His tongue drifted over his swelling lip. His eyes almost matched with how dark the blue iris had gone.

"Sure thing, sweetheart."

The tab settled, he led the way out, his hand drifted back down to her hip.

"Yours or mine? Mine's only a ten-minute walk."

He guided her through the lamp-lit streets. It wasn't the slums, but the area wasn't well off either. Appartments stood tall and cramped together, paint flaking off them. It certainly wasn't what tourists thought of when they think of the Italian island.

The apartment block he took her to looked like it should have stayed in the seventies.

His apartment was, thank fucking god, a second-floor apartment. The lift was still fucking broke.

He opened the door and cornered her against the wall, his lips on her lips. His hands on her hips.

The door was kicked closed behind him with a bang.

This building was one of the buildings she had taken a look at when she'd moved out of her parents' place, back at eighteen. She had wanted to have some independence, and wanted to see how the other half lived, so to speak.

She'd eventually been persuaded out of it, and had gone for a much nicer apartment in a much nicer part of town, but how incredible was it that they very well could have lived in the same building?

She barely got the time to glance hown the hallway of his place before she was herded back against the wall.

Her back arched, pressing her body against his as her hands found his hair again.

He kissed her long and hard. His breathing was shallow when he pulled back, but he kept his forehead pressed against hers. Even in her heels, he had to lean down.

"Welcome to my shitty apartment."

There was the distinct noise of two people fucking from the apartment above.

"Warm welcome," she commented in an almost breathy tone.

Her hands slid lower, enjoying the feel of his broad shoulder and tight muscles under her hands until her fingers pushed under the waistband of his jeans and her palms found his ass cheeks. She gave a groan of appreciation, and pulled him closer.

Her lips curled into a grin when his fingers searched out the clasp of her bra and came up empty handed.

"Having trouble, abs?" she chuckled against his throat.

Angela loved seeing people struggle to take her bras off.Even some women failed spectacularly at this one.

He pulled back to look down at her, his thick brows drawn into a frown. He swore companies made them more difficult to take off so men like him suffered.

"Yeah. How the fuck do you take that off?"

He wasn't going to make more of a fucking idiot of himself by grasping and pulling at the material, trying to crack the code.

Angela grinned when he conceded defeat, and hooked one leg around one of his, using that as an anchor as she leaned off the wall enough to pull her crop top off, dumping on the floor at her feet.

then her hands found his, drawing them up towards the little red bow in the centre of the lacy black fabric. Guiding his fingertips to move the bow aside, she then left him to it. Behind the bow was the clasp.

Her own hands dropped downwards again, dipping under his shirt and pulling it up his torso slowly, thoroughly enjoying the feel of hi abs while she did.

Adrian let his hands and fingers be guided. His mouth fell apart when the bow was pushed aside.

"Ah. Oh fuck, I see. Haven't seen one of these before."

He would have never fucking figured that out.

His abs quivered and were sucked in as her fingers skimmed over them to push up his shirt, a smile playing on his lips while he unclasped the bra. Her breasts fell into their natural place.

"Fuck!" The curse was muttered, not in Italian, but in English, and her body quivered again.

So that is what happens.

It took him a second to realise what he said, the initial sharp sting subsiding.

His lips quirked up.

"I'm guessing your first language English," he wasn't speaking Italian now, but English. A light Irish accent was embedded in his words. Easily understandable.

"It is," she replied, also in English, thick with a Scottish accent.

"But now," she continued, in Italian this time. One hand dropped from his rib-cage, to press between their snug hips and palm his crotch. "Is not the fucking time to be discussing languages."

Right now she wanted to be pressed against a wall and ravaged.

She didn't want to be talking about first languages.

A low groan sounded from his throat when his crotch was palmed. He rolled his hips forward into the hand.

"I think it's always the perfect fucking time." He didn't revert back into Italian. It was always good speaking in English. Probably why he always liked places where tourists and expats flocked.

A loud yowl came from the top of the bed.

He looked up to his a three-legged, one-eyed, scruffy tabby cat. It hissed.

Not at him.

Probably pissed off at being disturbed and having a stranger in the house. No, not probably. Definitely.

He stretched himself up and over Angela to scoop up the scruffy cat.

"You're such a fucking prissy cunt."

The cat was still yowling, tail flicking side to side, as she was held in Adrian's arms like a baby.

"Angela, Bambi. Bambi, Angela."

Bambi seemed less than amused.

Angela's head dropped back and she slumped against the bed when Adrian pretty much scrambled over her to grab the cat.

She had to admit that the cat was cute in a scrappy way. The missing limb and eye didn't take away from its beauty. The hissing sort of did, but Angela wasn't exactly worried over being hissed at.

"Cute cat. Nice to meet you, Bambi."

Bambi wasn't so happy to meet her.

"One sec. Just going to stop her from adding to her fucking murder count."

He left the room, setting the cat down on her spot on the couch, before coming back into the bedroom, the door closed behind him. Gone for all of about a few seconds.

He settled between her legs, sitting up, he pulled his shirt off. The abs she drooled over stretched out as he lifted his arms above him. The shirt was thrown carelessly to the side. One nipple was pierced. A tattoo spanned across his chest.
