Teasing

Aodh sat on the cooling grass of the back garden.

His legs had healed pretty good and so had his right arm. But his left arm was still wrapped tight in thick white bandages.

He tossed a tennis ball and Maccon ran after it, bringing it back and dropping it in his lap.

he tossed it again with a small smile.

"You look even worse than last time."

Her voiced chimed softly as she walked up behind him, standing at his head leaning over to of him.
She had seen him from her bedroom window and jumped down to tease him accordingly.
Her hair was long enough that even in her standing position it managed to brush against his nose wisply.

She eyed the man slightly, she could tell by the bruising on his limbs that each one had been recently broken

"Thanks, darling. I feel as great as I look."

He arched a brow, looking up at the woman, nose twitching when her hair brushed against it.

"How're you?"

She giggled softly and walked around him, sitting down in front of him.
"Obviously better than you."
She replied, bringing her hand to her mouth, covering her ever present smirk.

"Four broken bones, how did you manage." She tutted as she bit her lip softly, suppressing another lot of giggles.

"Obviously better than you," he mocked under his breath, rolling his eyes.

He leaned back, keeping himself propped up on his unbandaged arm.

"My father and niece," he gave in way of explanation. Alek and Moe had gotten to him and tore him to pierces.

She snickered at his mimicry,
"Well I am."
She replied, holding out her arms in front of her.
"At least I still have use of both my arms."
She added, glancing at his bandaged one.

"Such a lovely family you have, speaking of which, a little bird told me that you had a run in with my brother."

She said, her eyes glowing brightly beneath her thick silver fringe.

"Yeah, yeah."

He pursed his lips, looking down at his bandaged arm. "Moe's a wonderfully violent little shit." His eyes turned to Alexis. "Have you met Moe?"

The man nodded, lips stretching into a wide grin. "Aye, we met."

She nodded softly.
"I have met Moe, last time I saw her she was trying to convince me to eat solids, that was just after I put her partner into the infirmary.
Such a confusing situation that was."

She chuckled softly, biting onto her bottom lip again.
"That must have been a surprise."
She added, a smirk gracing the corner of her lips.

"She's a confusing girl. She doesn't have it in her to hate anyone."

The man smiled.

"Trying to convince a vampire to eat solid food..." He shook his head with a grin. "She'll stop at nothing until you do eat her cooking, y'know? She's stubborn as a mule."

Aodh snorted a laugh. "Yeah, it was. I even called him kitty-cat..." His shoulders shook with another laugh.

Alexis nodded softly.
"She is indeed, she was the first one here to show me kindness so I felt I should not deny her at least a chance to cook for me, she seemed quite passionate about it.
Though after 900 years on only liquids I suspect I will not be able to keep anything else down."

Alexis burst into laughter, cupping her hands over her mouth.
"Oh I bet he loved that."

"It's not the cooking she's passionate about." His lips quirked up. "It's making sure you're healthy."

He nodded. "She'll start you off on soups and soft foods."

The man shook his head. "Yeah, absolutely loved it."

"She does realize I am a vampire, there is only one thing I need to keep me healthy."

Her laughter dulled down to a soft chuckle.
"That would of been entertaining, I wish I was there to watch.
I do hope Aeker scolded you."
She added with a soft grin, her sibling would not of done anything he was far too docile.

"She's an odd one." He grinned. "When she's not breaking your legs, she's a wonderful girl."

Maccon appeared again then, dropping the ball in Aodh's lap. Then she launched herself at Alexis, tongue lolling out and swiping over Alexis' cheek.

He grinned and shook his head. "We sat talking. It was...odd."

Alexis chuckled and pinned the dog against her chest, hugging her tightly, tipping her head back so Maccon was unable to lick her.

"Aeker is odd."
She replied nonchalantly.
"It's surprising how well he deals with people considering the fact that he spends so much time all by himself.
Though I suppose it is my fault he is so reserved."

"Odd...but not bad."

Though they had a rocky start, he had enjoyed his time with the younger man. It had been...odd. Weird. But cool.

He laughed softly. "I was expecting him to beat me black and blue."

She chuckled softly and shook her hair, flicking a stray piece of hair back behind her shoulder.

"He wouldn't do that, in my 900 years I have only seen Aeker fight once."

And that had been terrifying, not something she would want to see again.
She was the violent one, the one that would punished people who wronged them.

"Plus, you are already black and blue."
She added with a soft chuckle.

He nodded. "I found that out myself." The man grinned to himself. "We became friends; friends." He gave a short laugh. "I dont think I've ever accidentally flirted with someone then become their friend before."

Aodh snorted and leaned forwards to pet Maccon as she licked at the woman's neck.

"I'm not that bad. The bruises have gone down quite a bit." His eyes turned down to his bare lower legs then winced. "Well... Yeah, it's still pretty bad."

She smirked,

"That's Aeker for you, always so pleasant."
She said rolling her eyes slightly.

She let the dog go, stroking it softly, weaving its large soft ears between her fingers.

"Do they hurt?"
She asked leaning forward and poking his leg firmly.

"He's...great. And he can actually understand some things about me that not even Lean can."

Aodh hissed loudly, flinching away from the woman with a hard glare.

"Not until you just attacked them."

He turned a look down to his legs then rubbed them gently.

"Lean?"
She asked, her head tilting to the side sightly so she could see him better from behind her fringe.

She chuckled softly and looked at his legs.
"Don't try to make me feel guilty, I suspect you have been through worse."

"My brother. My twin. Coilean."

He tilted his head back to look up at the moon.

"Do you know how much bruises hurt? I swear, you can tear my throat out and it'll be less painful than these damned bruises." His eyes turned to Alexis. "That wasn't an invitation; don't actually tear my throat out."

"Uh twins, that would be why you got along with Aeker so well. That is interesting."
She said, her mind wandering slightly.

"I would not tear your throat out!"
She said with applauded shock, which slowly faded into a dark smirk.
"I'd get blood in my hair and I've only just washed it."
She added with a chuckle.

"Hmm? He got a thing for twins or something?"

He shook his head with a disbelieving laugh. "Of course; how could I possibly suggest something to endanger your hair."

He rolled his eyes.

"if you get blood in it, it might get as red as mine." He tugged a long of her hair playfully. "I think you'd look good ginger."

"He is under the impression that other twins understand what it is like to be one half of a whole, that without each other we can not feel satisfied. He is fascinated by immortal twins."

She did not disagree with his philosophy but twin in the immortal world were more scarce then in the human world.

She hissed softly as he tugged her hair, glancing at him peevishly.
"You get blood in it and you'll be the one cleaning it out, regardless of whether your throat in internal or external of you body."

He nodded. "So he's got a thing for twins."

He couldn't deny that he had a thing for twins himself.

The Lycan chuckled and tucked the lock between his fingers behind her ear. "No blood in your pretty hair, got it. Though I still think you'd look good as a redhead."
