Perhaps not such a lazy day

"I will, last thing I need is her tearing pups apart while your gone, she'll find a new victim"

If he was taking over Aodh's position he could not leave the grounds on fullmoon, he'd promised that those nights would be date night for the two of them. 

Hopefully Moe would understand and want to stay in the forest instead.

Above all else he hoped that his wife took the news well, with how she worried all the time he doubted he would escape a lecture from her.

"I'll remember that Aodh."
He grumble, if they all fought dirty, he sure as hell could too.

"Urgh, I feel sorry for whoever becomes her victim already."

Moe was a little shit when she was left to her own devices on a full moon. Everyone tended to steer clear of her.

Aodh chuckled. "Thought I'd give you a heads up before someone else tries it. Coilean wont do it often but if he's in a tight spot he will. I do it when I want to prove a point and when I'm in a tight spot. Moe's constantly doing it."

He chuckled softly again. "She's always fought dirty. Being a bounty hunter teaches you that you gotta play dirty to get what you need. She's a silent kill assassin, she plays the dirtiest of us all."

Zeke winced softly, remembering Moe playing dead on their first full moon, only to pierce his arm with her sharp little teeth.

"Yeah, I know how dirty Moe fights."
His little devil of a wife had played on his emotions to try and beat him.

Zeke caught up to Aodh, walking beside him with a chuckle.

"I have a feeling she will choose one of the younger wolves, as long as it's not me I'm happy."

Mainly because he couldn't bring himself to fight against Moe, it made him feel too guilty.

"She'll do more than just play on emotions. I'd try not to get in a verbal fight with her, either."

His eyes flickered to Zeke.

"She's had to be really manipulative to get what she needed; she'll blackmail and badmouth. She can tear you apart without even lifting a finger." He had seen her in a verbal match with Coilean at one point a couple months ago. He couldn't believe how she had fought.

He snorted softly. "I feel sorry for the pups. She'll probably be half the size of them and still tear them to shreds." He wished he could be there to see that; it'd be funny to watch.

"She's a deceptive little thing, small and innocent looking, looks could not have been more wrong."

He replied padding towards the cottage, he could already smell food, though their house almost constantly smelled this good.

"I do too, knowing pups they wont take her serious, I wonder how many seconds they last before they realize that they are screwed."

He chuckled, he had no doubts that Moe would put each and every one of those pups in their place in an instant.

"I wonder what she's made this time."
He muttered, placing his hand on his stomach as it gave an audible growl.

"That girl is far from innocent," he snorted.

He'd been around for people's bragging over their conquest of his niece. They weren't bragging for long, what what he heard said that she was anything but innocent.

"I smell Sprout's cooking." He grinned widely, he loved Sprout's cooking.

"Two? Three if she's being nice." Moe didn't like to be underestimated. She'd set anyone that even thought about underestimating her straight in the most painful and humiliating way possible.

"Don't know but it smells damned good." He bolted forwards with a grin. He was looking forwards to getting first helpings.

"I give them two and half seconds before she has them on their knees."

He chuckled, he's love to see Moe beating the shit out of some pups, at least he didn't have to worry about protecting her, she could handle things all too well on her own.

"You're not wrong."
He agreed, chasing after Aodh quickly, god help him if he thought he was going to eat all of his lunch.

Moe's cooking was definitely something he would fight for, if Aodh tried to eat it all, he'd be a dead wolf.

"It depends whether or not she wants to play with them or not first." God help them if she wanted to play with them. She was cruel when she was playful.

Aodh threw open the door to the cottage and skidded down the hall into the kitchen.

"Hey,Sprout,Iloveyou. Feedme," he greeted in a rush, padding forwards to see what his niece had cooking for them today.

He didn't care what it was, it smelled good so he was having some.

Moe smiled to herself as she stepped back away from the counter, wiping flour off her hands. A smear of flour decorated one of her tanned cheeks.

Two large steak and Stilton pies sat on the counter, crusts golden brown and smelling absolutely divine.

She snapped around when a streak of orange bowled through the kitchen and she gave a sigh.

"Staying with us for lunch, then, are you, Uncle Aodh?" she questioned needlessly. It was a good thing she had made two pies.

The woman pursed her lips. "I wish you would warn me in advance when you want to stay for lunch. I dont always cook enough for an army of people."

Zeke swiftly chased after Aodh, running into the kitchen and tugging on the man's hair sharply.

"Try throwing a 'please' into that sentence Aodh."

Zeke walked over to kiss his wife softly before washing his hands in the sink and taking a seat at the table.

"Don't worry about feeding him Love, he doesn't deserve it."

He smirked and chuckled softly before fetching some glasses and a bottle of water.

"It smells amazing, as usual."

Aodh gave a yelp when his hair was tugged, giving Zeke a withering look as he straightened his hair out.

"Please," he hissed to appease his nephew.

He rolled his eyes when Zeke kissed the woman. "Come on, I want food, not porn. Control yourself for as long as it takes for us to wolf down those pies, then go back to making out with her."

"It does smell good, though, Sprout." He grinned widely at the woman, hoping she didn't beat him for that earlier comment.

Moe returned the kiss with a soft smile.

"I've tried to teach him manners before, Zeke-kun, it doesn't work to the desired effect." She gave Zeke a look when Aodh forced out the word with a hiss. "See what I mean."

Her cheeks flushed a very dark shade of red and she turned her gaze from Aodh and Zeke, biting her lips.

...Had Aodh really just said that?

"...I don't think I should feed him, either. Do you want his share, Zeke-kun?"

Zeke whacked Aodh on the back of the head, chuckling as he shook his head, that man was constantly dooming himself.

"I'd love his share."

He replied, slumping back down in his chair and pouring himself a drink.

Looking at Aodh sternly, he wasn't going to have him storm in here, demand food and then be rude.

"Unless your dear uncle can apologize to you and ask for some politely."

Pay back for that punch you asshole.
Zeke smirked softly.

He rubbed the back of his head with a whine, glaring at Zeke.

Aodh spluttered, looking and and fourth between the two of them. They weren't giving him any?

That was cruel on so many levels.

His eyes snapped around to Zeke and narrowed dangerously.

You're a dick.

"I apologise for the porn comment and would very much like some of that delicious pie. Please, Moe?" He gave a bright smile.

...He was begging for his favourite food. That was cruel. Very cruel.

When the dark blush faded, she turned to the cupboard, pulling out three plates.

The woman busied herself with cutting the pies into thirds. after she had finished the first pie, she tapped the drawer next to her hip.

"Zeke," she said simply before turning to the second pie. She hadn't even turned to look at him.

They needed cutlery to eat and the cutlery was currently sat in that drawer. Moe cooked and washed the dishes and Zeke set the table.

She served a third of one pie on two plates then cut the remaining third in half, serving herself a smaller slice.

Moe didn't eat all that much compared to other Lycan.

She turned, holding two plates. She set one of them down in front of Zeke, bending to give him a soft kiss.

When she set the plate in front of Aodh, she bowed to press her lips against his ear. "Just so you know, Uncle Aodh, we only do it in the kitchen on special occasions," she whispered softly, dark grin curling her lips.

And then she flitted off to set her pie on the table and sit down.

"Enjoy, boys."

Zeke returned Aodh's glare with one of his own, their house, their rules, Moe was not his maid, she did this because she loved them so she deserved a little respect.

"I'm on it."
He called, jumping out of his seat to grab the cutlery, he was well versed in setting the table now, she'd put that habit into his head pretty quickly, he wanted to then he had to set the table.

He poured them all a drink before sitting back down.

Leaning up to kiss his wife softly as she set the food in front of him, not wasting any time in digging in once Moe had sat down.

That was Zeke's one rule, he didn't eat until Moe was sitting down, he didn't want her slaving away while he stuffed his face.

He gave a half-shrug.

He knew he had to be respectful. He didn't force her to do things or badmouth her. He was thankful she cooked for him. But his mouth ran on its own.

Aodh watched Zeke jump up with an amused grin. He wasn't surprised that she had beaten that into her husband's head. He had beaten into hers.

He could clearly see himself standing where Moe was and Moe running around collecting cutler like Zeke was currently doing. God, he missed that girl's childhood. She was such a sweet little girl.

Aodh picked up the glass of water with a nod as thanks and took a sip. Just as Moe whispered in his ear. He coughed and spluttered, setting the glass down quickly, looking up at her with wide eyes.

...Did he say sweet? No, she was far form it.

"I did not want to know that, Sprout."

Moe smiled, mind in the same place as Aodh's as Zeke pulled open the cutlery drawer.

She missed her childhood years spent in the Galley with her uncle, as well. She had so much fun as a child running around helping Aodh cook for well over two hundred people.

Moe smiled brightly when sat down. "If you make comments nobody wants to hear, I get to, as well."

"Itadekimasu," she murmured softly before cutting into her pie, lifting a small piece to her mouth.

"How was your run, Zeke-kun? Did anything interesting besides picking up this stray happen?" This was another little thing she had picked up on doing since they moved into the cottage. Zeke usually spent his mornings out for a run while she prepared lunch and when they sat down to eat, she'd ask him about it.

It was a little thing, but she felt that lunch wouldn't be the same without her asking.

Zeke chuckled as Aodh spluttered, wondering what dirty little comment his wife had shocked him with.

"Thank you for lunch love it's amazing."
He muttered, shoving another fork full into his mouth.

He smiled at her as she asked about his run.
"Had a good run. Pretty uneventful."

He nodded, glancing at Aodh for a moment, should he tell Moe what had happened?
No, it was Aodh's job to tell her that he was leaving and Zeke was becoming Beta, if he hadn't told Coilean he didn't want to be telling people before Aodh got a chance.

"Got bored and chased some rabbits around, didn't bother catching them, didn't want to spoil my appetite."

He eyed the table warily. "...Do I want to eat on this...?" His eyes flickered up to Moe then to Zeke.

Yes. No. Yes. No...

Yes,, he wanted to eat. He was hungry.

He forked a large piece into his mouth then moaned. "I knew I made the right choice teaching you how to cook, Sprout. This is gorgeous." Moe had gone above and beyond his teachings.

Aodh sent a grateful glance to Zeke.

He'd tell Moe closer to the time. He didn't want her worrying for months on end before he even left.

"Calm down, you baby," she sighed, giving Aodh a deadpan look. "Nothing happened that you haven't done a hundred times over."

She smiled at the two of them when they complimented her. "Thank you." She loved knowing her cooking was good.

The Hybrid gave a soft little smile and a small shake of her head. "If you had come home with a stomach full of rabbit, I would have given your pie to the rabbits." If he came home with a spoiled appetite, he wasn't getting any food.

"How've you been lately, Uncle Aodh? Made any new friends?"

Zeke smirked cheekily at Aodh, giving him a wink.
He had been bringing up his and Moe's sex life quite a bit, hopefully this would shut him up a bit.

"Hence why I didn't bother killing any of them, I know well enough now that I have to be here for every meal."

He smiled at her, she was determined to make him eat properly and he was more than happy to oblige.

He continued eating but his eyes flicked up Aodh when Moe asked him.
Grinning softly at him, Zeke already knew that Aodh had made at least one friend.

"...Still," he whined, glaring down at the table. "Do I want to be eating at a table that you two have rutted on? I want you two to have kids but I don't want to know where you're trying to make them."

But, through all his whining, he had been stuffing his face.

Moe's pie was too good to worry about where he was eating it.

"Yeah, I've made some friends. But I think I made an enemy on the full moon. I'll have to try and talk to Damien at some point..." He shook his head then gave a little smile. "I'm dating someone again, Sprout. Seriously."

She bit her lips, turning her eyes to her plate as she chased a chunk of meat around her plate.

Kids.

It was the poisonous word of the moment. Why did everyone want her to have kids? Couldn't she make that decision for herself? She was old enough to not have to have other people pushing her in the right direction any more.

Her eyes flickered up and brightened. "You are? That's wonderful news!" Aodh very rarely dated anyone seriously. Usually it was a fling that never lasted or just a one night stand.

"Who is she? It is Alexis-san?" She giggled and clapped her hands together. "She really likes you, y'know. I found out at the wedding."

Zeke shook his head, Aodh would not let up about them having kids, he hoped he would not have to deal with Moe being upset about that comment later.

Oh yeah, Zeke had forgotten that Alexis liked Aodh, but he had sais he had a boyfriend earlier so it definitely was not her, shame but he had to wonder how she had taken the rejection.

She probably dodged a bullet, he couldn't see anyone wanting to date this hot head.

"Yeah Aodh, who is it?"
The older wolf had not told him that much before.
