| Emory had always eaten very little, people in the coven would have noticed that already. On the rare occasions that he opened a blood bag he would barely have a few mouthfuls.
When he was young he had always been a fussy eater, over time that had intensified.
It was a common rule in the coven, no one was to go into Emory's room, he liked his privacy.
A few days prior in the dead of night he had gone out, returning without a word, without being seen, shutting himself into his bedroom for all that time.
He hadn't emerged or made a single sound for almost a week.

| It went without saying that to be a vampire was particularly peculiar in quite a few ways. But one such oddity that wasn't typically at the forefront of one's mind was the aspect of time.
Time could be so useless to someone who would never age. It was easy for years to slip by if a vampire wasn't careful. After all, when one could live for centuries, 365 days could easily feel like 365 hours.
Gerhard Holl, however, didn't struggle with time as much as some other immortals might. This being, in part, due to the fact that he had been a human only nine or so decades ago.
He had been raised with time, he had been a high ranking member of The Schutzstaffel, and as such lived a strict schedule.
Of course, things were quite different now, but old habits died hard.
Even still, a week had gone by before Gerhard really noticed that Emory had been out of sight. He became concerned for his small yet powerful bodyguard, and decided to make his way to the bedroom the youthful looking creature had claimed.
The pale man firmly knocked twice before waiting for a response. When none was given, he raised a brow suspiciously and opened the door slowly.

| Out of habit Emory rarely spent too much time around the same people, more often than not those around him had a higher moral standing and grew distant the more they discovered about the Vampire child.
This coven was something new, something different to his norm, the longer he spent here the more comfortable he grew in his surroundings.
Time had slipped away from him, as it often did when he engrossed himself in something, unaware of his surrounding or the days ticking by he had stayed confined in the comfort of his new dwelling.
Even when Gerhard opened the door it failed to register with him.
Once the door swung open the smell of blood became apparent, though looking at his room nothing seemed out of the ordinary, except for the fact that the boy was not in there.
A dull light shone within the bathroom, the door left slightly ajar carelessly.
The only sound came from inside, a muffled whimper, one that was easily drowned out by the sounds of life outside of this room.

| A high moral standing was not exactly one of Gerhard’s strongest qualities.
Oh, he certainly had his own warped moral code that he stood by. His beautiful Sire had broken that code, as had Frau. Acardi.
The chances of Emory breaking that code, however, were considerably slim. That being said, it wasn’t an impossible feat, just unlikely.
The strong odor of oxidized blood didn’t bother Gerhard. He enjoyed anything that reminded him of suffering and violence.
Among the scent, Gerhard could also detect Emory’s presence, along with that of another creature.
Strange.
The German man strode to the bathroom door while barely making a sound, his perfect posture looking official as it always did. He didn’t knock on the door due to it already being ajar.
"Geht es dir gut, Herr Hernz?" He called, his voice calm but deep.
"You've been holed up in here for quite some time."

| The small amount of blood that Emory sampled on occasion was enough to keep him alive, but nowhere near enough to sate his hunger.
His particular tastes were hard to cater for, so he waited, patiently hunting down his ideal prey, and when he finally did find what he had been looking for he gorged himself.
At the sound of Gerard's voice the quiet whimpers turned to muffled pleads and the sound of a gentle struggle.
"Gerhard?" Emory replied, sounding slightly confused, as if he had just woken up from a long sleep, his voice dreamy and unfocused.
The scene within the room looked like one from a horror film, laying in the bathtub was a woman. Her arms chained to the faucet to prevent her from escaping, not that she struggled much, her body was limp, her mind bearly conscious.
Blood was sprayed across the room, the white shower curtains now stained red, excess dripping onto the floor and snaking it's way into the drain.
The woman had large chunks of her flesh missing, holes scattered around her body as if she had been mauled by an animal and feasted upon. Her mouth lulled open, within it fangs protuded from her gums.
These wounds we're slowly knitting themselves back together as they did another chuck would be removed by the greedy mouth of a child.
Emorys own body was stain in blood that was not his own, he sat upon her, slowly chewing as he looked down on her.
He looked up at Gerhard as he swallowed the large mouthful.

| Even those who were hardened would find the scene to be horrifically gruesome.
To not have a reaction to something such as what was displayed in this room would indicate that there was something awfully wrong with the person witnessing it.
This was exactly the case with Gerhard.
He didn't flinch, he didn't grimace, he didn't look like anything at all.
And then a slight smile came to the corners of his lips, as if he was trying to suppress it.
Oh, there was a reason he and Emory got along so well.
"Well well well, isn't this a pretty sight?" He said, looking at the woman.
Gerhard never had any desire to eat the flesh of his own kind. But the idea of cannibalism wasn't repulsive to him. In fact, he had been known to force some of his own victims to cannibalize themselves. Autocannibalism was a fun torture method, after all.

| Emory's eating habits had been developed over hundreds of years. It was so deeply seeded in him now that he would starve himself for months in order to find someone who suited his tastes.
The boy's stomach poked out slightly, a clear sign of his over eating. He was a binge eater when he finally found something he like.
Emory looked up at Gerhard, his face smeared with blood in various stages of freshness. He was docile now, sating his hunger brought out his child-like nature.
He leaned his head against the side of the bathtub looking up at the man through dreamy eyes.
"Of course you of all people aren't shaken by this, still, it surprises me."

| It was almost comical, the things Gerhard found to be truly repulsive.
A woman like his Sire bedding with a lycan was repulsive.
A woman like Giacinto ruling a coven that would encourage such interbreeding was repulsive.
But Emory devouring a live woman was actually a bit admirable for Gerhard. He adored pain and suffering. He loved the sight of gore and torture. It made his blood pump. It made his life worth living.
For a moment, a vision of Alexis as the one that was beneath Emory entered the German Vampire's mind.
But he found he didn't like that thought at all.
He didn't want this fate for Alexis. He wanted to save her, not torture her. She was his Sire, afterall. He knew that the real her was still just beneath the surface, lying dormant, waiting to be resurrected.
Even before Hitler had died in such a pathetic way, his Sire had taken the German ruler's place in Gerhard's corroded pit of a heart.
He had admired Hitler very much.
And Hitler was nothing compared to Alexis. Nothing at all.
In an odd sort of way, Gerhard's evil plan was akin to a child throwing a fit because he wanted his Mommy back.
A very violent, horrible, destructive fit.
Imagining his Sire's twin brother as Emory's meal, on the other hand... now that would be a nice thing to see. The ancient son of a bitch could use a bit of real suffering.
And considering Emory's strength, it wasn't too outlandish to ever see it actually happen.
Oh, how Gerhard loved the idea of destroying the lives of those who had crossed him... or even those who had been associated with the ones who had crossed him... it was a thought sweeter than honey.
"Fühlst du dich gut?" He asked again,no judgement in his voice whatsoever. His question came from Emory looking so dazed and sated.

| Emory made a soft purr like sound as he nuzzled comfortably in his current spot perched on top of the dying Vampire.
Emory have a small nod at the man's question.
"I'm full." He muttered, sounding a little disappointed, he couldn't bring anymore harm to this woman than he already had, he was too full to continue.
Reaching over he turned on the water, running the tap right over the woman's face as he scooped some into his hands to scrub his face.
"Did you worry about me?" He asked, letting his face drip dry as he looked up at the man.

| "Du bist der stärkste Vorteil für unseren Coven. Ohne dich sind wir nichts." Gerhard stated very matter-of-factly.
"I'd like to see you make use of some of our enemies like this." He admitted, still thinking of Aeker.

| Emory sat atop the disemboweled vampire, watching Gerhard intently as the man spoke.
A small smile graced his lips, Gerhard wasn't one to deal out compliments, it was odd to hear the man doing so.
"If any of our enemies are to my liking perhaps I will."
He wasn't going to touch anything that didn't agree with him.
