PostSubject: Fixing A Smudge   Fixing A Smudge EmptyThu Sep 20, 2012 9:17 pm

Fabian laid sprawled out on a large bench, holding up a small compact as he fixed his eye liner with a tut.

He didn't know what he had done, but he had managed to smudge it and it looked terrible. He had noticed when he had passed the the courtyard and caught sight of the unsightly black smudge in his reflection on the glass.

The Elf applied the black make up carefully, staring intently at the mirror to make sure he didn't screw up.

"How terrible. You've been wearing make up for decades and you still mess up," he scolded himself gently.

PostSubject: Re: Fixing A Smudge   Fixing A Smudge EmptyThu Sep 20, 2012 9:32 pm

Evgeni stirred from his resting place on the lawn, ears pricking up as he heard a voice coming from across the courtyard. The wolf's nose twitched. Elf. He rose from his sitting place to check it out, wincing a little as he did so.

Zakhar certainly hadn't gone easy on him the other night, and his wolf form was the only way that people couldn't see the marks.

If he believed in a God, he would have thanked Him for fur.

He rustled through the bushes, gravitating towards the sound of the man's voice, until he came across the young elf. Young. Naive. Presumably vain, from the makeup in his hand. Seemed like easy game. Maybe it would be a bit too easy though. But he was bored.

Picking on someone seemed like a good idea.

The wolf continued to stalk his prey as he tried to pick a good time to emerge.

He clicked his tongue, frowning a little as he tried to make the line as straight as possible.

It was easier said than done trying to fix his make up in this tiny little mirror with only one hand.

"There we go, don't you look beautiful?" he crooned after he had finished and admired himself for a few moments.

Fabian began the process of packing up all his make up and the mirror.

PostSubject: Re: Fixing A Smudge   Fixing A Smudge EmptyFri Sep 21, 2012 4:13 am

The wolf let out a loud snort of amusement at the man's cooing to himself.

He had been right. Definitely vain. Evgeni had met some vain men in his time, but none that cooed to themselves as they did their makeup. Personally, he would never wear makeup. Without exception.

The wolf shifted in the bushes as the man began to pack away, tail swishing.

What would be the best way to go about this? Going out as a wolf would be unsubtle and a little too threatening at first. He preferred to build up the tension rather than rushing into things. But going out as a naked man would be almost laughable, especially given his...er, tender state at the moment.

His tail swished, making the leaves rustle in the bushes.

The Elf looked up curiously when leaves rustled.

There wasn't a breeze this evening so it definitely wasn't the weather that had caused the rustling.

So who was out here with him?

"Hello?" he called out, green eyes flickering over what he could see of the courtyard cautiously. Who was there? Were they dangerous?

He hoped not.

Evgeni padded out of the bushes, shifting into his human form as he approached the man, hopping onto the table with a grin.

"Hello there."

This one was... now he had a chance to see... kind of pretty. He'd definitely have fun bullying this one.

A purr rumbled in his chest as he moved to circle the man, a finger trailing down Fabian's jaw. His eyes took in everything about the man, watching for flinches and reactions. He wanted to absorb every little detail to be able to torture this one as best as possible.

His eyes flickered over the man, jerking upwards with a faint blush when his eyes caught what was below the non-existent belt.

Nakedness never bothered him when it was women or Rick. But other men...

The Elf shifted back a little when the man purred, flinching when a finger trailed over his jaw. What...What was he doing?

His tongue darted over his lower lip nervously, eyes flickering up to follow the man's path as he circled around him, his body tensing up slowly.

He wanted assert his dominance since Zakhar had made him submit the other day, and, as would chance have it, Fabian had struck (un)lucky.

The elder lycan smirked as the boy shied away, the purr continuing to rumble in his chest. Perhaps there wouldn't be that much of a fight. He liked a bit of a fight. But the awkward, blushiness was equally bully-able.

"What's your name, elf?"

He saw elves as weak by comparison to vampires and lycans. This man was fair game, in his books. Especially as he went so out of his way to make himself look so appealing. His smirk widened as his fingertips brushed up the man's neck to yank his head back by the hair.

He flinched away form the fingertips running along his neck.

"Fabian." If only he felt as confident as he sounded.

Bian cried out in shock and pain when his hair was yanked, the chains and charms around his neck and in his ears clattering together loudly.

"What are you doing?!" he yelled, struggling to get away, his hair pulling painfully in the Bulgarian's grip. "Let me go!"

"I won't hurt you."

The purr continued to rumble in his chest as he leaned down to lap up the man's neck, nipping the exposed jugular playfully.

There was something ever so satisfying about making a pretty young thing like this submit. Especially since he was, surprisingly, putting up a good fight.

His hand stroked gently through the white-blond locks, winding a strand through his fingers, though he kept a vice-like grip around the man's waist. It was like when a child tried to keep hold of a struggling cat. Seeming to want to pet it, yet holding it tight enough to crush it in the falsely loving embrace.

Like a child wanted the touch of soft fur, he wanted to feel soft skin under his fingertips. Like a child wanted to hear purrs, he wanted to hear screams. And he didn't care if he hurt Fabian in the process.

He nipped the man's jaw sharply, the hard bite contrasting with the softness of his strokes through the silky smooth hair.

"No. No!"

Fabian struggled harder when the arm slid around his waist and crushed him back against the taller man's chest.

"No! No, let me go!"

This couldn't be happening.

A sharp cry sounded when his jaw was nipped and he cried out the only think he could think of in that moment. "Rick! RICK!" Rick had always been around to help him; Rick was always there. Always.

He hoped the vampire would be around now; when he really needed him.

Evgeni had no idea who Rick was, but decided he could use it to frighten the man a bit more.

"I saw him leave the mansion." he purred, winding his hand a little tighter around the man's hair. "He's probably in Catania. He can't hear you."

His jaws clamped around the man's neck, biting down hard to leave a large mark, purring softly into the skin as he tried to hold the struggling man still. The fight was almost effortless on his part. The man was younger, and a weaker species than him.

There was no competition.

A loud dry sob sounded.

He wouldn't cry, but the thought of Rick not being able to help him had him feeling like fighting was useless. Rick was his only chance of escaping this. Without Rick, how was he going to get out of this?

The Elf screamed out when Evgeni's jaws clamped around his neck.

Rick, he needed Rick.

He needed to hear his harsh voice and feel the heat of his body. He needed to smell his unique scent and know that he was there.

"RICK!" he screamed out as loud as he could in one last-ditch effort to get the vampire's attention, no matter where he was.

Aurick had been in the library gathering some books of interest, it had been a long time since he had found a collection quite like this, human bookstores only kept fairly new editions in stock.

His head snapped around as he heard Fabian scream his name, his blood ran cold as he dropped the books to the floor and sprinted towards to garden.

He knew he should not have let the Elf wander around on his own so early, what manner of trouble had he gotten himself into now.

The vampire caught Fabian's scent easy enough and bolted towards the courtyard, a snarl escaping his lips as he caught the scene in front of him.

Seems his plan of covering the boy in silver had not worked quite as well as he planned.

He ran up behind the Lycan and wrapped his hands around the its neck, flames igniting under the Vampire's palms.

"Get your filthy paws off of him mutt!"
He snarled threateningly as the smell of burning flesh reached his nose.

He yanked the man back by the throat, tearing him away from Fabian.

He let out a scream, scrabbling at the man's hands as he pried them off his throat, head leaning back to try and snap at him.

The final finger snapped in his grip as he pulled the man's arm off his throat, wrenching it back over Aurick's throat with a snarl, using it as leverage to push him down to his knees.

A bone snapped in his grip with a sickening crunch.

He grinned and forced it back further, a hand going to Aurick's throat, ready to snap it.

Nobody burned him. Nobody.

Fabian's body shook in relief when he heard Rick's voice.

He was here. He had heard him and he had come for him. Right now he couldn't have been any more relieved.

But the snapping of bone had him getting worried again.

Oh God, it was bad enough that this was happening to him, he didn't want Rick getting hurt, either.

Fabian lunged at Evgeni, beating his fists against the man's back, the silver bracelets covering his forearms touching and burning the skin.

Aurick cried out as his arm was broken crumbling under the Lycan's force and landing on his knees, his body shaking as he tried to keep himself upright.

He tried to tell Fabian to move out of the way but the words were choked out of him before they had a chance to leave his throat.

His broken arm lay limply against his side as his good arm grabbed hold of Fabian's wrist as he punched the Lycan.

He held a strong grip on his wrist and flung him off to the side, away from the two of them, accidentally pulling off a few of the Elf's bracelets in the process and dropping them to the floor beside him.

Aurick held his hand up and white hot flames surged out of his palm, engulfing the Lycan in and inferno of angry blue flames.
His breath coming in struggled pants as the man's hand pressed against his throat harshly.

Evgeni hissed as the silver met his skin, feeling it burning his back painfully, but continued to squeeze the man's neck. He could ignore pain, as long as it wasn't life-threatening. It wasn't as though he hadn't done it before.

Attempting to dodge the punch, he snarled as Aurick's fist collided with his stomach, doubling over.

Another screeching yelp escaped him as he was engulfed by flames, hand letting go of the man's throat as a surge of white-hot pain hit him, writhing in agony. Transforming into his wolf form, he sprinted across the courtyard and into the fountain, the water putting out the flames.

The wolf whimpered, collapsing onto the tiles around the fountain, his head spinning from the pain.

His eyes flickered up to Aurick when his hand encircled his wrist.

The Elf cried out as he was flung aside, grunting loudly as he hit the ground.

His body shook as he curled up into a tight ball. Why did this have to happen? He had just been sat doing his make up and now His vampire was fighting a Lycan because of him.

Aurick was getting hurt and it was his fault.

When he heard the splash, he looked up, trying to stop the shaking of his body.

PostSubject: Re: Fixing A Smudge   Fixing A Smudge EmptyFri Sep 21, 2012 7:16 am

Aurick fell forwards as his throat was released, holding himself up with his functioning arm, his breaths coming in rugged pants as he glare up at the Lycan.

Nothing that Fabian would have done would warrant a Lycan to take such action against him, the Elf would never pick a fight with anyone.

He grabbed the silver bracelets from the floor and staggered to his feet.

It was not in the Vampire's nature to show mercy in a situation like this and the Lycan had not suffered enough yet.

He made his way over to the whimpering Lycan, digging his fangs into the side of his body and tearing open the flesh, forcing the silver bracelets into the open wound before staggering backwards away from the beast.

The wolf would not come after him now, not if he intended to live he would need to be healed quickly, Aurick had forced the beast to run away from this fight.

His vision blurred slightly from the lack of oxygen and he slumped against a bench.
"Fabian..."
He called out to him, his voice rough from the abuse of his neck.

His vision was blurry, and he barely registered the vampire making his way over to him until his side was torn open, letting out an inhuman, pained screeching noise as the silver was shoved in the open wound. The wolf writhed in the reddening water, eyes bulging as he scrabbled at sides of the fountain.

He collapsed against the side, panting. Lying still for a moment, he hauled himself out shakily, starting to walk towards the mansion, unsteady on his legs.

He needed medical help.

Fabian flinched violently when Evgeni let out an inhuman screech.

He felt sick. These two men were fighting and trying to kill each other and he was the centre of it.

When Rick called out his name, he scrambled up and almost ran to the vampire.

"You're hurt," he the first thing that came from his mouth, eyes falling to the man's limp arm. He was hurt. Because of him.

He wasn't the one that snapped the bone but he felt guilty enough that he felt like he had been the one to do it. He had gotten his companion hurt.

His chest rose and fell in heavy pants as he placed his working arm on the Elf's shoulder.

"It will heal, are you alright?"

He asked between breaths, he didn't know exactly what the Lycan had done to the man or the extent of any injuries he may have gotten, though he looked fine.

Using Fabian as a crutch he pulled himself to his feet with a pained grunt, it had been a fair while since he had been in a fight, he was severely out of practice.

"Help me to the infirmary."
His eyes still blurred slightly when he moved from the pain of a broken limb and almost having his wind pipe crushed.

The Elf gave a little nod.

The only thing that was bothering him was the bite on his neck, but that was nothing compared to the broken arm and almost crushed throat.

His arms slid around Aurick's waist when he pulled himself up, pulling him closer.

"I'm sorry," he murmured softly as he led the man into the mansion and through the halls. "I'm so sorry."

His dry eyes slowly began to water. His own pain wouldn't ever be able to make him cry. But someone else's pain - someone he cared about greatly - that was more than enough to make him cry.

Aurick shook his head as he noticed Fabian's eyes start to water.
"Oh calm down Princess, it's not like I've never been injured in a fight before."

He hated hearing the Elf apologize for something he didn't do, if he wasn't prepared to get hurt he would not have gotten involved in the first place.

His good arm came up and smacked the Elf on the back of the head.

"Next time don't be stupid and let a Lycan anywhere near you, you have those bracelets for a reason, you should have pressed your arms against his skin."
