hehe, so this is that infamous Haven for supernaturals... a young looking woman said, her voice a little airy and hysterical and with a thick and heavy Russian accent

she looked around with sharp sunken ice blue eyes at the mansion that was just across the fields

she grinned a little, showing perfect teeth

this place smells like daddy Rasputin....covered in death and blood! it smells like home doesn't it she giggled, twirling a lock of untamed but silky black hair through her fingers

she looked over at the other standing next to her with a innocent, but slightly twisted, grin

isn't that right brother? she asked, tilting her head slightly and shifting a little, making the little metal bangles around her ankles jangle, and the little metal discs on her scarf jingle as well

yes. it does smell like him, doesn't it he said with a similar, but a touch more saner, smile

his sunken ice blue eyes scanned the building in front of them as well

yes, he could smell the death and the blood. but there was another scent that he, or his sister, associated with their father figure

they could smell a 'safeness' about the place

it didn't feel foreboding or anything

it should be fun here.... she murmured

but if they're nice his sister continued

what if these people where like 'daddy rasputin' or the people that killed the Gypsies they stayed with

they held onto each other's hands tightly

Moe hummed to herself as she strolled through the fields back towards the cottage.

Her slim frame was adorned with a black kimono dress emblazoned with a skull, thick black stockings and heeled mary janes.

Her hair was up in two pigtails that, instead of her usual puffy style, flowed to her waist and waved with each step she took.

The Hybrid's eyes found the two Lycan stood holding each others hand and she gave a bright smile, changing her course of direction to walk towards them.

"Hi. Are you new?" she asked when she was close enough, eyes closed in a bright smile.

Hers and her brother's eyes had zeroed in on the one that had been approaching them, and began a silent observation

Would be fast...obviously a good fight. happy person

They both inhaled in unision as the other got closer and grinned

She smelled safe

Well that was a good start

Anastasia's eyes brightened, despite the permenant dark circled around her eyes, and held out a hand to the young woman

"Hey! i'm Anastasia!" she said in an airy voice

"And i'm Dmitri." he said in a calm and quite voice, his voice holding a deep tennor, continuing from his sister

"Yes, we're new here! We've only just come from Russia! it's nice to meet you." they said in perfect unison, every movement one did, the other mirrored in perfect sync

the twins were so close that their minds worked on the same sort of wave length and could easily sync up with each others actions and thought processes

they took their time to look at the one before them closer, memorising her scent and picking it apart

she had a mate...she was safe and strong....they could smell something else on her, two other distinct scents that they didn't know of. one like blood and sweet, the other earthy but fresh.

she smelled like home

instantly. the twins took a liking to her

so what's your name? Dmitri asked, arching an eyebrow

Moe gave an uneasy smile and, instead of taking the hand Anastasia offered, bowed her head in greeting.

It'd take more than six months for her to get rid of a hundred years of conditioned responses to physical contact.

"You speak very good English for someone new," the woman complimented with a more natural smile. She was the same. Her English was still very heavily accented with her thick accent.

She bowed at the two of them. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Anastasia-san, Dmitri-san. I'm Leon Moe."

she shrugged and took back her hand

"Daddy Rasputin and the Romanov royal family taught us a few things. also, you can learn many things just by listening to people." she giggled, grinning brightly, her accent heavy "Also, mamma Rosalie taught us English after she found us when daddy and the Romanovs died." she said, still brightly smiling

however, she bowed back, giggling slightly

but it's nice meeting you, Moe Leon! she said cheerfully and seeming quite childish, despite looking 19

Dmitri let his sister do the talking, not really being one for talking too much himself, but he knew she would always say the things that he wouldn't

bowing at the waist he smield at the other

"you're Lycan...you smell like us, kinda, and like Brother wolfie who would heal our silver burns" Dmitri stated in a solemn voice, but still smiled "is there what Dad called 'a Pack' here? we've never been in one before he murmured, smiling brightly and closing his eyes, which emphasised the dark circles around his eyes

when you looked at the twins, they looked a little sickly, being very pale, and havig dark circled constantly around their eyes, and their hair unbrushed bust somehow still clean

the twins still continued to hold hands for comfort of one another

they wouldn't openly admit that they were a touch nervous with the new person

she smelled safe, but some of the scents that clung to her didn't

"My Baba taught me English, too."

If she had been to school and learned History, she would probably know the names and liken them to the Russian Royals. But she hadn't had any formal schooling and didn't know much about history besides what she had picked up when travelling.

She nodded. "Un. Un. Yes, there's a pack here. I'm the Alpha's granddaughter." She smiled brightly at the two of them.

"Grandaddy loves having new members in his pack."

The twins looked at each other for a moment, and then looked back at Moe

A-Alpha?.....what's that? Anastasia asked, looking confused and speaking both of their thoughts

they had been taken away from their pack near enough as new borns, and hadn't learnt anything about their specie's culture.

the only other Lycan that they had been in contact with was now dead and had been brain dead anyways

Dmitri tilted his head slightly, confused at the Alpha term, and let his sister speak their confusion

they really had learnt next to nothing about their species, only knowing that they had to to change once a month during the full moon and get out to the forest on occasion so they wouldn't get weak

and that Silver was leathal to them....but that was a different matter

"excuse our ignorance....we've never been in a Pack before...and we haven't been around our own kind before. we don't know anything." Dmitri explained, his hand tightening slightly around his sister's hand, hers doing the same

what if this one hurt them for their ignorance...that was what Rasputin always did

Moe blinked.

They didn't know?

But when she heard Dmitri's explanation she smiled. "It's okay. I haven't been around a pack in a century myself, I'm still trying to re-learn some things."

She began fiddling with her claddagh ring idly. "An Alpha is the leader of a Pack. Like...a human king of a kingdom. He rules over the pack and gives orders."

Anastasia's eyes cleared

"ooooh! I see! so it's like the King we used to serve! he ruled Russia and gave lots of orders before he was killed." she giggled bouncing on the balls of her feet a little and making the bangles around her ankles and her scarf jingle

"so we would serve him? and if we did something he didn't like, he would punish us. okay! we understand that! she said, lacing her straight fingers together in a steeple just under her chin

she giggled and went over to Moe, along with Dimitri going to the other side of Moe

Dmitri and his sister smiled and leaned in a touch closer, hands behind their backs

could you possibly take us to the 'Alpha' then? when ever you want. we'd like to meet him! they both asked, their voices in perfect unison

they both wanted to see who they would be serving this time

first it was Rasputin, then the Romanovs and Rasputin, and then the Gypsy Troupe.

now they could be in a proper Pack and be with their own kind

something in their blood sang at the idea and made their grins slightly broader

Moe nodded softly.

"Yes, that's about right. And there's also a Beta of the pack. You have to follow his orders like you would Grandaddy's. But if the Beta orders you to do something and Grandaddy orders you to do something else that messes with that plan, you have to follow Grandaddy's orders. Alpha's word rules over."

She tensed a little when the two of them got closer.

"Not at the moment, I'm sorry. He's in the Mainlands doing business."

Anastasia's eyes instantly picked up on the discomfort and quickly took a step and a bit back, pulling her brother back and going back to holding his hand

2we're sorry if we made you uncomfortable! Daddy Rasputin always got really really close to us, so we don't think about it much." she said quickly, eyebrows tilting up in the middle in an apologetic expression

she hated upsetting people as it was hard for them to make firends in the first place

everyone would always run away from them becuase everyone thought they were wierd. this one was the first person in a while to not back off

Dmitri stepped back when made to do so, and his expression mirrored his sister, their thoughts the same

he decided, however, to move it on, and listened to what the other had said

"so we have to follow the Alpha no matter what. but we can listen to the Beta if the Alpha says it's okay....okay, we think we got it." he said, smiling again

he made sure, now, to keep a respectable distance away from the woman

neither of the twins wanted to make her uncomfortable

Moe gave a sheepish smile. "I'm sorry; I'm just not used to Europe's lack of boundaries quite yet. You can take the Hybrid out of Japan but you can't take Japan out of the hybrid," she explained, rubbing her arm gently.

She was on her way to losing her boundaries, but for now she was very closed off around people that weren't her immediate family.

The Hybrid gave a nod. "Yes, that's right. But sometimes you have to be careful. The Beta is the older half of a pair of twins and the younger twin likes to give orders that he's not supposed to."

She didn't like warning people against her father, but she knew she had to. "The best way to figure out which twin is the proper Beta is their hairstyle. The Beta has layered hair; he's the one you should follow orders from."

Ana nodded and grinned

okay then! we'll be sure to not get too close to you she giggled, taking a small step further away to try and make the nice girl more comfortable

however, she frowned a little in confusion

um.....what's a Hybrid by the way? we've never heard that word before...and a hybrid with what? a Human? there's other species? she asked, tiling her head slightly

she and Dmitri were thoroughly confused now....what ths about Hybrids and stuff?

Dmitri simply remained quiet, deciding to let Anastasia do most of the talking

he'd simply be the eyes and ears and litsten out for anything that may be dangerous to them
