Punishment

"You're so weak you can't even smile? How much did Alexis take?"

His brows furrowed as they continued down the hall. They were getting close. They'd passed the Aria Wing and were heading through the halls littered with small rooms and large halls. he could see the kitchen at the end of this painfully long hallway.

"Nearly there; we can see it," he murmured softly.

"Too much, she's never taken this much before."

He sighed softly looking down at his blood soaked shirt, he knew that a lot of the blame fell on the fact that Alexis was still struggling to control herself.

The vampire put more of his weight on the lycan, he was getting so tired.

"Thank god."
He murmured as he stroked his temple with his free hand, not much long then he could sit down.

"Bet that's a bitch."

He hated blood loss at the best of times and he'd never gone through it like Aeker had.

"So, what type am I foraging for?" He didn't want to pick up a blood type that the vampire didnt like.

Aeker panted softly, all the walking was taking it's toll, he was getting exhausted, he hung his head, staring at his feet with blurry eyes.
"How much further?"

He asked, his body trembling softly.

"Anything, I don't care..."
He murmured, at the moment he would drink anything.

"Not much, céadsearc," he assured. They were coming up on the kitchen now. He could smell the raw meat and the blood bags in the large refrigerated room.

The Lycan smiled softly as they passed into the kitchen. "There, we're here." He guided Aeker along towards the large dining table surrounded by chairs.

Aodh helped the man sit down carefully then darted off towards the room, returning with a handful of blood bags. He'd put any that the vampire didn't drink back later.

He pulled a large cup from the cupboard and tore open a bloodbag with his teeth, pouring the red liquid into the cup, nose wrinkling in distaste. He hated the smell of blood, he really did.

The Lycan crouched in front of Aeker and held the cup up to him.

Aeker breathed out a sigh of relief as they entered the kitchen, thank god, no more walking.

He collapsed into the chair and leaned against the table, blinking to try to get his eyes to focus.

Aeker placed his hands around the cup and brought it to his lips, tilting his head back and gulped it down eagerly.
He couldn't remember a time when he had been more thirsty in his long life.

"Thank you."
He murmured, pulling away from the glass as he swiftly finished it, licking his lips.

He watched the vampire drink silently, eyeing the blood as it drained form the cup. He'd never understand how vampire could like drinking blood, but he didn't voice his views. Vampire probably wondered why Lycan got so violent over the smallest things.

"Want another?" he asked, reaching for another bag placed on the table next to the vampire.

"Looks like you're going to be taking care of me when I'm pissed and I'm going to be taking care of you when your sister gets to you." He held the bag up to the man.

"Please."
He said with a soft nod. He was thankful that he was old enough to be able control his blood lust otherwise he probably would of attacked Aodh back in the room.
That was something he would of regretted.

"For both our sakes I hope that I spend more time taking care of you than you taking care of me."
He hated going through this and would avoid it if at all possible.

He took the bag and bit into it, drinking straight from the bag, usually he would have more tact but he was just so damn thirsty that he didn't care.
Silently he hoped that the lycan would not be too repulsed by his actions.

His lips twitched upwards. "Aye, I think I'd much prefer you looking after me than the other way around."

His hand rubbed the man's leg softly as he watched him bite into the blood bag.

He didn't enjoy the sight of the man tearing into the bag, but he tried to overlook it. He was a vampire, it was in his nature, Aodh would have to get used to it.

"Feeling much better?"

"A lot better, thank you."
He replied, though he still looked horrible with blood through his hair and down his clothing the colour seeped back into his face and his eyes returned to there deep crimson.

He put down the empty bag and leaned forward, stroking the lycan's face, his skin had even warmed though it was still on the cold side.

"Good."

He leaned into the fingers stroking his face, eyes sliding shut and a low purr rumbling in his chest.

"You scared the shit outta me when I opened that door and found you in a pool of blood." His silver eyes flickered open and he gazed up at Aeker, worry still darkening the usually bright silver.

"Try not to make a habit of that, aye? I dont think I can take that often."

He took the man's hand and kissed the back of it softly.

"You have no idea how glad I was that it was you that found me, I was worried that she came back for a moment."

He leaned down and kissed the man's forehead.
"I don't think I can either."
He replied, his hand tracing the deep bite mark on his neck.
He sighed and shook his head, placing his head on the older man's shoulder, he was still exhausted.

"I'm not pleased that you had to help me feed, I can tell by the way your nose wrinkles that you're not fond of blood."

"It's not healthy to be scared of your sibling," he murmured softly. He knew from experience violent siblings were scary at times and it really wasn't healthy for relationships.

His hands came up to comb through Aeker's hair when he rested his head on his shoulder.

"I'll manage. I've just never liked the scent of metals of any kind. Blood has a pretty nasty metallic scent." He nuzzled into the vampire's neck gently. "I can handle it."

"I'm not usually afraid of her, she's just unable at the moment, she broke the bond with her master. She's free again and struggling to control herself.
You can't blame her for today, it's not entirely her fault."

Aeker purred softly as Aodh ran his hands through his hair, he wrapped his arms around the wolf.

"I'm glad, because it's not something I can help."

"Oh good, she finally got away from the Elf." That was something to celebrate.

The hate he harboured for Elves wasn't disappearing any time soon.

"I'd rather she not do this again. And I'm slightly pissed at her." He'd sort it out with the woman after he was sure the man would be absolutely fine. He wasn't above hiding Aeker away until he was feeling better.

In fact, that idea was becoming increasingly better in his mind.

"Doesn't mean you get to escape from my bitching." His lips quirked into a grin. "Especially on a bad day."

"You're not the only one, I think it would be best if I avoided her for a little while, wait for her to calm down."
Aeker replied, his eyes narrowing slightly, he wasn't his sisters chew toy and didn't appreciate being treated as such.

He looked down at his clothing and blood soaked hair.
"I need a shower."

He could feel the blood on his skin as it dried slowly, sticking his shirt to his chest, it was very pleasant.

"Aye, good idea."

His lips quirked into a grin. "You're welcome to hide out in my room if you want. I can play guard dog for you."

Aodh lifted his hands, cupping Aeker's cheeks and leaning forwards to kiss him softly.

"I could help with that," he purred softly.

His smiled softly and nodded.
"I might just do that."
In truth he had felt a little lonely in bed that day after his time with Aodh, it had been difficult to pull himself away from that couch.

Aeker kissed him back, his hands reaching up to grip his hair softly.

"Shall we head back then? I feel fine to walk now."
He was eager to get clean, knowing that Aodh did not like the smell of it. He was hiding it very well because he suspected that at the moment he reeked of blood.

"Always room in my bed unless Maccon hogs it."

The dog, who had been sitting in the corner of the kitchen silently, yipped, tail beating against the ground.

"But its pretty easy to push her off."

He leaned into the hands gripping at his hair.

"Back to your sisters room? Pass. But I'm fine with heading back to the Aria Wing." The man stood and offered his hand to Aeker.

He took Aodh's hand and rose to his feet slowly, making sure he wasn't going to get dizzy. Thankfully he felt alright.

Aeker, patted his leg softly, motioning for the dog to come over so he could pat her.

"No, not back to her room, to mine preferably, I'd like to get some fresh clothes."
He replied, squeezing the man's hand softly.

Maccon practically skidded across the hardwood floor in her desperation to get to the man quickly.

Attention!

She skidded right past the two of them, yelping loudly and scrabbling against the wood to stop herself.

Aodh chuckled to himself as he watched his dog make a fool of herself then shuffle back to them looking very embarrassed as she sat next to Aeker, ears pinned back against her hair and tail between her legs.

"Who says you'll need clothes?"

Aeker chuckled softly and leaned down to stroke the dogs head before starting to walk back to Aria wing.

He raised and eyebrow at Aodh and smirked softly.

"You want me walking around the mansion naked? Because there is no way I am staying in these clothes."

"I think I can confine you to my room."

He grinned widely as he followed the vampire. "Preferably my bed. Won't need clothes there, I assure you."

Aodh didn't have it in him not to be lewd when the opportunity arose, even if the situation didn't call for it. It was a gift.

Maccon padded along, sticking close to Aeker.

"Not forever you can't."
He smiled, sooner or later he would have to leave the room.

A smile spread across his lips as the lycan grinned at him.
"Your bed sounds like a very tempting place to be right now.
After a shower of course."

Aeker's free hand dangled at his side, stroking the dogs ears softly.

"I can damn well try." He returned the man's smile with a grin.

He nodded, running a hand through his hair. "Nice hot shower together sounds good." His nose wrinkled. "We both reek of blood."

It wasn't pleasant to smell blood clinging to himself.

Maccon's tongue lapped at the man's fingers, tail wagging out behind her.
