Rusty Spotted...Kitten?

Jason looked at Jean with a spark of amusement in his eyes, rather then terror. Glaring really does not work when you are a ball of fluff that can easily fit into the palm of a hand.

Watching Jean curl up and sulk he nudged and licked the top of his head before laying in front of him, so his face was almost nose to nose with Jean's.

The younger hand only tried three times.

Mewling to gain his attention completely, he nudged his arms a little to try and uncurl him in an attempt to make him stand and walk again.

The kitten huffed and batted at Jace's nose as he was nudged.

No.

No more trying. He wanted to sulk for a bit. He'd try again later. But for now he was quite content to sit curled in a ball and do nothing but sulk over his failure.

Jason wriggled his nose and scrunched his face up as Jean batted his nose with his itty-bitty paw.

He battered Jean back - but softly, in case he squashed him. He was sure Gabriel would not be too happy with him if he told him he had squashed him boyfriend by accident when he first transformed.

Standing back up, he nudged Jean a little more forcefully, so that he would uncurl himself, or roll over onto his back.

He mewled softly as he was batted, forepaws curling around Jace's paw. His hind paws scraped against Jace's arm as his tiny teeth bit into the paw. His tail swayed in the air in his annoyance as his chest rumbled with quiet growls.

When he was nudged again, he rolled onto his back and gave Jace an unamused look.

He stuck his tiny pink tongue out of his mouth.

He stuck his tongue back out a Jean, trying to subdue the urge to turn back into a human just for that he could squeal at how cute Jean was.

Nudging Jean back over so that he was on his side, he tried to push the kitten back up again so he could attempt to walk, despite whatever protests he may throw his way.

Jean's paw swiped out at Jace's nose again.

He didn't want to be nudged and poked and prodded. He wanted to sit and sulk.

A quiet growl rumbled in his chest, ears pinning back against his head.

Jason wriggled his nose again another paw battered at him. But he ignored it, and the little growl, continuing to nudge Jean in his attempt to force him to learn how to walk on four legs.

Feeling that he may be a little to soft, he pushed the smaller cat a little harder - the worry of hurting him almost thrown out of the window.

He hissed, claws lashing out over Jace's nose.

Without thinking he darted away from the larger cat. His strides were shakey but he managed to get a good few metres away before he realised he was walking and fell to the ground.

The young vampire growled in annoyance and curled into a ball again, tail flicking agitatedly.

Jason jumped as claws swiped over his nose, making him almost miss Jean dart away from him.

He was Impressed with how far he got before falling flat on his face.

Feeling he was no use as a cat (not being able to talk and not that big, and a tad bit too small, even as a fully grown cat), he shifted until he was back into his human form.

Shuffling over to the fluff known as Jean-Claude, face split in a grin of amusement, he tried to pride the kitten apart again.

"Why are you sulking again? You just managed to run a few meters, didn't you?"

Jean-Claude hissed loudly, ears pinning back on his head.

He was sulking because he had fallen down again. He thought he had been doing well then he tripped over his damned paws and ate a mouthful of dirt.

Not fun.

He clawed at the man's hand.

Jason's cheeks inflated as he pouted, carefully trying to to avoid the kittens claws before giving up. He inspected the scratches, deeming that they will just heal by themselves.

Jade eyes looked back down at Jean-Claude, and he gently prodded the kittens head with his finger.

"Rather then sulking, why don't you try turning back? And try walking, or tripping over your own feet in your case, another time?"

The finger that was prodding Jean began to gently scratch behind his ear as he spoke.

Turning back. Good idea.

...How did he do that?

A slow purr rumbled in his chest when the man began to scratch behind his hear, eyes sliding shut and head moving into the touch.

Jason squealed softly to himself as he listed to Jean purr and push his tiny head into the digit of his finger.

Very gently and slowly, he scooped Jean-Claude's little and fluffy body up and held him close to his chest. He began to pet Jean, running his finger along Jean's soft body, before scratching behind his ear again, cooing out: "So cute~!"

He should have been more annoyed that he was about being called cute.

But the stroking just felt so damned good.

He purred loudly, nuzzling against the older vampire's chest; small, rough tongue lapping out over his skin in encouragement.

Jason squealed again, this time a little more loudly, as he watched Jean nuzzle and lick his chest.

He continued to fuss the bundle on fur for a few more minutes, cooing and awing, before lifting him so that they were face to face.

"Maybe I should just make you stay like this forever?" He teased, grinning at Jean.

He purred loudly, enjoying the fussing far too much.

But when he was pulled away, dangling in the air from Jace's hold, his head began to clear.

He gave the older man a flat look, claws swiping out at his face, ears pinned back on head and hissing loudly.

No. Absolutely not. He was not going to stay like this.

He quickly put the kitten at arms length, avoiding his face being scratched. He giggled at the obvious aversion at his suggestion.

"Well, at this rate, looks like my suggestion would become reality, if you don't turn back." It was jokingly stated, nobody stayed in there transformations forever.

... Right?

His own smile fell as he started to rethink what he stated, unsure now whether Jean would turn back human or not.

Jean-Claude froze.

He didn't know how to turn back. How could he do something he didn't know how to do?

He was half-way to panicking now. Would he be able to transform back? He didn't know what to do. He didn't know what to do!

His wide blue eyes turned on Jace for help.

Jason tried to calm his own internal panic down.

Oh god, Gabriel really will kill him if Jean stayed as a rusty spotted cat forever. He was the one that encourager Jean to try and transform. Hell, he did not think Jean would even be able to of transformed right that second.

Looking into the the big blue eyes, Jason took a deep breath, trying to remember what he did when he first transformed mack into a human.

"Err... Try and concentrate on your human form, and imagine yourself back as human?"

He tried to keep his voice sure, as if he knew what he was doing. Normally, for him, going back of forth between transformations became so natural and fluid that he forgot exactly how he did it.

Oh God, oh God, Jace was panicking, too?

Shitshitshitshitshit.

Not good.

He tried to calm his panic and focus on being human. But no matter how hard he tried he couldn't calm himself enough.

Jason took a few more deep breaths to clear his mind, placing the panicking kitten on grass.

"Okay, maybe it is best that we calm down?"

His hand went back to Jean's head to fuss it, in a attempt to calm the younger male down, chewing his lip.

"Try what I said a few minutes ago. I think that will work...?"

His panic slowly began to subside as the man began to stroke him.

He gave a pathetic little mewl, looking up at Jace with his wide, blue eyes - considerably less panicked than they had been moments ago.

Jean-Claude bobbed his head and tried to focus on becoming human.

Jason continued to chew his lip as he watched the kitten - which with hopefully take on a human form again soon.

Pulling his hand away, he waited, a little unsure on whether this was taking to long or not. For him, transforming to one thing to another took a matter of seconds, no deep concentration involved. Though he assumed for someone new at this, it would be different?

How would he go about turning back into a human?

Picture himself, he guessed.

The tip of his tongue stuck out of his mouth as he concentrated on himself as a human, eyes sliding closed.

It took a few long minutes but eventually he did transform back.

His eyes slid open and he looked down, turning his hand over, inspecting it.

He didn't really care about how naked he was. He'd stripped for far too many people to care.

His body was slim and muscular but not creepily so. There were no scars or freckles blemishing his chest. The only thing that could even be considered a blemish was the silver bar through one nipple.

"Next time you want me to try something like that, hit yourself for me, will you?"

Jason moved back a little, letting go of the breath he was holding in relief. Thank God that he turned back in the end.

His eyes slowly looked over Jean's naked body, not so subtly. His tongue darted across his upper lip, before he looked back up into Jean's blue eyes.

"Well, you are defiantly not a kitten any more."

He tried to resist the urge to reach out and touch the other man, reminding himself that he just avoided Gabriel wringing his neck.
