[C][M] A Twisted Fate

"It's going to be painful. But only for a few hours."

He'd turned more than enough people to know that the stronger they were as a person, the quicker they got through the pain.

Ray was headstrong. He'd get through the pain just fine in a few hours and it'll all be done with.

"Greedy, dirty little boy," he admonished affectionately, reaching over to wipe the small stream of blood from his cheek and neck, lapping the smears off his fingers.

He was getting closer to taking all he needed to now. Just a few more mouthfuls and he could pull away and leave the boy to rest and get through the hardest part of the transition.

Rayner took a few more deep mouthfuls before his head fell back against the bed, his mouth stained, his lips a vibrant shade of scarlet, the same shade which coated his teeth and tongue.

He panted heavily, he still wanted more but his body had other plans.

His eyes widened before jamming shut, his body curling in upon itself as one hand wrapped around and clutched his middle and the other gripped onto his throat as he took in deep, gulped breaths.

It felt like his body was fire, the blood that had pulled him away from the brink of death now blazed through him, destroying any part of him that was once human and replacing it with their new vampyric counterparts.

Cy watched the boy silently.

There was no use worrying about this. He knew Ray was strong. The boy would get through it.

He had no reason to worry.

"Don't throw up. It'll be a waste of good blood."

The Vampire pushed himself to sit up, leaning over the boy a little to watch his expression twist in pain.

His body slowly began to tremble, it was all part of the transition but he didn't know that, Cyneric had never told him about any of this, with good reason.

Rayner scream tore from his throat as he twisted violently on the bed, his hands clutching onto his chest, as if trying to hold it together.

Cyneric's blood and reached his heart and placed him in absolute agony as it pumped the blood to every part of his body, hitting him immediately as if he had been set ablaze.

His body shivered and sweated simultaneously as if he was freezing and overheating all at once.

His expression didn't falter at all as he watched Ray writhe in agony on the bed.

It was as if the scene of torture in front of him didn't affect him at all.

It really didn't.

He could care less if this was painful for the boy. He could cope with it. The pain would be a good experience for him.

At least he hadn't thrown up yet. Most usually had by this point. He hoped Ray was one of the stronger ones that wouldn't throw up at all. It would be a major waste of precious blood.

Rayner convulsed on the bed, tossing and jerking as his body was raked with wails of absolute torment and anguish, being turned was rough on the body.

More than once he was certain he was going to die, but death never came, only more waves of unimaginable pain as his body chanced.

Hours went by like this, there was no break it in, no moment of peace, only screams and thrashing.

The man coughed violently before slumping back against the bed, his body panting as he looked around in a wild daze for a few moments before he passed out.

"And there it is."

The moment he'd been waiting for. That had been a hard thing to experience. His body just couldnt take that strain without failing like that.

He'd let the boy rest for an hour.

Or a day.

...Or five.

He'd be nice and hungry and ready to give in my then.

Cy made a point of tying the Fledgelings hands a little tighter now. The boy was stronger now.

He leaned down to press a kiss to the boy's parted lips before sliding off the bed. "See you in a few days, honey. Wonder what Sonia's doing..."
