[C][M] The Summoning

"Weird."

He replied with a little shrug, he knew even less about supernatural stuff than Alyosha did, he already knew that all his knowledge was based off of media which was more than likely completely wrong.

"Can't even make fun of you for being old if you're not going to look any different."

He was at least expecting a few grey hairs of something.

"How will you survive without easy ammunition to bully me with?" Lyo snorted.

If nothing else, Maks was creative. He'd find a way to pick on Lyo if he really wanted to. Lyo had no doubt about that.

The man stretched his arms above his head then scratched his stomach idly. "Pizza'll be done soon." Then they could go watch a good horror flick.

"I'll just have to get more creative."

He replied with a devious smirk, he wouldn't stop making fun of the same just because it was more difficult.

"Can't wait."

He replied, his usual reply to when pizza was being cooked, the fact that he couldn't eat it had slipped his mind.

"Yeah, good luck."

The man almost felt like he was in his youth again, lounging around and doing fuck all like he used to.

So easily he had slipped back into joking around with Maks like he used to. So easily he had slipped back into that more sarcastic mannerism. It wasn't how he had been in the past almost a decade. He'd become a far more mellow person. With Maks here, though, he had gone back to how he was.

Funny how the presence of one person again could change him so much.

"Film should be good."

Makes felt the same way, being a ghost hadn't been easy on him, most people didn't stay stuck between worlds for as long as he had.

Sitting here now just joking around and talking he felt alive again, as if he was a real person again.

"I hope so, I could use a good film, going to have to figure out which parts of my supernatural knowledge is real and how much is media bullshit."

He wanted to know everything and anything about supes.

Lyo grinned as he bent down to take a look at the pizza.

Done.

He was quick to pull it out and plate it up, cutting it up into manageable slices.

After picking up the plate, he made his way out of the kitchen, glancing over his shoulder to make sure Maks was following him.

Maks watched Lyo plate up, his legs swinging as he waited for him.

"Movie time!"

He whooped as he jumped down and chanced after Lyo.

In eight years today, a day when they were just hanging around, was the best one he had.

He followed Lyo, sticking close to him, he could very easily get lost here.

"Yeah, movie time."

It was only a few minutes before they were in the games room.

Lyo had set down his plate on the coffee table in front of one of the couches and was now stood in front of the DVD display, looking for his film choice.

One film caught his eye and he couldn't help but grin.

It was a Vampire film and a horror movie... That would do.

Lyo almost chuckled to himself as he set up the film, makin sure to hide the DVDs cover from Maks. It wasn't 30 days of night, that was for sure.

"Ready for this?" he asked as he skipped past the adverts. "I can put on Russian subtitles for you."

Maks was preoccupied with getting the best viewing spot on the couch as Lyo put the disc in.

"Yeah that'll be good, my English is a little rusty."

Eight years of not speaking it just as he was getting the hang of it hadn't helped his development.

As he put on the subtitles, the film began playing.

It started with a simple forest scene. A very peaceful scene with a deer drinking from a forest scene.

Lyo leant back in his chair and focused on eating his pizza rather than the film.

He didn't really wanna watch this shit. He just wanted to watch Makss suffer.

Makes sat excitedly eagerly awaiting the blood and gore.

He had no idea that he was being pranked at the moment, if he did, not doubt he would not be as calm as he was at the moment.

He glanced over at Lyo eating pizza, a little look of longing in his eyes.

"You're gonna miss the good bits if you keep looking at me."

Good bits. He could have laughed. There were no good bits in Twilight. It was a really shitty film.

Maks could at least say, by the end of it, he had suffered one of the worst horror films in existence, though. If he wasn't too busy trying to plot revenge for Lyo.

Lyo was ognna bet that Maks would be too busy plotting revenge.

Maks grunted a response before looking back at the television, nothing interesting was happening yet anyway.

"When does all the good stuff start happening?"

He asked, at the moment it was all introductory nonsense, he wanted to see some people getting torn apart.

When doe all the good stuff start happening?

Never.

"Be patient," Lyo insisted. He wanted to see how patient Maks could get before realising that he was watching a shitty Vampire romance flick instead of a real horror film.

He was a little glad that he wouldn't get physically punched for this.

He had a feeling that if he could, Maks would knock him out for it.

Maks sat there huffing softly as he waited, that was until the title screen popped up, it took him a few moments to translate it as it didn't show up in the subtitles.

"Twilight...Sumerki...."

Realization struck him as he glared daggers at Lyo.

"The fuck is this?"

He had heard about this movie for all those fawning tweens.

Lyo could feel the daggers boring into him, even though he was focused on the plate sat on his lap.

He couldn't help the grin that was forming on his face.

He was busted.

"It's a Vampire film...and it's definitely horrific," was his only, rather weak, explanation.

Maks gave a snarl as his leg lashed out in Lyo's direction.

Had he actually been able to harm the man, his foot would have gone right into the older Russian's crotch.

"You fucking jerk."

He growled, angrily sulking on the couch.

Lyo felt a chill as Maks' foot passed through his crotch.

He shivered, writhing on the couch a little. That felt weird.

"You wanted a good horror film." The man gave a wide smirk before biting into a slice of pizza.

"This is the most horrific film I could think of."

"You do realise that you're forcing yourself to watch this shit too right?"

It's not like Maks was the only one that had to suffer through this garbage, Lyo was right here beside him.

He let out another growl, kicking Lyo again, if he could he would be beating the man senseless.

"I'm quite happy," Lyo replied with a grin.

He leant back and made himself comfortable on the couch.

"I'm getting my kicks watching your reaction." Seeing Maks go ape over the shittiness of the film was more than enough enjoyment to override actually watching the shitty film.

He was quite happy watching Maks' reactions.

"Fucking hate you."

He grumbled as he grumpily sat there, glaring at the screen.

If he could develop magic ghost powers that would blow up the television right now he would be quite content.

Instead he was stuck sitting here, enduring this because he didn't want to leave Lyo's side right now.

"Love you, too, dickhead."

Lyo grinned at the younger Rus as he made himself more comfortable, ending up sprawled out quite comfortably with one leg kicked up onto the couch.

"Enjoying it so far?"

Maks didn't dignify that with a response, he was irritated, he had been looking forward to that other film, the actual one they were meant to be sitting down to watch, not this bullshit.

He was going to get Lyo back for this, he just had to think of the best way to punish him.

Not letting him sleep sounded like a good idea, keep the man awake until he broke down.

Lyo continued to lay and watch Maks sulking on the couch as the film progressed.

It wasn't long before he'd finished his pizza and was just lounging.

Then he amused himself with asking Maks a few questions.

"So which Vampire is your favourite?"
"If you had to fuck Charlie or Edward, who would you pick?"
"I bet you're hot for Bella. Am I right?"

Any question he knew would get on Maks' nerves.

Maks just continued to get more and more irritated with each question, they were stupid, this entire movie was stupid and at the moment he wanted to kill everyone who starred in it.

"I'm going to make you regret this."

He promised, he was going to make Lyo's life hell for doing this to him.
