Overdue Conversations with a Madman [M]

Despite them both being such cold creatures, Jenevieve felt so warm in Smiley's embrace. Their hearts beat as one and their bodies seemed to blend together as one being. She had only ever felt that level of attraction and emotional bond with one other person in her life.

Were she more alert in the moment a consuming guilt might have clawed at the woman's soul. But in her dizzy and exhausted after glow no such emotion was able to manifest itself.

His gentle touches did in fact lull her to sleep, her breathing picking up just slightly, making it clear to the man holding her that she was gone in slumber.
