Long Time No See

Damien hummed cheerfully under his breath as he made his way back to the room. It had been a productive day at work today. Lots of money made, and all good designs. He always hated it when customers opted for a trashy tattoo design. It made him look bad as a tattoo artist.

His eyebrows raised in mild surprise as he opened the door to see Zakhar knelt down as he set up Coilean's cage.

"They always come crawling back." he chuckled lightly, giving the man's backside a playful half-kick.

His hand skimmed Coilean's bright hair as he jumped up on top of the metal structure, legs swinging.

"Just couldn't keep away, huh? Can't say I blame you. I am pretty hot."

Zakhar's eyes flickered up for a moment when the door opened.

Coilean gazed up curiously just the same, cocking his head to the side, long ginger hair slipping over his shoulder and onto the floor. Zakhar'd have to tie his hair up soon. Having to wash it all the time because it got a load of shit in it from being dragged around on the floor all the time definitely wasn't something he was planning on doing.

The Rus grinned at the younger Lycan over his shoulder when he kicked his backside.

"You know it."

The hound leaned into the gentle touch of his hair, eyes sliding shut. He liked affection and being fussed over by new people felt good.

"Just couldn't resist you. If you break the cage you're rebuilding it," he warned when Damien jumped up onto it. This wasn't an Elven cage. Just an ordinary cage form a pet store. Easily breakable.

"C'mon, I won't break it. I've got a great figure, been working out and everything. No spare tyre here."

He lifted his t-shirt, slapping his abs with a grin.

Partly to show off his abs, but also his new tattoo, a blue chinese dragon which appeared just above his belt.

It had been a difficult one. Doing his arms was one thing, but tattooing his own hipbone was quite another. He had had to lie down on his bed and try not to let his concentration break from the pain. Somehow, though, it had come out quite good.

"But pet shop? You cheapskate. Would have thought you of all people would buy specialist-made stuff for play."

He lit up a cigarette, taking a long drag before letting the smoke go, blowing some playfully into the elder lycan's face.

He barely spared a glance at the younger man's muscular stomach.

"Getting fat there, aren't you?" Bullshit he was. Damien was thin. Shorter and thinner than him. Zakhar had a stocky muscular build. Damien was built slim.

The new tattoo gracing his skin looked good, too. How many tattoos was that now?

Zak tilted his head towards the oldest Lycan sat silently staring out the window.

"He's two thousand. He'd break any cage I could afford even from a specialist." He wasn't made of money. He hadn't been smart and invested for seven hundred years like smarter people did. He was rich by human standards but was still fairly short on cash when it came to affording Elven gear.

This would make do. If Coilean behaved then the cage would last long enough.

He shook his head a little, grinning as he wafted the smoke out of his face. "I've missed you like a hole in the head." He had actually missed the man. He was young and laid back and enjoyed a good laugh.

Talking to him could be fun.

He snorted with a roll of his eyes, taking no offence. The American was hot, and knew it, too. "That's coming from you, old man? Getting a bit difficult to exercise with your zimmerframe, I imagine?"

His foot tapped the elder lycan's stomach, eyes gleaming in amusement.

His lips pursed in a low whistle. 2000? That was a lot.

"And there was me thinking you were an old fogie."

His eyes followed the lycan thoughtfully. He'd be interested in inking Coilean, for experiment's sake. Coilean would have a far faster healing rate for one. It would also be interesting to see if he bled as easily as others.

"Yeah, me too. Been a bit strapped for cash recently, you're one of my regulars." He quirked a grin.

But in truth, he had missed the man himself, not just his money. Evgeni and him didn't get along, and it had been a bit lonely in here. Well, on the few days when he hadn't been off fucking Jace.

"Between my zimmer frame and white cane I just find it took difficult now," he replied with a snort.

Picking on both his age and his blindness in one sitting. He was in a surprisingly good mood. Talking to other people after losing Belial and Asher was nice.

The Rus smirked. "Yes, he is a lot older than me. if I'm old enough to need a zimmer frame, he's a fossil." Zakhar reached back to stroke the top of Coilean's head with an affectionate smile.

He was old but he still acted a lot like a puppy. He liked that in the Irishman.

"Just want me for my money," he tutted.

Zak pushed the hound's bed into the cage and set up his currently empty bowls on the floor before shuffling over to him, unclipping his leash and grinning as the hound pounced at him, licking at his neck.

"Not to mention the difficulty in overcoming your weight problem of course." His tongue poked out a fraction between his teeth cheekily.

He laughed heartily as Coilean pounced on Zakhar, ruffling his hair.

"Go on boy, get him!"

He had always wanted a pet dog, and while it still felt a little odd treating a human like an animal, it wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

"I sound like a real catch," he snorted dryly.

Old, blind and fat. Who wouldn't go for him with a wonderful description like that. He'd just be beating people away from him.

Zakhar snorted softly.

"See him off, Lean."

The hound gave a yap and pounced at the youngest Lycan, his tail swinging out behind him like it was wagging.

"Well, we can't all be like me." Damien grinned, flicking his hair back in mock vanity.

It wasn't that he meant the insults. Half of the time, he didn't even mean the vanity. It was a persona that was fun to put on, and easy to uphold.

He let out a noise of half-hearted protest as the Pet knocked him to the floor, batting at him with one hand.

"Bad dog! Bad dog!"

"I think I'm glad for that."

If everyone was like Damien it'd drive him insane.

But it'd also be fun at times. Damien, though he could be vain as Hell, was a fun person to hang around with. He joked and jibed. He was just overall fun.

Zakhar laughed as Lean, in a truly affectionate manner, began licking at Damien's face.

"Who's a good boy?" he crooned, stroking Coilean's back as he bathed Damien in affection (and saliva).

"No you're not, everyone would be as hot as me. I'd bang myself in a second-AH!"

He pulled a face as his cheek was drenched in spit. Eww. It wasn't pleasant when dogs did it, and humans had far wetter tongues.

In revenge, he gave a long, wet lick up the Pet's cheek, pulling back with a smirk.

"There. Now how'd you like that?"

"I don't want to know what you do in your free time, thank you very much."

Yes, the idea of watching Damien beat off wasn't terrible - nor was the idea of helping him along with that - but he wouldn't let Damien know that. He'd just inflate the man's ego even more.

There was no way he was going that.

Lean gave a loud yap in response, his tongue laving over Damien's cheek again.

Licking each other was a common sign of affection between older Lycan. Even if he hadn't become a Pet, he'd have still found that an affectionate gesture.

"Never had you pegged as a prude, Zakhar. And I have to say, the act's not convincing."

His hand slid down his chest to grip himself through his jeans for a moment.

"We all know you want me, don't even try to deny it."

He withdrew his hand again, leaning back with a self-satisfied smirk. Which quickly turned into a grimace as a slimy wet tongue laved over his cheek again.

It may have been a sign of affection amongst older lycans, but he was young, and still very much in a human mindset. Saliva was gross. End of.

He shrugged.

He wasn't prude material. Never would be. He was just too... un-prude-ish to be a prude.

"I don't have to be a prude to not want to know what gets you off."

He snorted softly when Damien grimaced. "Don't like puppies, Damien? He's a sweet pup." Lean just wanted love and lots of it.

He clicked his tongue. "Lean, here."

The hound bound over to him and sat in front of him.

Zak stroked the top of his head with a little smile.

"I like puppies well enough, I just like my face dry."

He shifted over to pet the Puppy, fingers scratching behind his ears and down the back of his neck gently.

"I'm sorry. If you're good, I'll take you out to play later, shall I?"

His hand slipped inside his pocket, pulling out a rubber ball. It had come as a free prize the last time the circus had been in town, and he had almost forgotten he had it. Seems it would come in useful now.

"Who cares about dry faces?"

A bit of spit wasn't going to do any harm to him. Damien was just being a baby.

Coilean perked up and gave a yap when Damien held up the ball. Fetch. Fetch fetch fetch. He loved that game.

The oldest Lycan gave another yap, wriggling in place in his excitement.

"Good boy." he cooed softly, scratching the Pet behind his ears again.

Tossing the ball up in the air, he caught it before throwing it swiftly across the room, trying not to break anything.

It would be easier if they went outside. More room for Coilean to run.

"Wanna go outside? Bit cramped in here."

Coilean chased after the ball, colliding with the wall with a loud thump before padding back with the ball in his mouth.

He dropped it in front of Damien and gave a yap.

Zak looked around. "I've got a lot to unpack. You take him out and play."

Coilean would be good for Damien. It would be good training for him, too. Being around other people like this.

He shrugged. Shame. It was a while since he had seen Zakhar and would have been good to catch up a bit more. Oh well.

"My presence is clearly too much joy for you to handle. I judge you not, mere mortal."

Picking up the ball, he waved it in front of the Pet teasingly with a grin.

"Your Master's being a pain in the ass, so come outside and I'll play with you, yeah?"

Scratching behind the redhead's ear, he walked out of the door, giving one final salute to the elder lycan.

"Catch you later."
