[C] Mortal Kombat

Amr wrapped it carefully but firmly. He did not want it getting loose and having blood go everywhere with all his hard work to waste.

"That should do it." He gave the bandage a final tug.

"And if you need to more bandages, I'v got you covered." He stretched his shirt, showing the frayed ends.

When the man let go of his fingers, he pulled it to his chest, holding his hand gently.

He looked up at the man through his lashes.

"Thank you," he murmured softly.

Face tinting red, he turned looked away from the boy again, over to the where the smoothie was going to be prepared.

"You're welcome."

He nodded over to his line of sight.

"You can finish off your smoothie now."

The elf turned back to his coffee, taking a gulp from it now that it has considerably cooled down.

The boy took a step forwards. He rested his hands on the man's shoulders, being careful to not to irritate his cut finger. He pushed himself to the tips of his toes and laid a kiss to the man's cheek.

Then his face flushed red and he darted off towards his half-prepared smoothie, squeaking a soft 'thanks' under his breath.

Ti was far more careful this time around.

He didn't want to cut another slice of his finger off.

His face darkened as he felt lips press against his cheek. It took him a moment to process, fingers gently scratching the spot Ti kissed.

"You're welcome." Realising he spoke quickly in Arabic, he quickly switched to English. "Welcome."

He took another couple of gulps of coffee, draining the cup. Flicking the switch on the kettle again, he decided on another. Keep himself busy rather then dwelling on his tingling cheek and the other in the room.

Smartly pulling the knife away from his finger, he turned his gaze over his shoulder at the unfamiliar word.

When the man translated it, he smiled brightly up at him before returning to cutting up his banana.

Not too long after, the boy was scraping the cut and mushed up banana into a blender. He flit off to the fridge to get a bottle of milk, returning to top the blender up with milk.

He fit the lid onto the blender and pressed the button. He smiled as the sound of the blades mushing up the banana filled the kitchen.

Soon he'd have a delicious smoothie.

He tended to making his new coffee as Ti continued on with his smoothie.

There was no milk left, so he decided on just having black coffee, rather then searching through the fridge.

Leaning on the counter, waiting for the kettle to click, he dug his hand into his pocket to grab his phone.

Shit.

He patted himself down trying to find it. He bit his lip, scanning the counters in case he left it there. He must of left it in the games room. Either on the counter or it fell out his pocket.

The kettle finally finished boiling and he poured it into his cup. Turning, he checked on Ti to see if his smoothie was finished.

When Amr looked around at him, Ti was just pushing a straw into the thick creamy yellow coloured drink.

He purred happily as his lips enclosed around the tip of a straw and he sucked down a mouthful. His tongue ran over his lips, wetting them as he lifted the glass form the counter.

Ti smiled brightly at Amr as he padded forwards.

"Ready to go back?"

"Okay, lets go."

He was out the door before he finished his sentence.

Speed walking down the coridor, not checking to see if Ti was following him, he quickly got back to the games room. Still in it's messy glory.

He let out a breath of air, shoulders sagging.

There it was on the couch. It must of fell out of his pocket.

"I will never leave you again." He said, picking it up.

Falling down on the couch in relief, he waited for Ti before starting the film up again. He felt a little bad running off without warning. But it was important.

The boy watched Amr speed off, trying to keep up with his fast pace but failing as he also tried not to spill his smoothie. He stared at the man's back with sad eyes as he watched him disappear down the hall.

When Ti finally got to the games room, he sat down on the opposite side of the couch to Amr.

He his his pout behind a sip of his smoothie.

Seeing the other man walk into the room, he lifted his mobile, shaking it.

"I forgot it."

He felt felt a little guilty seeing the pout on the blonds face. But his mobile was important. And he did not want to leave it on it's own for too long, in case some someone found it.

Remembering it buzzing earlier, he opened the message.

From his brother of course. He rolled his eyes a little, wondering if his brother got them or was still waiting for him to get them for him.

Ti's eyes flickered down to the phone when it was held up.

That didn't stop him from pouting, though. He hadn't been too happy when Amr had just run off without any reason.

Ti sunk into the couch, sipping at his smoothie again.

Room

Another text came through a moment later

He stared down at the the text, then up at Ti, and back down to the text again.

Scratching his cheek he felt a little caught. He wanted to stay with Ti, but he also want to check up on his brother.

He fidgeted a little glancing, between the two again.

He was sure he would see Ti again, he enjoyed his company. Besides, it would give him time to get over this dumb thing he had for him.

"I need to see my brother. Could I give you my number or something? In case you want to meet up again?"

His voice went lightly quieter and more mumbled as he went on, finding it difficult to keep eye contact with him.

The boy nodded.

He rifled through his pocket to grab his phone and holding it out to Amr.

His eyes didn't raise to meet the man's as soon as he too his phone, he dropped his hand in his lap.

He put the boy's number into his phone before handing it back.

Ti looked upset, even someone with a lack of social understanding could understand that.

His guilt set in deeper. He did not want to upset the Ti, but he wanted to check and see his brother.

The boy's gaze turned down to his phone when it was handed back to him.

When he got the message he opened it up and read it.

His lips twitched a little, pulling into a little ghost of a smile.

He tried to hide it. He was supposed to be upset. Amr had just run off without an explanation.

Ah, at least he was smilling. That was good.

He collected a few of his bits - mostly the stuff that was worth money. The other stuff was replaceable. Besides he will probably be back here later or tomorrow.

"I will text you later, yeah?"

The boy's eyes flickered up to the Arabic man, gazing up at him through his thick lashes.

"Yeah, I'll see you later."

He couldn't be mad or upset for long. Ti didn't have an angry bone in his body.

He got his brother's dates, feed him, attempted to quiz him on where he has been lately.

Ti had spent a little more time in the games room before wandering off.

He was down at the beach when he got that text.

That was his generic username for just about everything ever.

The boy positioned himself with his back to the sea and the moon and took a selfie of his profile staring up at the moon with the sea over his shoulder.

Smile still in place he lifted the camera and took a selfie of himself, with is brother unaware in the background, his back to the camera.
