Lazy Night (Anyone can join~)

As I have said, anyone can join (and leave if they wish). But the more the merrier~ (Sorry for the boring post, but hopefully you all can make it more interesting~)

The fountain glistened and glimmered under the moonlight, trickling steadily into the shallow pond filled with small gold fish - from pale white to a deep orange.

The fountain was the main attraction of the typical Italian courtyard, something you would see in a modern day travel Brochure. The floor made up of smoothed out stones, with numerous of flowers and small trees in pots set around. There were also small patches of grass, expertly placed, that led on the gorgeous flower bed filled with many flowers from all over the world - despite it not being the right conditions for them to grow and bloom.

Richard breathed steadily, watching his breath. He sipped the last of his lukewarm tea and continued to admire the scenery in front of him, while comfortably sitting on the bench that overlooked the courtyard.

He yawned and stretched, hearing his back creak as he did so, feeling the idleness increasing as the night went on.

Nora stepped into the courtyard, absolutely beautiful in the moonlight. The type of scene that made her think of couples dancing.

Nora walked over to the pond to stare at the goldfish, who were all swimming carelessly around. Just being fish. After a while of admiring the fish she decided maybe to sit down, the courtyard is empty after all.

She turned towards the bench then noticed Richard sitting idly down. "H-h-hello" Nora quietly said, walking towards him "Who are you?" She asked sitting as far from Richard as the bench would allow.

Richard watched s young woman, fairly short with long red hair, walk around the court yard - seemingly in her own little world. He kept quiet, so he did not disturb her. But he kept in his non-threatening position, so he would not scare her if she saw him or if he decided to make himself noticed.

He watched as she turned towards him and stuttered a 'hello' - which he had to strain to hear. Richard nodded in greeting as she the seemingly shy woman sat on the opposite side of the bench.
"I'm Richard, a chosen Regent." He paused, before asking softly; "Who are you?"

He seems nice and friendly enough... Nora thought to herself and smiled slightly at the soft tone of Richards voice

"M-my name's Nora" She paused for a moment then relaxed herself. For some reason or another she felt completely safe and calm

"It's a p-pleasure to meet you Richard" But perhaps still shy, despite letting her guard down, just this once.

"So...Do you come out here a lot?" Nora asked staring at him

Alexander had been star gazing all night long on a roof above the courtyard. it truely was a beautiful night, so peaceful, so calm.
while looking a the celestial artwork in the sky her heard the very quiet voice of a girl.

Alexander ajusted his possition on the roof so he was now looking over the tip and down onto the scene below. he did not disturb who he saw as Richard and the little girl Nora.

He watched patiently trying not to make a sound.

Out of the corner of Richards eye he noted Alexander moving on top of the the roof, so that he was looking down on himself and the young woman - Nora. He decided not to great him, figuring that he may not want to be noticed or willing to talk to them.

He focused his eyes back on Nora and continued the conversation.
"I guess I do, it is one of the more quieter, yet still beautiful, places of the mansion. What about yourself?"

Nora remained blissfully unaware of Alexanders presence and answered "W-well I haven't been here very long really. I didn't even know we had a courtyard like this...It's pretty, just you-I mean...Y-y-you know. Just like you know...The ocean! That's what I was trying to say! Not you I mean-Not that you aren't pretty!" Nora giggled awkwardly and turned her head away from Richard and looked at the stars

"P-p-pretty huh?" She pointed at the sky

alexander watched with a slightly amused look on his face.

nora seemed very much like a school girl talking to a teacher she had a crush on.
he chuckled to himself quietly and rested his head in his hands.

Giacinto glided out into the cool night air, large sketchbook under arm and pack of drawing pencils tucked into the waistband of her jeans.

She took a seat on the floor in front of the bench her Chosen Regent and Servant were sat on, leaning back against the cool stone.

She arranged the sketchbook, open at a clean page, on her bent knees and pulled the tin of pencils from the waistband of her jeans, setting it on the floor and flicking it open without even looking at it. Her eyes were too caught up in staring at the large fountain in the centre of her mates courtyard.

With a small smile, a pencil found its way into her hand and she began.

Richard felt himself go warm at the unintentional complement. He was never to good at receiving complements.

He looked up at the stars and hummed in agreement, watching them twinkle in the sky.

He looked back down and raised his eye-brow as Giacinto appeared, silently settling down between himself and Nora on the floor. Her eyes focused on the fountain in front of them, not greeting them. Instead, she began drawing, presumably, the fountain in front of them.

"Why, it is nice to see you too Giacinto. Oh, I do agree, it is a lovely night. Did you sleep well?"

after a promise with Lilim...Valora had decided to try and forget her past....as it was just the past....it couldn't touch her, and neither could her family as they weren't allowed near the mansion.

so....she had decided that once a night, she'd play an instrument, and let herself relax.

that night was calm and pretty enough that she had decided to take out her violin for the first time in a long while

she had it made for her secretly and was made of a beautiful mahogany body with a rosewood neck and had hand crafted strings and mother of pearl in swirling designs etched into the fingerboard. there was even delicate engravings in the wood of the body.

heading outside, she barely noticed the others that had been there and was just along the tree line, not to far from the fountain.

she stared at the running water with silver light from the moon streaming through it and decided to use it as inspiration. it had a lovely calming effect on her.

carefully raising her violin to her neck, her scarred hands ran over the perfectly kept wood before raising her bow and placing it against the strings.

she hummed a tune a little before she closed her eyes and took a deep breath to calm herself

my family can't reach me....they can't do anything....you're stronger than them Valora.....you can relax here....you have friends, and you can do whatever you want...no matter what others say

she didn't believe the words, but it was a start for her.....eventually it would be a truth, but for now it was a fantasy....but it was enough for her to gather enough courage to begin an improvised piece.

it was calm and slow and melodic, but it was a sad tune that tugged at heart strings...but there were parts that would make you smile a tiny bit.

she was still hurt...and she was still scared...but she was getting back to normal....ish

Nora noticed Giacinto sit don in front of them and begin drawing. Nora stared, fascinated. She also noticed Valora enter the courtyard with a violin and start playing a melody, one that was sort of sad, yet sort of happy.

Nora closed her eyes and thought about the creativity around her and sighed, wondering if she should try something one day Maybe...

alxander watched gia walk in to the courtyard, sketchbook in hand and smiled.

hmm maybe she can finish her sketch this time

Alexander was about to pull out his flute and start playing to the moon when he heard the distinct playing of valora on her violin.

he sat and listened to her melody and instantly knew she was improvising. it was a sombre melody with flits of happiness.

finally she is learning to let go...

He lay on the roof top watching and listening contently.. he didnt want to disturb the others below. he had no right to interfier any more. not now...

The Succubus didn't look up from what she was doing.

She merely waved her free hand dismissively in Richard's general direction.

With her tongue stuck out between her lips in her concentration, she muttered something unintelligible.

"Muumphumm."

She'd be social after she finished her sketch.

"Oh, I see that others have join us or have made themselves known, and are also having a grand conversation, just like yourself, Giacinto." Richard muttered, relaxing into the bench as a melody filled the courtyard - courtesy of Alexander and Valora.

He looked down at Giacinto's sketch, feeling the slight urge to start sketching himself... Maybe even do a oil painting? His mind reminded him of the last, which he spent weeks on - only for it to get caught in a fight. He quickly pushed away that idea.
