Unhappy Master and Sulking Hound

His lips curled upwards when Tuzik licked at his fingers.

"Just a little longer," he promised, eyes straying down to the Hound as he continued to stroke him gently.

Not long after his promise, he pushed off the counter to serve the food out.

Steak, chips, parsnips and carrots. A meal that he adored. One that Tuzik wouldn't be all that pleased with. Tuz like meat; having to eat other things with the steak wouldn't make him very happy.

He set both full plates down on the table and took a seat.

Tuzik nudged his chair out with his muzzle and crawled awkwardly onto it, sitting with his feet propped up on the chair and his knees against his chest.

He pawed at his plate to pull it closer, eying the vegetables on the plate suspiciously before his tongue lapped out over the steak with a purr.

"Thank you."

He muttered, a smile spreading across his face, he may be a dog but Alyosha had taught him basic manners at least.

Alyosha gave a nod and a little smile. He was learning well with manners. That was an incredibly good thing.

Alyosha cut into his steak and speared a few chips onto his fork along with the steak.

"You're welcome. Now tuck in before it gets cold."

His eyes flickered up to the Hound. "You have to eat all on plate." He wouldn't be allowed to leave the table until he had eaten everything.

The Hound whined softly as he was told to eat everything on his plate, Alyosha had put so many vegetables on there.

"Not on plate."

Tuzik then proceeded to knock the carrots and parsnips off of his plate with his nose and biting into the steak eagerly, easily tearing off a chunk and eating it.

A purr rumbled in his chest as he leaned down and bit into the steak again.

Alyosha arched a brow.

Being a smart ass, was he? All right then.

"If you do not eat all I gave you, no new books." A cruel thing to do, perhaps, but it would get him to eat everything he had given him without too much of a fight.

"Is shame, really. I saw very good book for you while out. Was going to get it tomorrow. But if you don't eat..." He trailed off, shrugging carelessly as he popped a parsnip in his mouth.

He whimpered as he looked up at the man, chewing the large mouthful of steak and swallowing it.

If he didn't it eat the yucky bits then there would be no more books to read and add to his pile.

He looked at Alyosha with sad eyes as he leaned down as picked up the piece of carrot and ate it grudgingly.

He then proceeded to eat everything he had knocked off his plate before going back to the meat and potatoes, they were the one vegetable he actually liked.

"Tuzik wants go place of books."

He replied licking the mess off of his lips. Alyosha always went out then came back with books and other fun things, he wanted to see where he got the all from.

Alyosha didn't relent when the Hound gave him a sad stare.

There were times when he needed to be firm with Tuzik. He had made all this food for him so he expected it to be eaten. if it wasn't, he'd get a punishment.

"Good boy," he praised when he began eating the vegetables he had been told to eat.

It seemed his need for books was more than his his hatred for vegetables.

"If you're good, I'll take you next week."

"I be good."

He nodded softly as he continued to eat his meal, happier now that the vegetables he didn't like were gone.

Tuzik really wanted to go to the store with Alyosha, he could imagine shelves covered with the bright coloured books.

So if there was a chance of him going then he would be on his best behaviour, even if he had to eat his vegetables, keep his clothes on and not chew on Lyo's clothes and belongings.

"Good boy."

He smiled a little. "Maybe if you're extra good for the rest of the week, I'll buy you two books when we go."

There was nothing wrong with giving him a little extra motivation for being good for the entire week.

He cut off another chunk of steak and chewed it slowly with a low purr.

He gave a happy whine as he was praised and tempted with the promise of another book if he was good.

The hound really was going to try his very hardest to be on his best behaviour so that Alyosha would be happy with him and take him to the store.

Tuzik couldn't wait for next week, he hadn't been allowed beyond the mansion fences, he roamed around the woods and the gardens, the grounds were big enough that he didn't feel restricted at all but he hadn't been into town yet.

The Necromancer smiled as he chewed on his last parsnip.

He swallowed and stood, picking up his plate and cutlery, padding over to the sink to wash up.

Alyosha had learned very quickly that the kitchen was to stay clean at all times or all Hell would break loose. The kitchen was perhaps the most sacred place in the mansion. If anyone left it too messy, they'd get a fate worse than death.

The looked at the Hound over his shoulder as he finished up his own meal.

Tuzik chewed his last piece of steak with a purr, lapping up the remaining crumbs and juices off the plate until it looked completely clean.

He gripped the edge of it in his mouth and skillfully padded back over to the sink, kneeling at Alyosha's feet and nudging the plate against his leg for him to take.

Thankfully despite the number of times he had carried plates in his mouth he was yet to drop a single one.

"Thank you, Tuz."

He took the plate from the Hound's mouth, dropping it in the bowl and reaching down to pat Tuzik's head

The plates were cleaned and put away quickly.

"Shall we go watch movie?"

He still wanted to just lay around with Tuz for the rest of the night. Some much needed quality time for the two of them.

He rubbed his head up against the man's leg, licking and nibbling his fingers playfully as Alyosha tried to pat him.

"Moobi."

He replied with a nod, he liked movies, they were fun to watch and he liked all genres, even if he didn't understand all the words he could usually follow along with the story well enough from the pictures.

Plus more often than not he would end up falling asleep in the Necromancer's lap.

"All right then. Let's go watch."

He guided the Hound through the halls and back into their bedroom. One of the first things Alyosha had bought for himself when he came here was a cheap TV and DVD player. It was something for him to do when he was bored and he had a large amount of DVDs stacked next to the player.

He rifled through them with a soft hum.

What to play, what to play...

Eventually he held up a case to seek Tuzik's approval. Disney's Robin Hood. He had bought a large amount of children's DVDs recently for Tuzik. He seemed to enjoy them.

And he'd admit that some of them weren't half bad.

When they got back into the room Tuzik wiggled out of his t-shirt and managed to get his pants off, he picked them up in his mouth and plopped them in the clothes basket before scampering onto the bed and making himself comfortable as Lyo chose a movie.

He glanced over the case and immediately took to the characters on the cover, nodding enthusiastically.

The hound moved out of the way, allowing space for Alyosha to get in.

"Good boy," he murmured as Tuzik placed the clothes in the wash basket. He got annoyed when clothes were left everywhere.

He set up the movie then crawled into bed with the Hound.

The Necromancer leaned back against the headboard, reaching out to stroke Tuzik's head and shoulders gently.

A soft hum sounded as he watched the adverts.

Alyosha made it very clear what he was allowed to do and what he wasn't allowed to do, the Necromancer pulled him out of Hell so he did his best to make the man happy, granted he messed up sometimes.

The Hound sprawled out on the bed next to him, laying his head on the man's lap and purring softly as the man's hand ran over his marked skin.

His eyes moved from his Master and turned to the television as the screen lit up.

Lyo ran a hand through his dirty blond hair as he wriggled a bit, making himself comfortable against the headboard.

He gave a little smile as he continued stroking Tuz's hair and skin.

This was nice. just being able to lie together and watch a movie was relaxing.

There was no need to do anything at all. He loved it.

He rubbed his head softly against Alyosha's stomach as he nestled in closer.

It was funny that he had only summoned the Hound accidentally a mere month ago and already Tuzik's entire life revolved around him.

He gave a small yawn, his arms wrapping around the man's waist as he curled in close against him.
