He winced a little as she tugged his hair, sliding up into her lap obediently.

"I'm not sulking," he muttered in return in a very sulky tone.

"I know," he murmured softly. "I love you." He'd never doubt that Lia loved him he just couldn't. It wasn't possible.

Noam had been avoiding him? Because... because of Zakhar? The Rus felt bad. He hadn't wanted to push the two of them apart.

Zak pressed a soft, lingering kiss to Lia's lips. "You should be taking care of Coilean."

He had started sulking because he hadn't been given one kiss. It was a childish reason. Right now he wasn't the one that should be keeping Lia's attention. Coilean had done exactly what she wanted him to to get her undivided attention for a time.

The Lycan slid off her lap after giving her one last peck and moved to kneel at her feet, resting his hands on his knees.

"I know." She muttered, she had made a promise to Coilean and she intended to keep it.

It was about time they had some time together on their own, she kissed him back and stroked his hair softly as he knelt down at her feet.
