| Alek cried out in his rage as he was shaken.
Fuck this.
His fist came down again and again as he was shaken and crushed. He couldn't allow himself to be killed.
Chester would be devastated waking up to an empty bed.

| The wolf growled threateningly as he was struck again, his vision blurred more except this time he couldn't shake it off and with the forth blow to his head he weakened.
Slowly he was losing grasp on his consciousness.
Another blow as his jaw let go of the man, his head slumped and he fell onto the ground with a whine before going silent.

| Alek gave a soft, almost painted huff when the Wolf dropped to the floor and let go of him.
He cursed softly in Greek as he moved to push himself to his knees.
He stared at the Wolf's unconscious body for a few moments before giving a soft growl.
Now he'd have to drag him to the dungeon before he even thought of going to Ly to get healed.
His hands curled in the thick fur, dragging him along back towards the mansion, stopping every now and again to get over the harsh pain in his ribs.

| Most Lycan when knocked unconscious would automatically return to their human form.
He was so far gone that even in a state where he was forced to be calm and relaxed he was still a wolf.
His body clung to this state and refused to change back.

| Eventually Alek had dragged the Wolf into the mansion and down the stairs.
He winced with every thud the large Wolf's head made against the steps as he dragged him down them.
He'd wake up with a headache at the very least.
Alek forced the Wolf into one of the cells, locking it behind him,
He'd confront him when he woke up and Alek was healed.

| The wolf stayed still and silent in the cage throughout the night, not stirring at all.
It wasn't until the first light of morning that he began moving, his hulking form moving sluggishly as he pulled his large head off of the ground.
He gave a low whine, his head throbbing from the beating the previous night, other than that he was unharmed.
The wolf gave a loud snarl, the sound echoing through the halls followed by and angry howl as he forced himself to his feet and started pacing the cage, pressing his large body against it hoping to push over the bars.
Even in the padded, sound proof dungeon his howls would have made it through the entire mansion above.

| Alek had crawled into bed besides Chester and slept throughout the night.
In the morning he'd been woken up by a worried Chester as he felt the dried blood on the sheets and seen the severe bruising and swelling of his chest.
As the howls had begun in the morning, Lycan had begun lecturing and healing him.
By the time he had finally gotten around to eating breakfast, it was mid morning.
When he was done with food, he made his way down into the dungeons slowly.

| Lycus had attempted to change Aleksandr's mind and insisted he kill the creature after hearing and seeing what it had done to the man's body, it was feral and needed to be put down.
If an Alpha as strong as him couldn't get the beast in line then there was no hope for it.
He had given his Mate something he had hoped he wouldn't have to use when at the Coven, a syringe filled with liquid silver, it was potent enough to kill the creature with minimal harm, even if he didn't need it, he wouldn't let Alek go down to the dungeon without it.
The Wolf paced, snarling in blind fury as he rammed the cage and paced, trying his best to break out, even having managed to bend the bars of the Elven made cage.

| Alek dropped the syringe to the floor carelessly as soon as he entered the dungeon.
He wasn't going to use it.
If he did have to kill him, he would do it personally. He owed that to any Wolf that he tried to help.
Alek stopped in front of the large cage the Wolf was pacing in.
"Good morning." His voice was soft.
He wanted to calm the Wolf a little.

| Aleksandr's greeting was met with a loud snarl as it lunged at him from behind the bar, his muzzle pushing through the bars and snapping at him, the man just out of his reach.
Saliva dripped from his mouth as he growled, baring his teeth, threatening to tear him apart if he got too close.
After that he went back to his pacing, he pressed himself at the back end of the cage, giving himself as much distance as possible before lunging at the bars, smashing his body against him, causing them to rattle violently under the force of his body.
Had they been made by humans, he would have broken out long ago.

| Alek shifted, moving to lay in front of the length of the cage.
You're old. Do you remember your origin? he asked with a tilt of his head.
Chatting idly at him and asking minor questions would get the Wolf used to conversation, at the very least.
If he was lucky it may draw him back enough to get responses.

| The wolf shook his head as Aleksandr spoke to him, he didn't like his mind being invaded, the human side of him would have understood, if he was still around.
Out!
He howled in his mind, mentally forcing the Alpha out of his head with a shove and blocking his mind off so he couldn't be spoken to again.
He stared down at the other Wolf and snarled, he was strong willed and even stuck in his wolf form he had the mental capacity to keep his mind shut off to others. Not a common trait.

| Alek gave a soft sigh as he was forced out of his mind.
All right, he could play this game.
The man shifted back and laid out on the ground on his side, holding his head up.
"My origin is Ancient Greece. I was a Lycan Slave to an Elven noble Family," he chatted on.

| The Wolf continued to pace, his mind was his own and he wouldn't share it with anyone.
His steps faulted for a moment when the man spoke, a small spark of recognition in his mind before he shook his off and continued to move.
He had to get out of here, survival was his only objective and he couldn't live locked in his cage.

| "You are likely of a similar age. Certainly before the common era."
Alek gave a soft hum. "My sons are from the turn of the era, from what is now known as Southern Island."
He didn't care what he chatted about as long as he spoke. He wanted the Wolf to get used to his voice.
"I am Aleksandr, my sons Aodh and Coilean."

| The man's voice did little to sooth him, he wanted to be free of this place.
The smell of this room assaulted his nose, it smell of alcohol used for cleaning, it made his nose burn, beneath it though was the scent of leather, wood, metal, beyond that, sex.
The smell of sweat was as strong as the scent of alcohol, for a nose so accustomed to nothing but the earthy scent of the woods this place was strange, he didn't like it here.
Again he rammed his body roughly into the bars with a snarl, trying to tune out the man.

| "The Akonito was the Clan that I served under in my youth."
The man hummed, fingers tapping against his flat stomach idly.
"More specifically the Elf Lycustheos. Have you heard of him?" Alek asked, not expecting an answer for obvious reasons.
"He is quite well-known between the Elves and Lycan."

| The wolf paused for a moment, stopping the repetitive ramming of his body against the bars of the cage.
The name rung through his mind and echoed deep into his past, one he had long forgotten.
A deep, low and near silent growl rumbled in his chest, it was a threatening show like the others, this one was laced with deep seeded hatred.
He stared down at the Lycan, his own dark silver eyes physically glowing as rage rolled off of him in waves, his power filling the room and make the air dense and heavy in his fury.

| Shock painted Alek's face as the mood of the room changed.
A slow grin curled his lips as the Wolf's rage beat down around him. Alek gave a low chuckle.
"Ah, so you know Lycus."
The man clucked his tongue. "I'm not surprised. Have you had personal dealings with him or do you just hate him for his dealings against Lycan in general?"

| Aleksandr's chuckling only fueled his anger and he stared to ram his body against the cage harder and faster, panting heavily in his efforts to break out of this place.
If he got out of here be would kill the Elf, but for that he needed to get out of his cage.
This Elven cage...
It only occurred to the wolf then, that this Lycan had Elven cages, immediately he decided that this man was working with them, he too was old and now they had captured him again after his escape.
He opened his mind again and the accusation can flooding freely.
Traitor! Prodóti̱s!
He snarled the words over and over and he smashed himself against the bars, the entire time he refused to break the man's gaze as he stared him down.

| "Prodóti̱?"
Alek gave a soft laugh.
"Eímai pléon prodóti̱ stous lýkous ópo̱s eíste, na stamatí̱sei ti̱n yperi̱fáneiá sas kai na gínei éna apló zó̱o sklávos to énstiktó sas," Alek challenged, his tone still light.

| The beast's chest heaved as he panted heavily, stopping his attack on the bars as his body grew tired, he had been at this for hours now and unlike Aleksandr he was yet to eat.
With a Lycan's metabolism food was needed to keep regular function, a lot of food.
He snarled at those words, the accusation hit hard to a part of him that had laid dormant for far too long.
The Wolf gave another snarled howl but without a pack that the wolf desired above all else he was helpless, no one would come to his aid no matter how much he called out.

| Alek watched the Wolf grow lethargic with his fighting.
He gave a soft hum as his fingers brushed idly over his own stomach.
"Eísai varetheí?" he asked with a small upturn of his lips.
___________ Are you growing tired?

| The beast went rigid at the taunt, he wasn't weak, he wouldn't tire and give up so easily.
The cage was worse for wear, there was no doubt about that, the bars had started the bend outwards but no where near enough for escape to be possible.
He could throw himself against them for weeks before managing to do any decent damage.
Instead of giving in he threw himself at the bars again, focusing his efforts of the most damaged bars as he rammed them with his shoulder.

| "It's no use," Alek murmured, reverting back to English.
It was very very rare he used Greek nowadays. He didn't care for speaking a language that only one other person that he talked to regularly understood.
"They are the best Elven cages that can be made."
The Wolf wasn't going to be escaping easily.
