The Moon Is Full Again

It wouldn't be the first time I've become a jungle gym.

His gaze turned to Moe and they both shared a little laugh. Moe had been a very curious, very boisterous child. She took any chance to climb onto and over anything she could.

Her sleeping father was always a favourite for her.

At least this time I'm awake before I get tiny paws lodged in my eye socket.

He laughed harder as his daughter buried her muzzle under her paws in embarrassment. She obviously remembered that, too. She had climbed on him one day, stuck her hind paw in his eye as she tried to climb over her head and he had sent her flying as he woke up in shock.

Wait until Luka gets his paws on you, he'll try gnaw your ears off or play tug-a-war with your tail.
I've been told he's a lot like me, personally I don't see it.

Zeke chuckled softly, as he looked over at the black pup who was occupying his time with pawing and batting at Alek, pouncing all over the Alpha.

Of course he could see that the boy was practically a clone of him, he just hoped that they would be able to keep him out of trouble for the most part.

Zeke grinned over at Moe as she hid under her paws, seems they were both problems in their youth.

Coilean snorted softly.

No, I can't see it either. His voice was heavily laced with sarcasm.

Zeke reminded him of Aodh and himself. If Luka was anything like Zeke then the pup would be somewhat like he and his twin when they were children. That was a scary thought.

He and Aodh had been terrible as children.

Caring for the two of them is going to knacker to two of you out.

It's not going to be easy, especially when they get a little bigger and can sneak off.

At least we're lucky enough to have family and friends around who can help out.

His gaze landed on Aleksandr, the man had been a great help throughout Moe's pregnancy and had been around to help them ever since the pups were born.

He was grateful to him since Zeke hadn't been able to help out much the last few weeks.

I'm sure you'd have help even if you didn't want it.

Coilean flinched when Cinaed slipped and his teeth locked around his ear to keep him in place. He lowered his head to let the pup to the floor.

Once he was safely on the ground, he began climbing him again in another attempt to use him as a climbing frame. He definitely had a stubborn streak a mile wide. Cinaed wasn't stopping until he had done what he wanted to do. That was a trait that he got from both mother and father.

How many times has Aodh tried to knick off with them? he asked with a chuckle. He was certain that Aodh would have tried to steal them a good couple of times already.

His brother loved children.

Zeke chuckled as he watched the pup climb all over his Grandfather, there was no chance of Cinaed stopping regardless of how many times he fell off of the man.

Both of the pups were like that, they found a challenge and kept going until they finally managed to succeed in what they were trying to do, whether that be climbing over someone, escaping their parents grasp or finding a way of wiggling out of their crib.

A fair few times, we have to keep an eye on him constantly.

Thankfully they had Aeker to keep Aodh from stealing the pups, though Zeke didn't mention that, no one had been talking to Coilean much lately and it was likely that he didn't know about his brothers boyfriend despite how long they had been together.

If he were human, his lips would be curled into a little smile. It was great to see pups so energetic and ready for a challenge. Cinaed was young and boisterous and didn't know how to give up when he set his mind on something.

It reminded him of Aodh, which in turn reminded him of Zeke. He didn't know why they seemed so similar; they just did. The two of them just seemed like they had the same traits. The same carefree way of life.

It was probably another reason he resented Zeke somewhat. He wasn't as close with Aodh as he used to be. And being around Zeke, who acted so much like Aodh... It was a dark reminder that he didn't want.

More than the pups, at times, I'm sure.

He could see his brother waiting around for hours for the perfect moment to strike then disappearing with one of the pups without a trace. Or failing miserably and getting caught red handed.

Oh definitely, I'm just lucky we have a people watching him. Last thing I need is him getting away with the pups then having to stop Moe from tearing him apart.

The large black wolf chuckled softly, if it weren't for Aeker keeping an eye on the man he was sure that Aodh would've run off with one of the pups by now, then he would've suffered Moe's wrath.

Family or not no one messed with that woman's pups, Zeke had found out very quickly just how protective she was, with good reason, Lycan pups are vulnerable, hence why there isn't more pureblood Lycans around.

Coilean laughed.

He could picture Moe beating her uncle to a pulp, brushing herself off, picking up her pup and walking away like nothing had happened, leaving poor Aodh slumped in a bloody heap.

Life sounds interesting now you have the pups - and overgrown pup - to look after.

He regretted not being around. He had been stupid when he lashed out in a fit of rage.

Life has always been interesting, having pups is a little more challenging than first I thought, it being November really didn't help, I've been a bit useless the last few weeks but thankfully Alek picked up the slack for me.

At least it meant that Aodh hasn't been around much lately either.

He chuckled softly, Zeke wasn't embarrassed about the issues males faced during mating season, they all had to deal with it and at least he was honest about his flaws.

They seemed to be bonding slightly, and if Zeke could get on the man's good side again it would be easier for both of them to forgive him.
Though he hadn't been able to understand much of the fight he was sure that Coilean had said some horrible stuff about him, knowing Moe she had dulled it all down when translating.

Goooood evening, bitches. Miss me? the Lycan said as he padded into the clearing behind Alek, bowing his head to pick up Luka before settling next to Zeke.

He didnt realise until a few moments later that there was another in the little group. His twin.

But it didn't look like they were fighting. He even had Cinaed crawling all over him.

The Irishman leaned over towards Zeke. You getting on now? he whispered, silver gaze turning to Coilean. If everyone was playing happy family, then he wasn't going to kick up a shitstorm.

Zeke snorted softly as Aodh padded towards them, speak of the devil.

He had missed the man but there was no way in hell he would ever voice that.

The large black wolf nodded softly as Aodh leaned towards him.

I'm being the bigger man, but he's been pleasant enough, seems he finally came to his senses, only took seeing his Grandchildren for him to realize that he was an idiot and apologize.

Zeke whispered in return, Coilean had behaved himself so far, he had his doubts when he first saw the ember wolf enter the clearing.

One look at Luka and you'd fall in love. I'm not surprised.

He had quickly taken a liking to the little black pup. He was adorable and feisty. Fun to play with and someone that could keep him on his toes all the time.

I'm surprised you're playing nice. From what Moe told me, I would have thought you would have ripped his throat out and painted the clearing red by now.

Moe had never been able to lie to Aodh. She had told him everything Coilean had said to her and Zeke. It was enough to make him urge. And for the first time in a long time, he had felt true hatred for his brother.

And he wasn't the one directly affected by those words.

If the pups get your subtlety, Zeke, they're absolutely fucked, Coilean commented, staring dully at the younger Lycan.

I'm nearly two thousand years old, I can hear you just fine.

His hearing was far too good to not be able to hear a whisper so close.

A soft chuckle sounded as Cinaed tugged at his ear, his attention turning to the pup rather than his brother and son.

He turned to Coilean, uneffected by the fact that the man could hear them.

And I stand by what I said, you're an idiot for opposing the birth of these two.

He replied, Luka and Cinaed, despite their rebellious and naughty nature were wonderful children and they were blessed to have had them.

Zeke turned back to Aodh and nodded.

I thought about it, quite seriously, but I want the pups to know every member of their family and grow up being close with all of them.

He leaned over and licked the little black pup softly before Luka decided to follow his brother's lead and climb up Aodh's body.

It wasn't their birth I opposed to.

It wasn't easy to explain. He loved the idea of having grandchildren, but not the idea of anyone touching his daughter for that to happen. Since Raffael, he had grown over protective of the woman.

He sighed heavily, resting his muzzle on his paws.

This had been going so well but he could feel his mood darkening little by little as they continued to speak about him.

Zakhar was dreading this.

He knew Aodh was around here and he had been putting off mingling with the pack for the past few months.

He didn't want to butt heads with the older Lycan.

And just his luck, both twins were there.

His tail tucked between his legs as he hovered at the edge of the clearing, wondering whether he should run now or whether he should venture into the clearing and try and socialise anyway.

Even after that?

He definitely wouldn't let Coilean anywhere near his children if he had said something as hateful as that to him. Not a chance in Hell.

The Lycan paused, eyes trained on the Lycan that had just appeared. He knew those scars. He knew them well.

Zakhar, he growled slowly, nudging Luka towards his father before bounding towards the younger Lycan, growling and snarling.

He hated the Russian. Absolutely hated him.

He looked back over at the Lycan as he sighed, Zeke shook his head softly.

I know Coilean, Moe explained it all too me and I can safely say that after seeing you tonight with Cinaed, I have no resented towards you.

I already told you that I would be the same way if it were my daughter of something like that ever happened to either of these two.
So stop beating yourself up about it and start thinking of a way to make it up to Moe.

Zeke had no intentions of making the man feel bad while he was talking to Aodh, but much like his Uncle he was prone to simply blurting out what he was thinking.

He shrugged slightly at his Uncle, Coilean's words didn't affect him so much, Zeke went by actions not words, but seeing how it hurt Moe is what got him riled up.

Zeke grabbed Luka and tucked the Pup back between his paws, keeping his close to his chest as Aodh bounded off.
He wasn't about to let the boy get caught in the cross fire.

A loud yelp sounded when Aodh barrelled into his side.

He wasn't strong enough to fight off Aodh by himself. Though Coilean was fond of him, he would never go against his brother so he would have no help there.

Alek seemed too preoccupied with the bitch and her pup to notice him. He was usually the one that stopped Aodh from lashing out and killing him.

His teeth sank into Aodh's skin as Aodh's did the same to him, tearing at fur and flesh savagely as he tried to save himself from Aodh's anger.

Who could help him now?

Belial!

Oh God, he hoped Belial would come here and help him.

Belial was still out in the woods, he had been watching Coilean carefully and it seemed that the Wolf had made quite a bit of progress reuniting with his family.

The Demon's eyes snapped over to the black wolf currently fighting with another.

The mark on his back burned as the Wolf called out mentally to him, whether Zakhar knew it or not, he was summoning Belial.

He bolted forwards, his form changing instantly as he fell forward onto all fours.

The beast ran through the woods at tremendous speed, it's body coated in pitch black fur, pulled tightly over protruding ribs and bones.
The creature was thin but it's claws sliced into the ground as it ran, his eyes glowed purple from behind it's exposed fanged skull, which sat upon a mane of black fur.

A form Belial rarely got to use, but it seemed fitting, a Hell hound, a creature invisible to the human eye but could be plainly seen by other supernaturals.

The Beast snarled as it rammed into the ember wolf, barreling him over.

Aodh didnt stop tearing into Zakhar even after he tasted blood.

No, he hated the man too much to ever stop attacking him because he had been injured.

If it wasn't for Belial knocking him off of him, he would have continued attacking until he was dead.

Instead, he turned his anger on Belial, attacking him, tearing into his flesh rather than Zakhar's. It was a poor replacement but it would have to do. If this bastard was going to protect Zakhar, then he would tear through him first and then go after Zakhar again afterwards.

Belial snarled as Aodh tore into his flesh, the two creatures were practically the same size however Belial's demonic form held far more muscle.

He knocked the wolf over again, leaping onto him as his stomach was exposed.

His long claws racked at the Lycan's torso and limbs as his jaw wrapped around his throat, biting down forcibly.

Belial had no intention of killing anyone in the mansion, least of all one of Alek's sons, but he would not allow the man to rip apart his slave.

Aodh growled and snarled, thrashing against the Demon's hold on his throat.

He cried out a pained whimper when Belial's nails raked down his torso.

Once again he had come home from a fight completely banged up. Aeker wasn't going to be best pleased when they got back to the room and the Vampire had to patch his boyfriend up.

He really needed to start taking more care of himself.

Fucking let go of me!

Belial growled, low and threateningly.

If you ever attack Zakhar again I will personally tear your head off.

His purple gaze flared, staring down at the Lycan in anger, he would make good on his threat, if anyone tried to hurt his Wolf they would be punished severely.

Belial released his jaw from around the man's throat slowly, moving back, putting himself between Aodh and Zakhar.

His head remained low and his fur stood on end as he snarled, barking a sharp warning, if he tried to make a move to attack Zakhar again, Aodh would be a good as dead.
