[C][AU][FUTURE AU] Spin It

A shiver racked his body when Lucas' thumb stroked over his tail. He was so used to such rough touches that these gentle touches always bought out a strong reaction from him.

He didn't make his usual wise crack, almost afraid to break this gentle affection they had going on.

Lucas also remained silent and simply enjoyed the moment. Even those fucking annoying giggles couldn't ruin this. Yep, they totally could not ruin this. Not one bit.

"Why can't they just fuck off," he said, not too quietly.

But they reminded completely ignorant. Too absorbed in their own little bubble.

"Because they also have free reign of the castle and don't conform to your whims."

The giggling was annoying him, too, but he couldn't miss an opportunity to be an ass to Lucas. He just couldn't.

He gave Nico's tail a squeeze. Not as hard as he normally would at such a comment.

"They should."

This whole ship would be a better place if everyone listened to him. He wouldn't have anyone bothering him.

"You think everyone should do everything you say," Nico snorted.

"So far you have exactly zero people doing what you tell them to. You must be devastated."

His tone couldn't get any more dry if he tried.

He squeezed the tail with his normal firmness.

"More than you."

Even drunk, he realised that was the stupidest comeback ever. But pride ment he wasn't going to take it back.

His tail twitched then constricted around Lucas' hand like an angry snake.

"Yes, more than me," came the bitingly sarcastic words.

"Tell me, does your brain mourn the sense it's lost?"

Lucas felt the tail constrain his wrist, but continued squeezing it. Harder.

"At least I have one."

He was relieved to find that whatever came out of his mouth at least made sense this time.

"That is yet to be seen."

He certainly wasn't fully convinced.

Nico heaved a sigh. "The giggling is making me sick. Shall we go to bed?"

Lucas made a noise of agreement but didn't make an attempt to move. It was difficult enough to going from lying down to sitting up. He needs to mentally prepared for this.

He started by opening his eyes. He carefully looked around the room to make sure it doesn't start spinning again. There were a few notably gone.

Nico drew himself to his feet in a movement that could be considered graceful only if you witnessed the sheer lack of coordination the rest of his current company possessed.

He was losing coordination, but he wasn't nearly as far gone as the rest seemed to be.

"Come on, Lucas. Today."

He wanted to get to bed already.

Lucas never liked being told what to do on good days. He despised being told what to do when drunk.

"I am coming, " he grunted.

But his ass stayed planted on the floor.

"You are. You don't have a choice."

And with the ease of someone who did this a lot, Nico bent down and hoisted Lucas up over his shoulders.

He began walking towards the archway to the hallway, expecting not to get too far before Lucas threw a fit.

The room spun and blood rushed to his head. It took a moment to realise what was going on. Why he suddenly felt like he was upside with a view of the floor and a pair of legs and that fucking blue tail.

"Fucking - fuck off!"

He tried to lift himself up on Nico's back. His knee attempting to slam into his chest. But he felt too disoriented and the room just won't stop spinning.

"Fucking stay the fucking fuck still," Nico mocked, something he did often when Lucas' speech devolved into an amalgamation of every curse word he knew with the occasional actual word thrown into to at least attempt to form a sentence.

He purposefully jostled Lucas as he carried on walking.

"Fuck you."

There was a few more uncreative curse words hissed from Lucas as he was jostled.

He kicked his legs back in towards Nico's face in an attempt to throw him off balance, hands reaching out to tug hard at his tail again.

With an arm locked at the back of his knee, Lucas couldn't close his legs enough to kick his face. He'd learned to do that early on.

But he did stumble a step when his tail was yanked.

"Pull it one more time and I'm locking you out of our room for the next week," he growled.

It wouldn't be the first time he'd done that, nor would it be the last.

His free hand lashed out to slap Lucas' backside firmly.

A sense of satisfaction swelled in Lucas chest as Nico stumbled, even if he did end up hitting his head against Nico's ass. It took a moment to orient himself.

He ignored the warning like he always did. There was no way he was going to stop over that. This was a matter of pride and Nico was going to let him the fuck down.

He reached out a little lower on tail to pull on it -

"Shit!" He hissed between his teeth, body jolting. A spark shot from Nico's hand straight to his groin.

The slap didn't sting. It was the shock of it.

And there was no fucking way he was letting that happen again.

In revenge, he yanked at the tail - sharply - for the third time tonight.

That last yank to his tail was the lst straw.

He just shrugged Lucas off hid shoulder, let him drop heavily to the floor, and walked off.

Lucas wasnt getting into their room tonight or any other night this week. He could get fucked.

Nico didnt give false warnings

Lucas grunted and groaned on his side. Jaw aching where it hit the floor.

He watched the blue blur walk off. He wasn't going to call after him. No matter how drunk he was and no matter how horny he has gotten. His stubborn ass wasn't going to chase after him and beg for forgiveness. If he wasn't allowed in their room there were plenty of others to camp out in.

But he will figure it out tomorrow. Right now the floor was very comfortable.
