[O] Sun and rest, interrupted

Chester grinned softly, he loved the boy's sweet nature.

He leaned into the soft touches of his ears with a purr before wrapping his arms around the boy and cuddling him close.

He nuzzled in against the boy slightly, it was so nice to cuddle someone smaller than him for once.

Darragh returned the cuddle, nuzzling into Chester's chest happily with his own attempt at a purr.

Alek smiled softly as he looked down at the two of them. It looked like he would have to be lending Chester out for babysitting duties every now and again. Darragh looked smitten with his slave.

Alek nudged Lycus and nodded down to the two of them cuddling. It was a cute scene.

Lycus looked over as he was nudged, a small smile gracing his lips before he looked up at Aleksandr warmly.

That was very cute, he hadn't seen their boy show much affection to anyone else beside the two of them.

"Adorable."

He muttered softly, a soft blush gracing Chester's cheeks as he looked up at his Master's.

Still, he stroked the boy's bright hair regardless as he hugged him close.

Alek leaned down to ruffle Darragh's long hair.

"Looks like you need your hair cut soon, Darragh. You're gonna start looking like your uncle soon," he teased. Darragh's hair was getting incredibly long.

Darragh stuck his tongue out at his grandad before burying his face in Chester's chest again.

Chester gave a soft laugh as his Master had a tongue pulled at him by the small boy.

"I think his long hair is cute."

Chester mused, letting the long ringlets curl through his fingers as he combed out his hair softy.

"The colour is beautiful."

Darragh shook his head when Chester combed his fingers through his hair.

"I don't want to look like mommy."

Mommy looked pretty with long hair but Darragh didn't think he would. He was quite happy with his hair at a decent length; meaning that it didn't go below his shoulders.

He knew he'd have his hair cut soon.

Chester cuddle the boy in his lap but also leaned up against his Master, looking up at the man affectionately.

"It's so nice to be included."

He muttered, he got to spend time with the man's family and that made him immensely happy.

Alek smiled down at Chester, running his fingers through the boy's blond hair.

"I think he enjoys including you."

His grandson was definitely smitten with Chester.

"I think you'll be seeing a lot of him in the future."

He gave a gentle purr as his hair was stroked.

"I wont complain about that, he is very sweet."

Darragh had a gentle charm about him, he made everyone around him feel special and right now Chester couldn't help but smile every time he looked down at the boy.

Darragh looked up at Chester as his stomach growled. Loudly.

Moe's head snapped up immediately. "Dinner time," she said, standing up immediately. "Everyone in the diningroom." When someone needed to be fed, Moe was on a mission.

The woman sponged Cinaed off to Lycus as she passed the Elf and immediately began doling out large portions of skirts and kidneys into equally large bowls for her family.

"Lycus. I could make you a salad or something," the woman called out from the kitchen. "Is that okay?"

Chester gave a soft chuckle as he patted Darragh's stomach.

"You sound pretty hungry."
He teased with a bright smile.

"That sounds lovely Moe, thank you."

He replied as he bounced the child he had been tossed playfully.

Lycus preferred Cinaed's calmer personality.

"Uncle Zeke promised gelato but we didn't get any." The boy pouted up at Chester for a moment before turning his gaze on Zeke, smiling innocently. He knew he had dropped his cousin-in-law in it.

Moe, in the kitchen, gave a little growl. "Uncle Zeke promised, did he?" she asked in a soft tone. It was a rule that there were no sweets after lunch when she was looking after Darragh. Sweets ruined the appetite for dinner. Gelato came after dinner.

For that, Uncle Zeke was only getting kidneys and potatos. The best part of the stew was off limits now.

It only took her a few minutes to prepare a goats cheese salad for Lycus, then she was setting everything out on the diningroom table for everyone.

Darragh clung to Chester, determined to sit next to the Hybrid.

Zeke looked up sheepishly at his wife's tone.

"I was trying to calm the kids down after Aodh started the fight."

He muttered, the promise of sweets had distracted them well enough.

Plus, a little bit of gelato wouldn't fill them up too much.

Chester laughed softly as the boy cuddle into him.

"Shall we sit together during lunch?"

He asked the boy, looking up at his Master happily, he liked having a friend, even a very small one.

Moe placed Zeke's bowl (missing the skirts) in front of him with a wide, overly-chipper smile before she began passing out everyone else's lunch.

Darragh looked up at Chester with wide green eyes and gave a nod at the question. "Uh-huh."

Yes. He definitely wanted to sit next to Chester during lunch. He liked the Hybrid.

Zeke went about setting out the cutlery, pouting when he saw the bowl set out at his seat.

Still, he wouldn't complain and invoke Moe's wrath.

"Alright then."

Chester replied as he picked the boy up, nuzzling against him once more before setting him down in the seat beside the one he had chosen.

The hybrid had put himself with Darragh on one side and Aleksandr on the other.

Alek chuckled as his grandson pouted. Ah, there was never a dull moment with his family.

"I think you'll be busy tonight," Alek murmured to Zeke, offering the Romanian a wink as he settled down into his chair.

He took a moment to ruffle Chester's hair before he began eating, making sure to give an appreciative moan when he chewed on a piece of skirt; just to show Zeke what he was missing. Aodh's behaviour wasn't all down to himself. He had gotten some of it from Alek.

Chester gave a soft purr as his hair was ruffled, he loved his hair being played with like that.

Zeke's pout got worse as he sat down and started eating his own meal.

Chester looked down at Darragh as he took a bite of his food.

"This is really yummy."

He purred as he took another mouthful.

"Good, isn't it, Zeke?" Alek teased, hiding his smirk behind a mouthful of potato and kidney. Teasing and messing around with his family was something Alek enjoyed.

Even if it sometimes got him a few kicks.

Darragh looked up at Chester with his spoon in his mouth.

He pulled the spoon from his lips and smiled. His lips were glistening with gravy.

Zeke growled and kicked Alek's leg under the table, he didn't take well to being teased when it came to Moe punishing him.

"Jerk."

He murmured, chewing on his food with less gusto than everyone else.

Chester laughed softly at Darragh's gravy lips, shaking his head a little.

"Best lick your lips so you don't waste gravy."

"Is it really necessary to call your grandfather a jerk?" His mirthful gaze turned to Zephyr. "Do you think I'm a jerk?"

He knew the answer to that one already.

It was along the lines of: Hell fucking yes.

Darragh licked his lips as ordered and returned to his meal without a second thought.

Zephyr looked over at Aleksandr as he ate quietly, he was still putting back on the weight he had lost after weeks in the cage.

"You don't want me to answer that."

He replied as he raised and eyebrow at the man. Zeph adored Aleksandr but he was a royal pain in the ass and the biggest jerk he had the displeasure of knowing.

Chester gave a soft laugh at the antics of the table as he ate contentedly.

"You're right, I don't."

This light-hearted banter was nice. Alek enjoyed being able to relax and joke around like this.

As Moe turned to make sure Luka was feeding himself with any semblance of cleanliness (he wasn't), Alek leaned forwards and deposited a few pieces of skirt meat in Zeke's bowl.

He gave the Romanian Lycan a wink before returning to his own meal like nothing had happened.

Zeke gave a soft smirk and nodded at Alek in thanks as he quickly ate it before Moe saw what had happened.

Zephyr looked around the table fondly. He didn't know these people but they brought Aleksandr much joy so he was thankful for that.

When his eyes landed on Chester he softly apologized to the boy, he had feigned illness and tugged at the boy's heart strings in order to hasten the progress with Alek.

"Theo." He muttered, a smile forming on his lips.

"You are very fortunate."

Alek returned the smile Zephyr was giving him.

He all but ignored the curious looks he was getting. Only the people over three thousand years old and Chester knew that Aleksandr wasn't his birth name. He rarely told others that he was renamed.

"I am very fortunate."

"I think it would be good for me to stay here with your family, I would very much like to get to know them all better."

Aleksandr had family, not just those related to him, his whole pack. he wanted to be a part of that, to be brothers again like they had been, though the dynamic had changed a little, Alek had been the oldest here for so long and had made an Alpha of himself, when was odd for someone who was older than him to be apart of.

Zephyr gave Aleksandr a small sign, one that the young ones at this table would over look, Lycans had changed, they weren't as animalistic as they had been. The more wild ones could no longer exist in today's society.

Still, they were men of the old ways, ones who understood dominance in the pack ranks more than anyone.

As an older wolf Zephyr was not submissive to Aleksandr in age or strength, something like that could cause unease in a pack.

Instead, he tilted his head slightly, a gesture which would seem as though he was just looking back down at his food. In reality he was exposing his jugular to the man, submitting out of respect as a way of formally asking to be pack once again.
