He replied, running his hand through the Elf's hair, letting the gold locks slide though his fingers.

Aurick had raised Fabian to be free and everyone's equal, seeing him put into servitude had been painful to see but that was no longer the case and he was glad about it.

This was definitely the best way he had ever been woken from his sleep before, nothing else even came close.
