Fatal Meeting (Ev and Zakhar)

"Evgeni. Yevgeniy. Eugene." he tasted the different variations of the name on his tongue.

"Well born. Were you a noble once upon a time? Or maybe poor family pretending to be noble." Both were likely.

His fingers descended to the man's neck. "Leather? Or perhaps choke chain would be better first?"

The werewolf bristled a little at the suggestion that his family... whoever they were... had been pretentious.

"I don't remember my childhood." he replied shortly.

Evgeni had been kidnapped by his master at a very young age, and couldn't remember anything of his family. Even his surname had been adopted from his master. Some people would have found it sad, perhaps, but as he couldn't remember them, he felt that there was nothing to be sad about.

He didn't feel as though he had lost anything.

The man frowned in confusion.

"What are you talking about?" His English still wasn't very good, and he wasn't sure what Zakhar had meant.

"Childhood years are best years of life."

It was a shame the man didn't remember his childhood years. His childhood years were the ones that he cherished most.

"Collar," he gave in way of explanation, his hand slipping around the man's throat to grip it like Evgeni had done to him previously.

"Jar to suffocate little dragonfly in." He slowly began to squeeze the man's throat.

Evgeni ignored the comment. His childhood certainly hadn't been the best years of his life. Not from what he remembered of it, anyway. He hated that saying. It reminded him of what he hadn't had. What he hadn't experienced.

He laughed lightly at the comment. Collar? He wouldn't wear a collar. Why on Earth did the man think that he could make him wear one? "I don't wear-"

His words were cut off as hands gripped his throat, scrabbling at the man's arms as he struggled to breathe, nails digging into the skin. A quiet whine escaped him, struggling.

Zakhar gave a chuckle at the weak attempts to dislodge his arm.

Perhaps breaking the man would be easier than he thought if he was this weak. It may not even be a challenge; what a disappointment that would be.

Mercifully, he loosened his grip on the man's throat so he could breath without struggle.

"Choke chain first. You can work your way up to leather."

He panted as he was released, glaring up at the man as he tried to move his neck out of Zakhar's grasp unsuccessfully.

"What makes you think I wear a collar? I no wear it."

There was no doubt about it in his voice. Who did this man think he was? He was a complete stranger. Evgeni didn't let anybody own him, and he would be damned if he would ever wear a collar.

He stroked the man's cheek gently.

"Evgeni, dear little dragonfly, you have no choice. You will wear collar and soon you'll wear it proudly like other Slave."

His lips quirked upwards as his hand slid lower, hooking under the first button of his shirt and yanking. The button flew off and he caressed the revealed skin.

"I no be slave..."

His face paled, starting to panic now. He had been a slave of sorts before, and he didn't want to go back to that. His accent came back stronger and thicker with the fear, suddenly feeling very trapped.

His mind rushed back to the first day. Zeke said he had no intentions. Was the pack working together? Were they like the pack he came from?

"Zeke said I safe here..."

He let out a snarl as Zakhar began to unbutton his top, writhing in his grip.

"You'll be safe enough."

Zeke? He didn't know him.

His fingers continued to caress Evgeni's neck and chest gently.

A panicked man was something he wouldn't have the tolerance to deal with at the moment. He'd keep the man calm with soft words and gentle actions. It was the easiest way forwards.

His heart rate began to slow down with the soft caresses and words, but continued to kick and scratch at the man's arms, fighting to get free.

Zakhar said he'd be a slave, but he wasn't trying to capture him... he couldn't see anybody else for back up, and he wasn't trying to take him anywhere, so what...? He didn't know what was happening and that frightened him.

He lay still and stared up at him in confusion.

"I do not understand."

"The slaves you know work for powerful people, da? Manual labour, doting on Master."

Zakhar shook his head and tore another button from the man's shirt, caressing the newly revealed skin.

"Is not Slave I deal with."

He bowed to feather gentle kisses along the man's neck before nipping a patch of skin, sucking on it, tongue laving over it. he didn't pull back until he had left a dark mark.

Evgeni tensed in the man's grip as he registered the meaning of Zakhar's words. He didn't submit. No. He had to be the one in control, not anybody else. If you submitted... in any circumstance... you were weak, you wouldn't survive.

He needed to survive.

Being used for sex wasn't something that bothered him hugely. It wasn't life-threatening, and therefore, he could deal with it. But he wouldn't submit that easily.

His long nails dug into the man's wrist sharply, drawing blood as he twisted below him with a snarl.

Zakhar tutted softly when Evgeni clawed at the skin of his wrist.

"I will have many mark. You will make Lino very jealous if you leave so many mark on me." It would be amusing to see the boys reaction to the marks, though.

His lips quirked upwards into a grin. Evgeni wasn't willing to submit. He was very much a dominant man. It would make this much more amusing than he first thought. Evgeni would provide a challenge.

"Po-skoro ot men." he muttered to himself.

That was how his experience of life had been. It was either you or them. You had to defend yourself, even if that meant attacking others, because that was the only way to survive. Sometimes he went overboard, yes, but at least he could look after himself.

He dug his nails deeper into the man's wrist, dragging them down to leave long scrapes as he sank his teeth into the man's collarbone, growling.



(Translation: "Rather you than me.")

Zakhar gave a low, husky laugh when the man's teeth sank into his collarbone.

"Lino will think I laid with possessive lover. So many love bites and scratches." It amused him how much the man was biting and scratching him. Like a scared animal looking to be released.

"Perhaps I should show you Lino and where you will stay from now on."

Now the man was his, he would stay with him.

"I have a room?"

He had just been sleeping in the hospital wing, and he had found it blissfully comfortable after having slept on the streets for the past month. The thought of having a room, though admittedly shared with others, and this man, seemed almost too good to be true.

He was a little wary of sharing a room with Zakhar, but if he picked up his stuff, he could get his knives. He could look after himself.

"Da, you have a room."

A room shared with four other them, two of them absolute perverts, one that seemed to be non-existent and the last was quiet and kept to himself.

Until he got less...teeth and nail friendly, he'd be staying in Lino's bed. There was no way he'd have Evgeni near Lino if he continued to lash out like he was doing.

Evgeni stopped struggling, staring up at him as he weighed over the options in his mind. If he lived in the room with this man, he risked becoming a slave, or whatever the man was talking about, and he didn't know what Zakhar would do.

He could continue to sleep in the hospital wing, but they were bound to kick him out sooner or later, now that he was pretty much recovered, so even then he would eventually have to make a decision.

And he could leave, but he would have to sleep on the streets, with no food,no job, no shelter, and a chance of his old pack finding him again. Not to mention, in those conditions, still recovering from injuries, who knew how long it would be before he got sick... or worse.

"Where is it?" he mumbled, giving in.

Zakhar's lips quirked upwards.

Caught.

"I can show. I will release now. Do not scratch or bite." He had more than enough scratches or bite marks from the man and he hadn't even begun training yet.

This one was going to be hell to train to breaking point.

He was going to enjoy every minute of it.

Zakhar's hand slid from the man's wrists and he stood, offering a hand down to help the man up.

Evgeni nodded silently.

He wouldn't struggle this time. He needed to be able to stay here, whatever that meant. For his own safety and wellbeing.

The man stood up, brushing himself down and holding his shirt. He backed away a little from Zakhar, eyeing him suspiciously, but did not attack.

He needed this room.

The Russian arched a brow when Evgeni backed away from him.

He gave a little hum as he walked forwards, hooking an arm around the older man's shoulders and guiding him forwards.

"You will share with four other. All Volk." They were lucky enough to all be paired together. It meant there'd be no tension between Elves or Vampires and the wolves. It was ideal.

His shoulder twitched as Zakhar put an arm around him, holding back a growl. Evgeni didn't enjoy physical contact at the best of times, least of all after the person involved had pinned him down and... whatever the hell that was.

He allowed himself to be led forwards, brushing the hair out of his eyes as he walked ahead. The Lycan didn't look back at Zakhar as he walked on briskly, shaking the arm off his shoulder.

"I will not be spending much time with them." he announced, still not bothering to look back at him.

Other people were none of his concern. Only he was his concern, and at the moment, he wanted to sleep.

So adverse to touch. That would change in time.

"Lie. You will spend much time with Lino and I." He'd make Lino and Evgeni familiar with each other. Both needed to know that he had another Slave and they weren't the only ones.

Perhaps they'd even grow fond of each other.

That would make his life easier.

"I do not like people." he lit a cigarette, taking a long drag to calm his nerves, eyes sliding closed. This was just another phase of his life. He would survive it, like anything else.

He did not enjoy the company of other vŭltsi. They were agressive, they were a threat, and some could overpower him. It was rare for a Lycan to enjoy being alone but, perhaps because of his past, he did.

Although he would enjoy some order in his life for a change. He couldn't mind that.

Zakhar responded to the other man's statement with an oh-so-king, totally uncaring reply of: "Don't care."

He reached forwards, swiping Evgeni's cigarette and inhaling the acrid smoke, exhaling it on a slow breath.

It had easily been a few weeks since he had last helped himself to a cigarette. He wasn't a heavy smoker, but he did like one now and again. Usually when he was drinking mass amounts of alcohol.

"Lino is quiet; he shouldn't bother you much."
