Teasing

He nodded and followed after her to the kitchen.

"Its fine. I'll be surprised if there isn't a bowl of something or another that Moe cooked. She's constantly cooking."

He loved the girl's cooking.

Alexis headed straight for the fridge, taking out two blood bags and throwing them in the microwave for a few seconds before draining them into a red wine goblet.

"Oh before I forget."
She removed the necklace and placed it back into its leather pouch and placed it on the table.

"Thank you for today."

Aodh also darted straight to the fridge, whooping when he saw a covered bowl and a piece of paper with his name written on it.

Good old Moe.

He waited for Alexis to finish up with the microwave before shoving his bowl in there.

"Skirts and Kidneys, I love her," he purred as he pulled the hot bow out of the microwave and graduated towards the table, picking up a fork and spoon on his way.

Alexis chuckled at how excited he got over the food and settled down at the table, sipping eagerly from her glass.

She let out a contented sigh and leaned back in the chair.

"That feels better."
She murmured softly as she idly rubbed her throat, she hated that dry feeling from not eating for a few days.

He pointed his spoon, with a chunk of kidney on it, at the vampire.

"Moe is a good cook. A very good cook." He swallowed the mouthful of food that was in his mouth then spooned the chunk of kidney in.

"I can't cook for shit, but she has a gift, I tell you."

"For the moment I will just have to trust your word on that one."

She replied, her nose wrinkling up at the sight of the food, definitely no solids for a fair while.

"If I ever manage to keep down solid food I may need to learn to cook, I watched Moe cook once, she found it enjoyable at least."

"You'll see the light when she starts cooking for you. Moe's cooking is wonderful."

He shrugged. "She took after her father on that one."

Coilean loved to cook. Aodh not so much. He cooked as a necessity. But usually he just ate whatever he caught raw. Moe and Coilean hated that about him so endeavoured to cook good, not-raw foods for him.

Alexis took another large sip from her glass, licking her lips before answering.

"I hope so, I can't stand this stuff and it takes quite a few humans to fill me, it's rather annoying when you just want to lounge around."

Blood bags always seemed to have that horrible plastic taste to it, no matter what you did to it.

He nodded.

"Hunting when you feel lazy is the worst." How many times had he been sent out to hunt when all he had wanted was to cul up under a tree?

Far too many to count.

"Indeed."

She gulped down the rest of the glass and grimaced softly, that taste really was quite foul.

"Oh well, that should hold me over for two days at least."

She said with a sigh before getting up to clean the glass.

His eyebrows shot up.

That little glass would last he two days?

No wonder she was so skinny. That little glass was... well, little.

"This isn't even going to last me till morning," he chuckled, shovelling more of the stew into his mouth. He'd craw down in the early hours for something else to shove down his throat.

She shrugged off the look he gave her, how much did he expect her to eat exactly..

"You're much bigger than I am, that and you're a guts."

She replied with a chuckle as she sat back down, granted she was not full, she simply could not stomach any more of that stuff, she only had to hold out for the following night and she could go into town for a proper feed.

He shrugged with a little grin.

Yes, he knew he ate ungodly amounts.

He'd been called every name even hinting at over-eating under the sun. And it didn't bother him at all.

He gave another yawn as he shovelled a piece of meat into his mouth.

His yawning set her off, yawning in reply.
She grumbled softly and rubbed her eyes, fatigue was starting to set in.

"Gah, don't think I will be able to hold out much longer, might just have to try having an excessively long sleep in."
She said with a soft chuckle.

"Mmm, good idea."

He finished off his bowl and dumped it in the sink. If Tony didn't throttle him beforehand, he'd wash it up in the morning.

He yawned again. "Damn. Bed time, I think."

She nodded softly and forced herself onto her feet.
"Definitely bed time, you've worn me out."

She chuckled softly and leaned against the door frame as he finished up.
