"To the coffee."

It has been over three hours since his last one. That should be illegal.

Unable to stop the urge to fluff up the blond hair even more, he made his way out of the games room and to the kitchen.

Ti pouted when his hair was ruffled further.

He followed after Amr, though, padding forwards so he could grip the man's hand as they walked down the hall.

To the coffee.

Feeling another hand slip between his, he looked down at the blond in surprise. He let it be though. It was oddly pleasant, reminded him back to when he was younger.

Scratching his warm face, he turned down the corridor until they reached the kitchen.

Hands still joined he opened the kitchen door.

Ti didn't utter a word as they walked, but his grip on the man's hand never wavered.

Amr's hand was larger than his. Warm, with only a little amount of sweat. Not that Ti could feel that sweat. His hands were quite clammy themselves.

The boy's eyes flickered up to Amr when they entered the kitchen.

"I don't know where they keep the coffee here."

"Here."

It had been the first thing he looked for when he went into the kitchen. A little difficult to find with the amount of storage space.

"Could you boil some water?"

He searched through a few more of the cupboards, trying to remember where the mugs were.

The boy nodded, his hand reluctantly slipping from Amr's.

He padded over to the kettle and checked it for water before taking it over to the sink to fill it.

He set it back on its cradle and flicked it on, leaning against the counter as he waited for it to boil.

"Do you know where the syrup is?" he asked, pushing off the counter.

Ti liked his coffee sickly sweet with a mix of both sugar and syrup.

Finally finding the mugs, he grabbed two. One flowery and slightly chipped, the other plain black. He placed them next to the kettle.

"Around here somewhere, could you grab some milk?."

He began looking around the cupboards again before finding a couple. He picked up both, caramel and hazelnut.

"Here."

Now that Ti has mentioned it, he thinks he will have some syrup with his. Probably hazelnut.

The boy nodded and padded off towards the fridge to grab the milk.

He knew where the milk and the cereal were, at least. That was really all he needed to know the location of. When Rai wasn't cooking or ordering take-in, he just ate cereal.

He could cook, he was just kinda lazy.

Ti set down the milk next to the mugs.

"Thanks."

Amr spooned two heap full's of coffee into the black mug. He had a vague feeling that Ti would like the flowery one. Though, he could be wrong.

Leaning against the counter, he waited for the kettle to boil.

Ti didn't really mind what mug he had. As long as he could drink from it, he was happy.

The boy spooned one spoon of coffee into his own mug and leaned against the counter, his gaze on the kettle as he waited for it to boil.

"How old are you?" the boy asked, eyes flickering up to the Elf.

"Twenty eight."

While seen as a young adult in a human's eye, he knew he was seen nothing more than a baby in some of the older supernaturals eyes. He couldn't blame them. The amount of knowledge and experience they have is nothing on him. If he reaches some old age, he will probably think the same.

"Yourself?"

Twenty eight. Nine years older than him. He hadn't expected that.

And now he worried a little. Why would a twenty eight year old want to hang around with someone as young as him?

"Nineteen," he murmured softly.

Still such a baby.

it was because he is a loser

"Oh."

He shrugged.

He wasn't too bothered or surprised. At least he wouldn't seem the baby out of the two of them. Though he did sort of expect him to be younger or about his age.

"When is your birthday then?"

The kettle whistled and the switch clicked. He turned and put some water in his mug, the strong scent of coffee emitting. His favourite smell.

"June."

A few months away yet.

In just a few months, he'd be twenty. It was a birthday he was looking forward to. He was tired of being lumped with younger teenagers and always downed because of it.

He hummed.

A splash of milk and syrup was added to his coffee and he stirred. Perfect. He knew how to make a great coffee.

"Any plans?"

The boy shook his head as he added sugar and syrup to his own coffee so it was just a sweet mess.

"No. I'll probably just sit an watch a movie with Rai or something."

His birthday wasn't a huge deal. His family had never made a huge deal out of it.

That was a lot of sugar. He was wondering if he should keep that down for reference.

He nodded vigorously to Ti's reply, getting the thought of 'would be nice if I was there too' out of his head.

Amr never did much for his birthday either, after his mother died. With just him and his brother, they never really did much. An exchange of a present, maybe a takeaway.

Ti probably wouldn't even tell Rai it was his birthday. He'd just ask her to watch a movie with him.

Making a big deal out of it would probably make the boy feel awkward.

Ti lifted his mug and sipped it with a soft purr of contentment. That was good. Sickly sweet but very, very good.

Picking up his own mug, he took a sip.

Fucking amazing.

"Back to the games room?"

Before he let Ti reply, he started to head back. He was never one to stand around in kitchens and chat.

Usually Ti was the opposite. He liked leaning against the kitchen counter and chatting with people idly over a cup of coffee. It was nice.

But when Amr made his way to the door, Ti followed behind quickly.

He padded alongside the man as they headed back towards the games room again.

Leaving a new mess behind he returned to the old one. He forgot how mush of a state it was in.

The PS2 still on, their DS's still out. Multiple packets of food and cups were left lying about. All well, it was normally tidy the next morning.

He sat down on the couch in front of the TV, leaving enough space for Ti to join him.

"Want to watch a film?"

The boy moved to take a seat besides Amr. His legs curled under him comfortably as he sipped at his coffee.

The nodded with a little smile.

"What movie do you want to watch?"

What sorts of movies did Amr like?

He shrugged.

"I don't mind."

He was pretty easy going with films - never too fussed with what he was watching. Obviously he had his faves - a mixture of Disney films, action films and a few others - but he never insisted having to watch them.

"Your call."

"Have you seen The Black Swan?"

It was a really weird film but Ti loved it. He loved films that messed with the mind like that one did.

And it was about ballet, which was definitely an added bonus.

The boy's blue eyes turned up to Amr hopefully.

How could he say no to those eyes? Not that he would of said no in the first place.

"Sure, that will do."

He had watched it a couple of times before. He enjoyed it - it was just heavy watching. He tended to go for the more easier watching films.
