[C] Downward Dog

Chai laughed when Dick kept her sort of pinned, tongue sticking out and smiling around it.

"I totally won that, though. Gotta admit it."

Dick was a total mess. She definitely won.

"Uhuh, looks like it."

Sacha had equally messed up her hair as messy as he thought his looked right now.

"Truce?"

He wasn't going to get her so until she agreed.

Chai took a moment to consider and gave his hair one last rough ruffle.

"Truce," she promised.

It was a sibling truce. It wouldn't last long. A few hours max.

Dick nodded, before letting her wrists go.

He took a step back, eyes narrowed, not entirely trusting she will keep up her pact of the truce. Not for the first few hours, anyway.

"C'mon, then Sacha. You've got to get the first round in before we find out whether Aodh's there."

She grabbed Sacha's wrist, and pulled him along, in the same way she'd pulled Dick along earlier.

With a tug of the band keeping her hair back, and a good shake of her head, her hair looked more of a sexy-tousled, than fought-with-the-brother. It was something all the Pierce kids had. Amazing hair.

Dick looked on in jealousy as Chai shook out her lush hair. Keeping his hair in a ponytail made it either kink and flatten, or turn into a fluffy mess. It was a gamble.

He now had to pretentiously pull a few pieces forward to frame his face, rather than trust they would fall forward. He needed to get it cut. Even curled, it was starting to skim past his shoulders.

He was tempted to get it all cut off.

Dick followed the two of them into The Last Stand and picked the nearest and least grime booth.

Chai and Sacha carried on to the bar together.

They returned with drinks in hand. Chai carried her vodka and coke happily, while Sacha had a gin and tonic in one hand and a large glass of wine in the other.

"So, Dickie," Sacha purred, sitting down opposite the Vampire and sliding the glass of wine to him. "Which of our Chai's hunkalicious brothers are you attached to?"

He steepled his fingers and rested his chin on them, smiling at Dick in interest.

"No, let me guess. Leo? I would let Leo do all sorts of wicked things to me given the chance."

Dick took the glass of wine and looked at Sacha unsurely as his attention was drawn to him.

"Leo?!"

In the deep, guilty part of his mind, Leo was attractive. It didn't help that he looked a lot like Fleck.

That didn't mean he wanted to hear was sort of wicked things Sacha wanted Fleck's brother to do to him. He was content not knowing.

All the new found opinions of Sacha was taken back.

"I'm with Fleck."

"Fleck?" Sacha repeated, drawing back in shock.

His gaze turned to Chai. "Like... Doesn't socialise, sits in his room sculpting, hot as a fucking supernova, Fleck?" he clarified.

Chai nodded, little smirk on her face. She'd had the same reaction two years ago when Dick was brought home to meet them all.

Sacha looked impressed. "Well, good on him. Good on the both of you. That man needed some good lovin'."

Dick paused and reexamined Sacha. He couldn't make heads or tails of him.

"...Thanks."

It was strange for him for Fleck to be classed as someone who doesn't socialise when he would peg his boyfriend being the more social of the two of them. He knew he was different from before they met, it was just difficult to imagine. Especially now.

Sacha gave a nod then took a long sip of gin and tonic.

"What about you, baby girl? Have you climbed that ice skater and his entourage yet?"

Chai laughed and shook her head slowly. "What makes you think I'd tell you if I had?"

Sacha pressed his hand to his chest, wounded. "That'd be withholding information, and that's cruel darling. So cruel."

Dick took a long, deep drink as they spoke, seeing exactly where the conversation was going. At least Chai is being coy.

One free drink and he will go. Or maybe two free drinks and he will wiggle his way out of this.

"Somehow you'll survive without knowing every detail of everyone's sex life," Chai responded dryly.

She nudged Dick. "So, how are you enjoying the yoga classes so far? Are they what you thought they'd be?"

They hadn't really discussed how Dick was liking the classes, even though he'd been coming with her for a couple weeks now.

It was a good change of pace from talking about sex, too. She knew if the subject carried on, theyd be talking about Sacha's sexlife, and that was something she wanted to avoid.

"They weren't quite what I expected."

He spun the stem of his glass.

"They require a lot more effort than I thought. I thought it was all going to be laying there being told how to breathe and thinking of, I don't know, flowers. But it is actually kind of fun."

It wasn't curing his problems, but it got him out of the house. Right now, it was making him socialise with people other then Fleck or Giacinto.

"Do I look like a breathe and think of flowers type of girl?" Chai jibed with a raised brow.

She wasn't the type to deal with that sort of hippie dippie shit. She never had been. Never would be. That was a simple fact.

"Maybe if the flowers were venus fly traps," Sacha supplied dryly, raising his glass to Chai.

Dick shrugged.

"Everyone has surprising parts of their personality."

But, no. He certainly didn't see Chai as breathe and think of flowers type of girl.

"Like Sacha's actual ability to know when to shut up, and Fleck's temper," Chai agreed.

She took the final sip of her drink, then tipped the glass over. it landed on its side and she gasped in mock horror. "Oh no! It's a good thing there was nothing in it."

Sacha rolled his eyes. "Guess it's time for another round, then?" His glass was still half full, and Dick was down to his last couple of sips. He supposed the next round was due.

He stood and disappeared off again.

Even two years together Fleck's temper was still a bit of a myth to him. He took it as a good thing.

Dick watched Sacha stand and go to get another round without a fuss. When, really, it should be his or Chai's round.

He sipped the last of his drink and turned to Chai, speaking in a low, conspicuous voice.

"Let me guess, he is filthy rich?"

"Yupp. Stinking. And he hates it, really."

Chai leaned against Dick. "That's why he slums it with us. Cheap yoga classes, poor friends. Corban, his boyfriend? Hasn't got a penny to his name. He's an immigrant from Greece. Just wanted to get away from a shitty home life. Sacha took him in."

Chai was the sort of person that knew everything about her friends, down to the last detail.

"Sacha feels better about being the one percent when he spends that money on making his friends happy."

Dick raised an eyebrow.

Sacha hates it?

He could think of worst things to be.

Dick's eyes wondered over to the bar.

"I wouldn't have pegged him as the type of guy that wants to take care of people." Dick paused and realised exactly how shitty that sounded. "As in, you know, takes enjoyment from it," he quickly tried to remedy, but it sounded no better.

Chai laughed loudly.

"He does come across as a pretentious asshole sometimes, doesn't he?" she agreed.

Most the time.

"But if you're close to him, you'll never be treated better."

Sacha appeared, carrying the three glasses in his large hands. "What are you two talking about?"

"How much of an asshole you are," Chai replied easily, reaching for her vodka and coke.

"Oh." Sacha grinned and leaned in. "Between you and me," he began in a conspiratorial whisper. "I have to agree. That Sacha bloke? What a cunt."

Dick laughed easily as Sacha's tone dropped to a conspiratorial whisper.

As easily as last time it flipped, his opinion of Sacha changed again. He may be an intimidating loudmouth, but his heart seems to be in the right place. And he had a sense of humour.

Maybe he will stay.

Especially if there was a chance he was going to be supplied free wine all night.

"So Corban shot you down in flames today. What did you do to piss him off?" Chai questioned when their laughing had died down.

Sacha rolled his eyes. "He thinks I'm a bratty pillow princess. He just wasn't satisfied doing the work last night."

Ah, so it came back to his sexlife. Again. It was Chai's turn to roll her eyes. "Well, if you don't move, it is kinda boring. I don't blame him."

Sacha stuck his tongue out.

So the conversation landed back on sex.

Despite having the tendency to be like that himself, he had to drink to what Chai said, in one big gulp. Having someone expecting him to do all the work didn't sound fun.

... Then again, Fleck was never doing a lot if he was tied down and gagged.

Dick took another large gulp.

He would blame his flushed cheeks on the wine.

"Oh, but he likes that. Some leather and chains, sometimes a gag if I'm being too loud. He lives for that."

Sacha huffed, pout forming on his lips. "He was just being argumentative for the sake of it. And oooh did I feel that argument." He theatrically rubbed his lower back. "You know how uncomfortable it is to stretch when your ass has been thoroughly fucked the night before?"

Chai made a little sympathetic noise. "It's a killer."

"Carmen Pierce, what dirty little things has your ass been up to?" Sacha gasped, hand pressing delicately to his chest - oh his poor, delicate heart - and mouth hanging open on outrage.

"Dirty little things that you don't get to hear about."
