The label gained the reaction Fleck intended. Colour flooded Dick's face and he turned away, jaw clenched.

"I'm not- I don't want to be that. I'm not asking for anything in return, and I never will. Not your money or... whatever"

He crossed his arms.

"It's a gift. And I would pay triple that if I knew that it will make you happy."

He leaned down to wrap one arm around Dick, holding him close. His lips pressed to Dick's cheek.

"Thank you, for making the offer, but I'll never feel comfortable with you spending that much money on me."

He didn't loosen up in Fleck's embrace, arms still pointedly crossed.

"Fine, then."

One way or another, he was going to get Fleck a tattoo.

"Stop plotting," Fleck muttered wit a grin.

He'd won for now, but Dick's mind was racing a mile a minute. He could hear it going. It would have been impressive if he didn't know Dick was plotting against him.

"I'm going to get a drink. Want one?"

"I'm not."

His red cheeks said otherwise.

The biggest problem he was facing was getting the pictures off the phone without it look suspicious.

He could just draw up some sketches and let the tattoo artist iron it out - they were the professionals after all.

"Huh? Oh, sure."

He stood up, taking his sketchbook with him, and placed a kiss on Fleck's check. A little apology for being short with him.

"Bull," came the simple reply.

He knew Dick well enough by now to know when his mind was going overboard. Right now was one of those times.

He wrapped an arm around Dick's shoulders, pressing a kiss to his temple.
