[C] Close Call

It was rare that kissing meant one of them wasn't left with a bleeding lip or tongue.

The tender kiss and caresses were just what he needed right now, though he couldn't wait until they could be rough again.

His hand reached up and stroked through Lyo's knotted hair, giving it a gentle tug, the man looked like shit.

Maks pointed to the bathroom, instructing Lyo to take a shower.

He knew that once they got home he'd hover even more since there wouldn't be doctors and nurses around, he wanted the man to take this chance while he had it.

After all, he wasn't going any where and he'd happily watch through the open door.

He pulled back when his hair was tugged, then looked sheepish as he was instructed to go to the bathroom.

"Am I that ripe?" He shove his nose against his pit and sniffed, then cringed. "All right, I'm gone. Don't do anything stupid in the five minutes I'm gone."

He pressed a kiss to Maks' lips again before padding to the bathroom.

Yeah, he did smell bad. Which was not common for Lyo, usually he groomed himself quite well.

Maks gave him a innocent little smile as he was kissed, he'd lay right here and behave himself while his boyfriend showered.

Though a little perving would take place.

He left the door open without thought. They always did it. Ever since Maks had taken to spending every waking moment at his when his mother wasn't in the house, they'd never once closed the bathroom door.

Somtimes Lyo wondered why their bathroom even had a door.

He stripped of his jeans and boxers, then stepped under the spray of water, his back to Maks.

All his dressings were getting wet, but there was dressing in the room so he could change them when he got out.

Maks just sat up a little and watched Lyo.

Even if they couldn't have sex he'd enjoy just watching the man's body.

His gaze followed the path of gauze over his body, trying to figure out how he got each one.

His mind flicked to the guy that had tried to kill him, he wondered what happened to him...actually...no he didn't want to know what Lyo had done to him.

Lyo had quite a few pieces of wet gause hanging off his body when he finally stepped out of the shower, looking and feeling a lot cleaner.

Sleep and a shower in one day. That hadn't happened in the last few days. He was being spoiled now Maks was awake.

He patted himself dry with a towel, pulling off strips of gause and being careful drying each wound.

The one on his hip still stunk and he hissed as he cleaned around it. "Fucking student doctors," he grunted softly as he yanked up his boxers and walked towards his chair.

He made his detour to the supplies before finally settling in his chair.

"Sexy."

He mouthed as Lyo sat down, granted the weeping infected wound wasn't pretty to look at but the rest of Lyo was, cuts and all.

Maks settled down and rolled onto his side, relaxing as he watched the man tended to his cuts.

There was something comforting about seeing how capable Lyo was with these sorts of things.

He shuffled forward so when Lyo decided to come to bed there was plenty of space behind him, he doubted he would be awake much longer.

He was methodical with cleaning the wounds, starting at the cut on his thigh and working upwards, skipping his hip wound. That little gem would be saved until last.

He hissed as he cleaned out the wound, trying to flush as much puss as possible.

"You get that infected and I'll kill you," he grunted softly at Maks as he carefully dried the wound and dressed it.

"I'm not suited to playing doctor."

Maks was avoiding an infection at all costs, he hated being unwell and sore.

The sooner he was feeling better the sooner they could forget about all of this.

He gave a small yawn, it hurt but he relaxed against the bed, bundling himself up in the covers again.

Lyo sat back and watched as Maks curled up and relaxed into sleep.

He smiled as he watched his boyfriend's face relax.

He was so relieved Maks was alive and well. He didn't know what he'd do if Maks had died during that fight.

Maks wasn't going anywhere, they'd be more careful in fights from now on, he wasn't going to let anyone sneak up on him again.

The man drifted into a deep sleep fairly quickly, right now he needed rest, his body would heal and soon enough they'd be back to normal.
