[C][M] Scolding

Deme snapped out of his sulking as he was pulled up by force.

"Lucifer no!"

He struggled against the Fallen, he didn't want to be forced to read for days on end.

"There is a more effective way to go about this, even though you fight against any help I offer "

He muttered, remaining calm as Deme became more distressed, making sure he had a firm grasp on Zakhar in case he tried to jump Lucifer.

Lucifer's grip was unrelenting. Deme's meager strength was nothing in comparison to his own strength, even as muted as it was.

He'd taken three steps, dragging a struggling Deme behind him, the book tucked under his other arm, when Belial spoke.

He whirled around, long hair whipping around him. His eyes were narrowed and he looked like he was ready to spit fire.

"Everything you've offered me has resulted in pain and suffering!" This was the first time Demetri would have seen Lucifer lose himself to his rage like this.

He span on his heel again, stalking away with Deme's wrist still held tightly in his grip.

When Lucifer's rage actually peeked Demetri ceased his struggling, to say he was afraid was an understatement.

With that he looked back longingly at Belial and Zakhar, he had wanted to stay with them.

He was giving into his situation, slowly, dread and realisation was spreading through him, there wasn't much for him to do other than give up.

Belial gave a sigh and ran a hand through his hair, sitting back in his seat. That didn't go to plan.

As soon as they were out of the kitchen, Lucifer shoved the book at Deme's chest.

His eyes were still narrowed. But instead of spitting harsh orders like he would have, the man deflated in front of his human.

"Just do it," he murmured weakly. He wasn't up for any more arguments today. Yelling at Belial had used up his quota for arguing today. Now he was just feeling raw.

He turned his back on the human and walked down the hall.

He wasnt dealing with anyone else today.

Deme looked defeated and when the book was shoved against him he wrapped his arms around it, hugging the book to his chest as he gave a small nod.

Perhaps life would be easier if he just did as he was told.

Demetri didn't want to be in any more pain, he didn't want to see Belial or Zakhar right now, instead he opened the closest empty room and his inside.

This book was all he had now.
