Meeting Someone New (Camille and Alyosha)

Lyo nodded.

"There are many good book here. Hard to choose just one to read first," he chuckled.

He needed to pick a book. One. Just one to start himself off.

...Why was it so difficult to pick a book?

He pursed his lips and reached out blindly, picking one book at random.

He looked down at the cover and smiled. Ancient Egyptian Mythology. He was pleased with that. He loved ancient Egypt.

The boy sat silently, changing positions so that he was sat cross-legged in the chair, his tiny body dwarfed by the chunky cushions. His eyes watched the man closely in thought.

He looked just like him.

Completely. The long, blond hair, the pale skin, the scar, even his background, the Russian accent. It was only his eyes and his sense of fashion that looked different about him.

And...

He kept expecting him to turn around and shout at him, come over here and pull his hair, tear it out, hit him. But he didn't. And it kept him in suspense because he kept expecting him to.

His legs were trembling even now, though he had calmed down a bit.

Alyosha gave the boy a smile as he padded forwards to sit in the chair next to him.

He leaned back, shifting a little until he was comfortable before setting the book in his lap and opening it up.

The library was always a great place to sit and read. It was quiet and the chairs here were comfortable.

A small smile quirked his lips as his eyes passed over the words scrawled onto the old pages of the book.
