[O] Abandoned

The boy nodded when he was addressed.

Yes, he'd like to watch Pokemon. "Can we watch the sixth movie?" That one was his favourite.

Khaliq grinned at the thought of being able to see his pup again.

"I don't see her enough. I'll have to give her a lot of love tonight."

"Sure."

Rai replied with a smile, she was a fan of the earlier ones but had no qualms about watching the sixth movie.

"You will, you should hear her whine when you leave. Silly girl loves you too much."

It was sad that Liq didn't get to see her much, though she brought the pups to the parlor as much as she could.

Tibor smiled at the woman as he moved to take a seat at the booth with her while they waited.

"Don't say that," Liq groaned softly.

"I don't wanna know that she cries. It's hard enough leaving her as it is." Khaliq loved that dog as much as the dog loved him.

He hated leaving her so much.

Raisa smiled back, reaching over the table to ruffle Tibor's hair softly, he was a little cutie.

The woman turned back to Liq and shook her head softly.
"It's not my fault that it's the truth, she misses you when you're away.

At least try to make it to the salon during your breaks to play with her a little, I bring them down nearly every day."

The boss was fond of the pups and since they were usually very quite and just lay in the staff room he let them hang around.

Tibor ducked his head a little when his hair was ruffled, his lower lip pulling into a little pout.

The Necromancer clicked his tongue.

"I'm going to spend so much time at that salon..."

He'd be there as much as he could afford, spending time with his precious pup.

Raisa had a soft spot for all canines, seeing Liq's little princess sulking around the room was heart breaking, if guilt tripping Liq into spending more time with her at the salon was what it took then so be it.

"I might have to get Zeus fixed soon, otherwise we are going to end up with a tonne of puppies on our hands."

Their pups had grown close and were reaching maturity now, if she left it much longer Liq's pup would go into heat and that would be that.

Still, she didn't like the idea of getting her baby fixed.

"Poor pup. Getting fixed isn't very fun." Khaliq gave a visible wince at the thought. He'd essentially gotten himself fixed and he was rather sore after that experience.

Liq felt sorry for any dog that had to get fixed.

Tibor began picking idly at the feathered skin around his nails.

"You like dogs, kid? Our dogs love anyone that sits still long enough for them to slobber over."

"I know, I am going to feel so guilty for doing it, but we haven't got room for a litter of puppies."

She couldn't look after them on her own and she knew Liq wouldn't be able to bring himself to sell them.

"Zeus will probably sit on you and cuddle up, he thinks he is a cat."

Raisa shook her head with a chuckle, her pup was all legs and quite clumsy in his young age.

The boy smiled softly.

"I've always wanted a dog. Mother said no." But when she had remarried, her husband had said yes, but that wasn't something he could count on now. Or ever, in fact.

He was dead to that family.

But now he had a chance to rebuild new and he was excited for that chance. Raisa and Khaliq were so kind to him. He could see himself becoming friends with them.

"Oh well, I'm sure our pups would love to spend time with you. They befriend anyone who gets close enough to them.

Hope you don't mind big dogs."

She replied with a soft laugh, both of their pups were hardly small and were growing bigger with each day.

Neither of them were the type to bring home a little yappy dog.

"We went out to pick up the dog I had ordered and ended up walking out of the store with two of them."

"Big dogs are nice."

He liked big dogs. They were the best to cuddle with.

Rai's 'not bringing home a yappy dog' streak had come to an end. Puli's were rather small dogs. And Tibor knew his bark was quite a high-pitched little yap.

The boy gave a soft chuckle. "It's so easy to walk into a kennel and covet more dogs than the one you went in for."

Tibor had found himself in that situation before. He'd gone into kennels just to look and found himself wanting so many dogs.

Raisa perked up as the scent of cooked pizza hit her nose even before the little dig of Don's bell to tell them to collect it.

The Lycan was already salivating at the smell of cooked meat.

The woman gave a low whine as the old man boxed the pizzas before dashing to her feet as he put them on the counter.

"Let's hurry home, immediately."

She muttered, clutching onto the boxes.

Khaliq laughed heartily as Rai darted to the counter.

"You're not excited to sink your teeth into your pizza or anything, right, Rai?" the Necromancer chuckled as the woman clutched the boxes tightly.

"Come on, let's head home before she goes feral and tears into the box here and now."

Liq led the way out to the car.

"You're going to have to give up the boxes, Rai. I promise not to eat your share."

No one got between a Lycan as her food, everyone knew that.

Grudgingly she handed over the boxes and opened up the cars door, slipping into the driver's seat and starting up the engine.

"I'm so hungry."

She whined with a pout as they pulled out of the parking lot.

It didn't help that she had been busy lately and living off of junk food, that would be fine except for the lack of her usual bloody steaks.

"I think I'll actually need to feed tonight."

She muttered with a soft huff, her hunger got insatiable when she hadn't had blood. They joys of being a hybrid.

"You've got me all night. No need to worry about it," Liq assured.

He'd let her feed without kicking up a fuss.

He grinned widely. "You might be able to convince me to stay for a couple of days, too. I made a real good haul today." Enough so that one or two days away from work wouldn't be a problem.

Tibor leaned against the back of Rai's seat as he stared out of the car window. His stomach gave a little growl and he ducked his head a little as his cheeks flushed.

"I think you're not the only one who's hungry, Rai."

Rai smiled as she glanced over at Liq, he was being unusually kind tonight.

"Thanks."

She replied, having blood from the source was always more satisfying than a blood bag, though she didn't have it in her to hunt down a human, that was something she had never had to resort to.

"Convincing you shouldn't be hard, a few lazy days lounging around with your pup should be appealing enough."

Buttering him up by using his love for his puppy was the easiest way to get him to stay over.

Raisa chuckled as Tibor's stomach growled, that was adorable.

"Lets get home quick then."

She replied, stepping on the gas and zipping through the streets, down the unlit road which concealed the coven from view.

It didn't take long for them to pull up to the garage where she parked and ushered everyone out of the car and into the house.

Khaliq pursed his lips.

Dirty fighter.

When the three of them climbed out of the car, Tibor stopped, absolutely awestruck. This was only the garage but it was absolutely huge.

As Liq and Rai walked on towards the exit, the Necromancer called back to Tibor.

The Shifter hurried after them. When he was right behind them, the bot reached out to grasp Rai's arm, holding onto her as he looked around. He didnt want to stop and lose the two of them. He knew he'd get lost rather easily here.

Rai smiled softly as Tibor gripped onto her arm, she reached over and took his hand, leading him through the house.

They padded through a little slower than usual so the boy could have a good look.

"I can give you a tour in a little while, first I think food and a movie are in order."

She wanted the boy warmed up and comfortable before they worried about showing him around.

She led him through the building and up to her room, seemed everyone else had moved out and she was on her own now, which she didn't mind.

As soon as the door opened excited barks and yaps sounded as the two dogs jumped off of Rai's bed and jumped up onto Liq.

Tibor nodded.

Food did sound like a good idea before they explored this absolutely huge place.

Khaliq grinned as he was jumped at.

He wrapped his arms around both dogs and hugged them as he was attacked with puppy kisses.

"It's so good to see you, too," he crooned at the pups.

The pups whine and cuddled against Liq eagerly, lapping and slobbering all over his face.

Rai led Tibor inside and set the pizzas out on her bed before moving to put the movie on.

So there was enough room for all she dragged one of the now vacant beds over and pressed it beside hers to make a rather large bed for them all to sit and relax on.

Chances were the dogs would worm their way onto it as well.

The woman wasted no time in handing out the food and sitting down, almost inhaling her first piece in a few bites.

Tibor sat on the bed that he was led to, taking his pizza eagerly.

Eventually Liq tore himself away from the pups and almost dived onto the bed next to Rai, just as the movie began.

"Score," he called out as he settled down with his own box of pizza. He didn't miss any of the movie. Liq was a huge fan of Pokémon. He'd hate missing any of the movie.

The young Shifter took a bite out of his pizza, purring softly as the taste of the salty fish washed over his tongue.

As the three of them sat on the bed to watch the movie and eat pizza the two dogs jumped up on the bed and sprawled out.

The pups knew well enough that they would get what ever was left over and had learned not to beg or try to steal food.

Rai ate her second piece a little more calmly, tossing a few pieces of bacon and ham that fell off of the overloaded slice for Zeus to chew on happily.

The great dane lay on his back, his head perched on Rai's legs, lazily waiting to be fed more scraps.
