The Birthday Bash

"Perhaps."

He grinned, curling his fingers around his wine glass as he lifted it to his lips.

"Your niece has offered to give me cooking lessons, as well as assisting me in transitioning from a liquid diet to solids."

His eyes glowed happily as the man spooned his cooking into his mouth.

"Not toxic?"
He asked, tilting his head slightly.

He grunted around another mouthful.

He wouldn't waste precious eating time talking. Especially when what he was eating was his favourite.

His niece's recipe at that.

Aodh waved a hand, eyes meeting with Aeker's to assure him he was listening to the vampire.

"I figured our travels would be much easier if I only need to feed once a week instead of every couple of days, long trips would prove difficult otherwise.

Plus with you trying your best to adjust to my needs I figured I should put some effort into changing to make our relationship a little easier."

He smiled warmly at the man as he ate, he didn't want a reply at all he just figured this was something he should tell Aodh in case he fell ill from eating something that disagreed with him, he didn't want the lycan freaking out.

He gave another muffled grunt.

Okay...so he wasn't listening much any more. He had picked up feeding once a week and Aeker putting effort into something.

This stew was good.

Moe needed to teach Aeker how to cook more.

Aeker shook his head and chuckled at Aodh, he was so stereotypically lycan right now, thinking with only his stomach.

It made him happy though, seeing his boyfriend enjoying something that he had made for him.

As long as Aeker could satisfy Aodh's core needs, he was content.

It didn't take Aodh long to finish the bowl.

He sat still for a moment before standing up and wandering to the pot of help himself to a large second helping.

This stew was really good.

Aeker leaned back and smiled inwardly just watching the lycan as he got himself another bowl full.

Cooking was a very satisfying past time, he'd definitely keep doing it.

He took another drink of wine ran his hands through his hair, plaiting it loosely and letting it hang over his shoulder.

He didn't even bother sitting at the table again

He leaned back against the counter, chewing silently on the potatoes and onions, eyes closed, just enjoying the meal.

After the second bowl was empty, he filled it a third time.

Aodh loved stew.

He chuckled softly and shook his head, he'd end up carrying Aodh back to the room later if he kept stuffing himself to the point where he would struggle to walk.

"You're going to make yourself sick if you keep eating like that."

How someone could manage to eat that much food and still keep his body like that was beyond him.

He murmured and waved the hand holding his spoon.

Aodh could count the number of times he had eaten enough to make himself feels sick on one hand.

It definitely wouldn't happen with one pot of stew.

He began purring as he spooned the food into his mouth.

"Don't try to talk with your mouth full."

He scolded softly as Aodh murmured, shaking his head at the lycan as he finished his wine, licking his lips softly.

"I'm glad you like it, I'll be sure to learn some more things Moe."

Perhaps he would attempt to cook sweets at some point...

He stuck his tongue out childishly; the half chewed potato clung to his tongue, giving the vampire a not very nice sight of half-eaten food.

Then he returned to eating.

His eyes snapped up to Aeker and he gave an approving nod.

He'd like the vampire to learn more from his niece. Moe was an excellent cook and her teaching him meant that even if she wasn't around, he'd get her amazing cooking.

Aeker looked at Aodh flatly as he stuck his food covered tongue out at him, disgusting.

"I was just debating in my mind whether or not I should learn to make sweets for you since I know you love desserts but after that lovely little display I think I will retire from cooking."

His expression didn't waver, giving away no hint of joking what so ever.

Aodh pouted a little, swallowing what was in his mouth.

"I'll have fun trying to convince you otherwise," he murmured with a little grin, stirring the gravy in his bowl.

If Aeker didn't learn how to cook sweets for him, he always had Moe and bakeries. And his own cooking. If it came down to him only being able to get sweets if he had to cook them, he'd do it.

Aodh couldn't live without sweets.

"How do you intend on trying to convince me to cook sweets for you?"

He asked, raising an eyebrow at the wolf, he was actually interested in what the wolf could use against him, or use to tempt him into cooking again.

He moved over to the bench and started cleaning up the dished, tapping the pot with a spoon.

"Not much left, best bring some back to the room for Maccon."

"I have a few methods." Sex. No sex. Silent treatment. Being as annoying as possible.

He licked the back of his spoon with a little grin.

He wondered which one would get the best result. He'd have to try them all and see which one persuaded the vampire more.

Aodh's eyes snapped up and he gave the man a look that questioned his sanity. Did he really thing Aodh was going to give Maccon some of his favourite food? He loved the dog, but not that much.

"Oh? do tell."

He smirked, musing over what the lycan could possibly do to him.

He took the dirty dishes and began cleaning the ones that Aodh was no longer using.

"Oh don't look at me like that, you've had multiple helpings, I do hope you have at least fed her today."

"Nope~ I'll keep it a secret."

He helped himself to the last of the stew. Maccon wasn't getting any of his favourite food. He didn't love anyone enough to share potato and onion stew.

"Yes, I fed her." He had fed her before he went out sunbathing in the morning. And again at the cottage. But that was more whatever tidbits Moe had offered out of the fridge than a proper meal.

Aeker huffed softly as he finished the last of the dishes.

"That's a shame, I was interested in how you would manage to do it."

He shrugged and dried his hands, leaning back against the counter and looking back at Aodh.

"Satisfied?"
He asked, if he hand managed to satisfy two of the man's needs tonight he would consider that a success.

"You'll have to stay just interested because I'm not telling you." He grinned at the vampire and stuck his tongue out.

The Lycan licked the back of his spoon then dumped both the spoon and the dish in the sink for Aeker to wash up.

"Aye."

He had enjoyed that a lot.

Aeker rolled his eyes and washed the spoon, drying and putting it away with the rest of the dishes.

"I'm going to make it a rule that if I cook, you wash up from now on."

Today would have to be an exception, it was his birthday still after all.
"Sexed and fed, is there anything else you wanted to do tonight?"

He asked as he sat up on the counter, looking down at the wolf with a soft smile.

Aodh snorted.

"Good luck with that one." Aodh didn't wash dishes. Ever. No one had even bothered to try and make him because they knew what a stubborn ass he was.

A grin quirked the Lycan's lips.

"I wouldn't be opposed to being sexed again."

Aeker laughed softly and gazed at Aodh.

"In the last week I don't think I have left that bed for more than a few hours.
What have you managed to do to me, Aodh?"

The vampire was use to being quite active but he rarily saw the outdoors since he and Aodh spent most of their time in bed together, that and he had to be in the room by sunrise.

Aodh laughed. "I may have turned you into an Incubus."

Which he knew was absolute bullshit. You couldn't turn a vampire into an Incubus - it was a sub-species. You couldn't turn a wolf into a grey wolf or a timber wolf. They had to be born into that species.

His eyes gleamed. "Now, who said anything about a bed?"

Beds got boring after a while. There was only so much you could do on one. Aodh liked exploring many different surfaces when eh was having sex.

Aeker laughed softly.
"I think maybe you have, I'm certainly feeling like on at the moment."

He smiled and moved closer to the lycan, not that being an Incubus was a bad thing, just Aeker had never been an overly sexual person, though that had quickly changed when he had met Aodh.

"Oh?"
He muttered, raising and eyebrow.
"What did you have in mind then?"
