[C] Lone Wolf Empty
PostSubject: [C] Lone Wolf   [C] Lone Wolf EmptyFri Jun 20, 2014 11:13 pm

His heavy paws thudded against the damp soil, littered with leaves and grass, his breath steamed out of his muzzle, hot and fogged.

Bright silver eyes glowed in the darkness, cutting through the shadows like cold iron.

His body was strong and large, yet he ran through the woods almost unseen, his black fur cloaking him under the cover of night.

He had left a trail of destruction in his wake, having eaten his way through farms all along the country side, taking out unsuspecting livestock as it grew fat and lazy.

The wolf broke through the trees, looking out over the vast woodlands before him as he through his head back in a bestial howl, the sound filled with the loneliness and sorrow of a wolf without a pack.

Alek laid in bed, one arm curled around Chester's sleeping body as he read silently.

He thumbed through the pages slowly, eyes drinking in every word hand written on the page. He found diaries documenting times in war an interesting read. This was one that he had found recently and hadn't yet been able to sit down and read until now.

His gaze paused on the page when he heard the faint sound of a distant howl.

His brows drew together as he closed the book and set it down by his thigh.

It was rare he heard the howl of someone that he didn't know to be in his pack. So close to his territory made him restless. The Wolves of Catania knew not to approach his territory.

He slid from under the hybrid boy, laying Chester out gently as he stretched his bare legs out in front of him.

Alek felt the need to investigate this. He didn't like Wolves not in his pack wandering around in his territory. He was a territorial man.

With one glance back at the sleeping hybrid, Alek pushed open the window and slid out of it, jogging towards the fields.

The wolf didn't have a destination, he simply moved from place to place, never lingering very long in one place.

It was rare that he drew attention to himself, more rare was his desire to howl out like he was.

Something on the breeze made him mournful, he cried out into the darkness, expecting no answer.

Years of wandering in this form made him forget this other one, he hadn't shifted for a long time, he survived as an animal and had let the animal take him over when the man could no longer lead them.

True to his nature he didn't stay in the clearing, instead the animal compelled him to run, lone wolves were seen as a challenge and he could smell an Alpha in these woods.

That thought drew a snarl from him, he did not bow, not anymore, as such he ran, his body sprinting effortlessly through these unfamiliar woods.

It wasn't long before Alek shifted and four large paws beat against the ground.

Easily the biggest Wolf that he'd ever met, Alek stood at over seven foot. The sheer length of his legs propelled him forwards at an incredible speed that few Wolves would be able to match.

He found himself cutting off the Wolf with a low growl.

He didn't appreciate Wolves in his territory and he made sure that this one knew it.

The wolf stopped as his path was cut off by another, he paused for a moment before lowering his head and letting out a feral snarl, his lips pulling back over a row of razor sharp teeth.

A threat, an Alpha, he didn't take well to being growled at.

He began to circle the large wolf, who rivaled his own size, they grew larger as they aged and the threat of a wolf as large and old as himself had this fur on end as he kept his keen eyes on the other.

Alek's silver eyes narrowed curiously as he turned in a slow circle, watching the other Wolf as he was circled.

Socks, he noted idly.

Socks weren't a normal occurrence in Wolf fur patterns. He'd only seen one Wolf before that had had socks in his patterning.

He took a half step forwards, snarling threateningly.

The wolf lowered his body as the other stepped forward, a loud snarl escaping it's muzzle as his body went rigid.

His stance changed and it was clear that he was ready to attack at a moments notice, he wouldn't allow himself to be snuck up on.

The large wolf moved in another circle before darting forward, sinking his fangs into the Alpha's flank before jumping back and circling again.

It was a common technique for wolves, circle, attack, retreat and repeat, he would make the Alpha bleed to weaken him before going in for the kill.

Alek gave a low growl as sharp teeth tore into his side.

He backed off immediately, eyeing the other Wolf silently, just watching him.

His movements were fluid. Far more so than even Alek could manage. He'd let go of himself; completely allowed himself to drop his humanity.

That was even more dangerous than an ordinary lone Wolf.

He stepped back and continued to circle as the other backed off.

He licked the blood from his muzzle the tang spreading over his tongue as a rumble built in his chest, pleased that he had drawn first blood, even if it was a minor wound.

The wolf gave another snarl, warning the other to flee, he was passing through, he had no reason to kill this wolf, but he would not back down.

He was a lone Wolf, he was dominant in his own rite and more than capable to be an Alpha if he were part of a pack, he wouldn't stand down.

Alek didn't heed the Wolf's warning.

He merely stood silently, continuing to watch the older Wolf as he waited for him to attempt another move.

Alek wouldn't be so slow next time. He knew what he was dealing with now.

Energy flowed through him as he geared himself up for this fight.

The wolf's eyes narrowed, he was wary of this foe, he hadn't been evenly matched in a long time.

He growled continuously as he circled, he was a patient hunter, he could wait for his foe to faulter.

He lunged forward again, determined to grasp onto one of his hind legs.

He would immobilize him and set him at a huge disadvantage, a wolf that couldn't move was a dead wolf.

Alek skittered forwards when he was lunged at, avoiding the sharp teeth of the elder Wolf.

He turned swiftly, his teeth ready to sink into the Wolf's neck.

Alek wasn't going to play around with a Wolf this large and old.

Alek was on the offensive for the first time in a long while.

The older wolf ducked his head, he hadn't survived this long without knowing how to protect his throat.

As the Alpha's jaws snapped shut, catching nothing but thin air he tossed his head back with a growl, smacking it against the other's jaw roughly.

He leapt back and got low, letting out a feral snarl as he assessed the other, looking for and opening to attack.

He kept low and ran forward, steering right at the last moment and bashing his body against the Alpha's side to force him to the ground.

Alek grunted when their heads collided.

When the Wolf attacked again, Alek grunted and stumbled, but managed to keep his feet.

Submit.

Alek wasn't someone that enjoyed fighting often.

Even now he didn't want to fight.

Turn back and submit to me. I am the oldest Wolf on Earth. Submit to me and I will be kind.

Submit.

An Alpha's command, it wasn't something any wolf could refuse, when an Alpha commanded wolves obeyed, even those not of his pack.

The Lone Wolf stood tall, shaking off the command as if it was nothing at all.

He looked at the other, their gaze level to one other, instead he gave another snarl, he had no human words for the other, in his mind the only words that ran through it were that of the wolf.

Alpha, threat, kill. Alpha, threat, kill.

He hated hearing the blank words from another Wolf.

Alek gave a soft sigh.

It was rare that he met with a Wolf so incomplete as this. Someone that had completely disregarded such a huge part of themselves.

He'd helped Wolves back from this point, though.

He wanted to be able to do the same with this one.

All at once Alek moved forwards, faster than he was before, more nimble on his large paws as his goal became clear to him.

Instead of going for the obvious attack on his throat again, Alek went for his flank, both attempting to bite into him and push him over.

He wasn't anticipating that speed from the Alpha.

He let out a yelp as he flank was bitten into and he stumbled but managed to stay on his feet.

A snarl ripped through the forest as he pushed to the side, attempting to slam the other wolf into the tree beside them to shake him off.

He wasn't going to allow himself to be bested.

Alek's teeth stayed planted in the other Wolf's side, even as he was knocked into a tree roughly.

He pushed against the ground again, trying to knock the other Wolf to the ground again.

He needed to get the wolf down on his side, then he could shift back and knock him out.

With the Wolf on his side in shock, it should be easy enough to shift back and knock him out quickly. Alek was known for his speed during proper fights.

The wolf snarled and kept knocking the Alpha's head against the tree in an attempt to knock him unconscious.

He wanted to get away from this place, he wasn't usually overly violent, only when he was backed into a corner or threatened.

He snarled and wheeled his head around as he tried to snap at Aleksandr's face.

If he couldn't knock him out, he would at least blind the other wolf.

Alek continued to push as his teeth sank through thick layers of fur and skin.

With their positioning the other Wolf wouldn't be able to snap at his face. He could probably catch some of the scruff on his neck, but he couldn't do a huge amount of damage.

A soft growl sounded as he shoved forwards, still trying hard to push him down to the ground.

With his human mind still intact Aleksandr had the upper hand, he could think through a situation with logic, the wolf however was driven by pure instinct and that instinct told him to bite back even if he couldn't reach.

He snarled and snapped his jaws, catching nothing but fur, the Alpha's pushing, along with the soft, loose ground beneath him had his footing faulting.

The Lone Wolf slipped in the wet grass and fell onto his side, scrambling quickly to try and stand again.

As soon as they hit the floor, Alek shifted back, grabbing the Wolf's fur roughly as he reached up with a clenched fist, intent on beating him around the temple to knock him out.

If he didn't manage this now, he would be fucked.

He had to make this hit.

The wolf snarled as he thrashed, with the Alpha's jaws no long in his flank all he had to do was go on the offensive.

He kicked with his hind legs as the man gripped onto him, trying to knock him back.

He knew that a Lycan in their human form were deadly but they couldn't compete with a Wolf.

The Alpha had lost his edge by shifting like this.

He pushed forward, his jaws open wide, intent on wrapping them around the man's entire torso.

Alek gave an annoyed little tut when he was knocked back.

He was fucked.

The man hardly moved as the Wolf leaned down, intent on crushing his torso.

He was going to have his ribs crushed. Lycus was going to murder him.

But now he had his opening. As the Wolf's jaws enclosed on his body, his arm raised again to knock him hard on the back of the head.

The wolf made a loud grunt as his head was stuck, the blow causing his vision to blur for a moment.

His shook his head to clear it, shaking the man in his jaw like a rag doll when he did.

His jaws bore down until he could taste blood.

He was going to kill this man then leave, it was as simple as that.
