[C] Flappy Bird

Tik's pierced lip pushed out in an almost pout.

No dates.

That was saddening. Why wouldn't people stock dates? They were amazing. Dates made the world go around.

Sulking just a little, the man reached for a banana.

That would do, he supposed.

It was no date, though.

He felt a little bad, looking at Tik's sulking face. 

Maybe he should go back to the kitchen and look for them?

...

Opening up the tumblr app, he came to his conclusion: Nah.

Rolling his tongue piercings over the front of his teeth, he began scrolling through his dash in favour of dwelling on the date ordeal. Liking and reblogging whatever went with his blogs. And why would someone blog a picture of dates?

Glancing over to his brother, he check that he gotten over the traumatic experience with the lack of dates.

Tik hadn't really gotten over the experience.

But he was sat silently eating his banana, not looking up. Between bites he was still pouting just a little.

He wanted dates.

But he would have to deal. And he definitely knew what he'd be buying next time he went to town. He'd stock up on dates. Create his own little stash.

He rolled he golden eyes. Nope. 

Sometimes, he felt more like the older brother.

Extending his leg, he prodded his brother with his foot.

"We should go to town some time, so you can get some."

Plus it will give him an excuse to find the local starbucks. And maybe a job. 

He grimaced a little at the thought.

Tik's golden eyes flickered up when Amr spoke.

His lips curled up into a little smile in response. He'd like that. He'd like to take a trip down into town with his brother and just enjoy the it.

Until he had to go food shopping, that was. Then he knew he really wouldn't enjoy it. Food shopping was always hell. He usually just held into the back of Amr's shirt, or the end of his scarf and just zoned out as Amr did all the shopping.

It was just so boring.

His own lips curled. He felt a little less guilty for not getting his bothers favourite food now.

They could go down into down in the next few day. Maybe even tomorrow? He was craving a good coffee. 

He voiced his thoughts, moving onto the packeted cakes in the pile of food. The half empty bottle of milk left down on the floor to be forgotten.

Tik nodded.

Going out tomorrow sounded good. The two of them could get all the necessities they'd need for staying here for a while.

When Amr opened up the packet cakes, Tik opened his mouth a little.

A silent request to be fed.

Tik had quite a nasty sweet tooth. Cake was almost as good as dates. Almost.

He hadn't even taken a bit out of it and his brother already wants it.

Eyes on his brothers mouth, he raised the pierced eyebrow. Rolling his eyes, he leaned over and shoved the whole cake into his mouth. That will keep him satisfied

"There you go."

Tik grunted softly when the cake was shoved in his mouth.

But he started chewing happily, his cheeks puffing out as they were filled with the spongy cake.

He looked almost like a hamster with his cheeks stretched around his food like that.

Tik was content now.

It was pretty hilarious watching his brother eat the cake.

Before he reached for another, he lifted his phone and snapped a photo of his brother and his puffed out cheeks.

"That should go on instagram."

Tik froze when he heard the snap of the camera.

No fucking way.

His foot lashed out to kick his brother's side violently.

"Delethe ith," he growled around the food in his mouth. He didn't want any pictures of himself to even exist. He hated photographs.

He let out a yelp as he foot dug into his side, free hand shooting down to protect his already bruised ribs. 

"But it is cute."

People would eat it up.

He turned the phone around to show him. Not extending his arm in case his brother snatched it out of his hand. He really did not trust his brother with his own phone.

Tik glared up at his brother, chewing on his cake still.

His foot pressed even harder into his brothers ribs when his phone was showed to him.

"Delethe ith," he murmured again.

No pictures.

He held onto the foot, trying to claw it off as he shuffled away.

"Come on. It is only one photo."

He pushed out hit own leg to shove Tik away and off his rib cage, using his height to his advantage.

He did not really get why his brother did not like his picture taken. It was not like he was disgustingly unattractive. And, sure, the picture was not the most flattening - but it had its own charm.

Tik shook his head and swallowed the chewed up doughnut in his mouth.

"No."

He didn't want his picture taken.

The man slumped when he was pushed away by his brother, crossing his arms over his chest.

He sighed as his brother did not comply, rubbing his sore rib cage.

The younger looked down at the photo longingly. It would be nice to at least ave a couple of photos of him.

"Okay, I won't post it on instagram. but at least let me keep it?"

Golden eyes looked up at his brother hopefully.

Tik pouted, looking like a grumpy little child for a long moment.

"Fine."

Amr could keep it as long as no one else saw it.

He didn't like his picture being taken at all. It made him uncomfortable. He didn't want anyone being able to look at him whenever they wanted to.

But Amr was his brother. He supposed he could let it happen just this once.

He grinned.

"Thank."

Keeping to his promise, he did not post the photo on instagram (or any other photo sharing site - which he did not specifically promise not to post the photo on). Instead, he left it on his memory card.

He liked photos. Looking back at them, relieving memories of that moment in time. It was fun. Especially when he remembering something that he has forgotten. The attention they got on the internet was a bonus. A big, ego stroking bonus. 

Grabbing a cake for himself he began eating, turning his attention back to his phone.

Tik just grunted and kicked his brother again.

He hated losing these little battles with his brother but there was little he could do in this situation so he just had to let it die.

Tik opened his mouth for another cake again, staring silently at Amr as he waited.

His ribs were going to be black and blue at this rate.

Rubbing them, he glanced up at his brother and his open mouth again.

The cake was already partly eaten. A lot more easier for someone to eat in one go.

"Open your mouth wider."

He was gonna throw it.

Tik arched a brow in response to the order.

No.

He wasn't going to become a new game for Amr. He just wanted cake.

He really didnt want to have to attempt to brush all the crumbs off his face because Amr missed.

He threw the cake anyway.

It as his own fault if it bounced off his face. He did tell him to open it wider.

He should listen to him more.

Tik grunted when the cake hit him. In the eye.

He raised a hand to rub his eye, trying to dislodge the crumbs that had gotten into it.

The man's foot lashed out once again to beat up his brother in revenge.

That had hurt.

He coughed out a laugh, a little winded that time.

It was still pretty hilarious watching the cake bounce of his eyes and fall too the floor. The foot to his gut was totally worth it.

"Told you to open you mouth."

Tik grunted a soft insult under his breath as he tried to rub the crumbs out of his eye.

He hated it when Amr did things like this. They were painful.

Tears rolled down the man's cheek as his eye began to water; the kohl that had been lining his eyes smearing a little.
