, he didn't want something to happen and risk cutting a vein.

The man didn't feel like himself anymore, his body was too smooth, his chin no longer had that texture to it, his hair was shorter than he was use to.

He gave another sigh as he was nuzzled against, slumping as he sat there, staring down at his damaged wrists as they lay limply in his lap.

"It'll grow out," he promised, running his fingers through his human's hair. He'd make sure it grew out. He wanted Ray to have lovely long hair he could spend hours running his fingers through.

"But let's not dwell. Now you're pretty, we can play."

His hands slid down Ray's chest slowly to caress his thighs.

One hand pressed between the man's thighs to stroke his entrance. "We'll start training this tonight, too."

He grinned widely nuzzling closer to his lover, pressing against his back. "And soon your body will be able to take me."

He really didn't care about whether or not his hair grew out, in comparison to everything else that had been happening to him it really didn't matter all that much.

The hands on his thighs made his body tense again and as he entrance was stroked he jolted onto his feet, his eyes narrowing as he looked over at the Vampire.

"I don't want to be able to take you, we are not having sex and you're not going anywhere near my ass."

He replied sternly as he moved as far away as possible.

Cy just watched the human back away from him with a pout on his face.

"I thought you gave up," he grumbled to himself.

Oh well, he could just work with what he had. Ray was exhausted. He couldn't fight forever. Cy just needed to be persistent.

"I don't see why you're so uptight about it. If I stretch you gradually it won't hurt."

A cocky smirk curled his lips. "And I hear that sex with me feels damned good."

Rayner was exhausted, even now he was barely standing, his legs trembled softly, pain shooting through his abused ankles.

"I'm not going to give up."

He replied adamantly, the strength in his eyes far out weighing his physical strength.

"Why would I want to have sex with someone I don't even like?"

He added sharply, his tone full of spite, he wasn't some whore who gave his body to anyone who walked by.

"Yes, you will."

There was no hesitance in his tone. He would. Cy was certain of it. The human boy wasn't going to be able to hold out forever.

"To feel good."

The human smirked.

"That's all we ever look for. Pleasure. People seek out pleasure. It's in our nature to do so. And I'm offering pleasure."

He grinned widely, blue eyes shining. "Your body will give in, even if your mind doesn't."
