[O] Abandoned

"It's alright, go lay down in the van."
She prompted, stroking his back softly.

Raisa looked around, making sure no humans were peeking through windows or roaming the streets.

After she was sure she wouldn't be seen her boy moved faster than a human possibly could, and with a lot more grace, she picked up anything that could be saved, anything at all.

Bundle by bundle she placed it carefully in the van before going for another armful.

Tibor laid on the back of the car, curled up into a little ball.

Khaliq approached Rai as she began collecting stuff together.

"What's going to happen to the kid, Rai? This isn't something that you can recover from easily."

Khaliq was genuinely worried about what would happen to Tibor. Being kicked out like this was a terrible thing. Khaliq was worried the boy wouldn't be able to get over this.

Raisa looked up at Liq as he approached, giving a soft sigh at his question.

"I have no idea, I'm just taking care of what needs to happen first.

I'm gonna get his stuff, take him to the coven where he can be safe and warm, then..."

Her lips pursed a little as she looked up at Khaliq worriedly.
"Then I don't know what happens, he hasn't told me much, everything I've found out is through guessing."

The woman ran her hand through her hair, a nervous habit she did when she got stressed.

"I want to help him, he is only a pup and he has been tossed aside like this, I have to help him, but I don't know how..."
She had always been a bit of a loner, only looking out for herself, she didn't know how to help others.

Khaliq's hand rested on her shoulder gently.

"I think first thing's first, we should be friends for him."

Tibor needed someone to rely one. A friend. It seemed like he had nothing now. A friend would be something he really needed to get through this.

"And maybe he'll tell us what happened and we can help further from that."

Khaliq leaned down to hoist a bag up onto his shoulder.

"I think we have everything. Let's go get him back to the coven."

This whole situation left a horrible taste in her mouth and a churning in her gut, she had a feeling that they hadn't even seen the worst of it yet.

She desperately wanted to go home and curl up in Liq's lap for a long while.

Raisa and emotions did not mix well.

"Alright."

She muttered as she padded back toward the car and put the last of what was in her arms into the back, they had gathered what they could.

She slipped behind the wheel when they were ready and started toward the coven.

"How about we all stop for some pizza?" Liq suggested as the car started up again.

"We can get a load of pizza, pop and as much sugary crap as we can manage then we can all lay around up at the coven and chow down?"

Something nice and casual. The heaviness in the air was dragging everyone down. They needed something more light-hearted than this.

Tibor's eyes flickered up to Khaliq then to Raisa.

"Sure, sounds good."

Raisa muttered as she looked up to Liq with a soft smile, he could be a kind man when he tried, which wasn't often.

The woman made a quick u-turn and headed toward their usual place, pulling up to the front door.

She turned to look toward Tibor with a gentle smile, nodding toward the inviting store.

"You hungry? Best pizza in town."

They could grab them to go as well as a bunch of other goodies then watch a movie and lounge around with the pups.

The boy gave a little nod.

"Want any pizza in particular?" Liq asked as he pushed himself out of the car. "Or do you wanna come in and see what there is?"

Tibor bit his lip. "Can I come with?"

Liq nodded. "Of course. Come on, let's go get as much junk food as we can carry. You coming with, Rai?"

Liq patted Tibor's shoulder when he climbed out of the car.

"Duh!"

Raisa replied, perking up a lot at the mention of food, Liq was right for once, it was best to be his friend, be there for him if he wanted to open up.

The woman climbed out of the car and headed into the store. Like every time she entered she leaned over the counter until her legs were dangling in the air and pressed a kiss to the old man's cheek, who chuckled softly and greeter her.

"Meat lovers with extra sauce and bacon?"

The old man asked with a smile, the hybrid nodded enthusiastically.

"We'll have it to go tonight, what do you two want?"
She asked, looking over her shoulder at the two boys.

"Hey, Don. Back again."

He'd been here earlier in the evening before work.

"I'll have Hawaiian again. What do you want, kid? I got it the bill tonight." Tonight Liq would be incredibly nice.

Rai would have to give him a good reward for being nice like this.

Ti looked over the menu slowly.

"Could I have anchovy, please?" he asked, eyes flickering up to Liq.

"Hear that, Don?" Liq asked.

A slice of uncooked pepper flew through the air and hit Liq on the cheek. "My hearing's not that old, boy."

"I should just set up a tent in the parking lot and live here."

Raisa mused as she plonked down in her usual spot, she loved it here, Don was normally very generous with the extra toppings on her pizzas.

Her eyes trailed over the drinks fridge and the confectioneries on the counter.

"Liq, can we get gummy worms and coke?"

She asked, sprawling out in the booth lazily.

Ti gave a soft giggle as the pepper splat against Liq's face, turning around and rested his hand on top of his mouth to try and hide it.

Liq grinned towards Rai.

He'd gotten the boy to laugh; granted it was at his own misfortune.

"I don't know, Raisa, can we get gummy worms and coke?"

The woman's huffed softly, Liq's charity had ended as fast as it started.

She pulled a twenty out of her pocket and held it in the air for him as she lay down.

"Yes..."

She grumbled, seemed she was forking out for this lot then. The sweets had been seen, now she had to have them.

Liq had wanted her to ask nicely for the sweets.

But he wouldn't complain if she wanted to pay for the sweets.

Liq grinned as he leaned over to kiss her, taking the twenty from her. "Thank you."

The man turned around to Ti. "Go ahead and pick some sweets and pop out. We're going to be as unhealthy as possible tonight."

She would rather fork out the money than ask nicely anyway, she knew how much Liq liked to see her beg when she wanted something, she went through it every full moon.

Rai kissed him back before pushing herself to sit up.

"I'll eat most of them so spend the whole twenty otherwise you two wont get any."

She had a Lycan's stomach, there was no use getting only one packet and one bottle, it wouldn't even satisfy her let alone the two of them.

"Looks like we've gotten a free ticket to splash out."

Khaliq grinned widely as he made his way towards the sweets selection.

"Help me pick out some nice things, kid."

Ti moved towards the sweets at Liq's prompt and pointed out a few things that he liked as Liq piled up a load of bags of sweets.

She didn't mind, business was booming and she had little else to spend her money on since rent was free.

Her paycheck went into food for her and the pups as well as dog toys and online shopping.

She was an absolute sucker for buying things online cheap.

Raisa pushed herself to her feet and padded over, added a bag of gummy worms and chocolate covered caramel as well as a large bottle of coke.

The Shifter hung back as Rai stepped forwards to dump more things in Liq's arms.

It looks like they were all set to spend days holed up eating nothing but sugary crap.

Liq dumped everything on the counter and leaned against it.

"Last call. Anyone want anything else?" the Necromancer asked.

Rai looked over the selection and shook her head.
"Nope, looks good to me."

She replied with a little grin, it was enough to feed a small army, or one very hungry Lycan.

"I'm looking forward to a night in, should be fun to vege out."

They had both been working hard and the time they spent together each night was a little more intense than just laying around.

Liq hummed in agreement.

He had very different things planned for tonight, but vegging out didn't sound like a horrible option, either.

Tonight would just be a nice of laying around munching on sugary crap and joking around.

Liq could steal Rai away for different activities tomorrow.

Raisa nuzzled up against Liq with a soft purr. She was proud of the man taking it so well.

Last time he had sex planned and she cancelled on him, he had sulked for days.

Still, it was because this wasn't just about her, someone else needed them right now.

That was exactly the reason he wasn't sulking right now.

There was someone else involved.

Someone who had obviously been through a hell of a lot of shit that needed to be with people and he'd taken to Rai.

This was something unavoidable.

He'd bitch at her tomorrow when he had all of her attention.

Raisa made her way to sit back in their booth as she waited for the pizza's to be done.

"So what movie shall we watch tonight, I just downloaded a bunch of new releases and some classics."

Thank the Gods that the mansion had fast internet speeds because she took full advantage of it.

"How about we go oldschool again and watch some good old Pokemon?"

You could never go wrong with Pokemon.

Tibor perked up a little at the mention of Pokemon. He was a big fan of Pokemon. He definitely wouldn't mind sitting and watching one of the movies. Or two.

Maybe even sit through a marathon.

"Sounds good to me, what do you think Tibor?"
She asked, looking over at the boy with a soft smile.

Everyone had to love Pokemon, you were strange if you didn't like it.

She had a whole collection of the movies now, not to mention her plushies, which she had saved from either dog chewing up.

"I think your baby will be happy to see you Liq."
