[O] Warming by the fire

"Aodh has very particular opinions on Hell Hounds."

The same opinions he had not so long ago. Anything from Hell was not to be trusted and should be returned to the fiery pits.

His opinion had changed completely now.

If something from Hell didn't attack, then it was fine. Belial, and now Tuzik, proved that. They were pleasant enough if they didn't attack. Just like anyone else.

Coilean watched the hound as he padded across the room to find a book himself.

His lips quirked up as he caught sight of the colourful book.

Using children's books is a good way to learn the language. He had wished that there had been those sorts of books when he was learning English. They would have helped a lot.

His gaze turned back to his book. He'd finish reading this chapter then they could go hunt down Belial in hopes that he'd play with them.

Tuzik read along to the words slowly, repeating some of them as they tripped him up but he had grown good at spelling them out until they sounded right.

"Lean..."

He muttered, looking up at the with large crimson eyes.

"This one?"

He asked, pointing to a rather large word he hadn't encountered before, he couldn't figure out what it meant from the pictures.

Dinosaur.

Coilean smiled as he listened to the Hound sound out each word he came upon it.

Listening to someone learn a language was interesting. He enjoyed listening to it. He hoped he could do the same while his grandchildren learnt to speak. Sit and listen to them read and learn.

The Irishman looked down when his name was called out.

"Dinosaur. Dine-Oh-Saur."

He leaned over to tap one of the colourful images on the page. "That's a type of dinosaur. They're creatures that used to live on Earth a long time ago."

"Die-no-saw."

The hound repeated, looking down at the creature on the page, now he understood, the large reptile was a dinosaur.

As lean tapped the picture Tuz licked at his fingers affectionately, nuzzling against him with a purr as he continued reading slowly, smiling brightly as he came to the end of his book.

Coilean smiled, tousling Tuzik's hair.

He settled back to finish reading his chapter. It didn't take long for him to do so. Coilean was a quick reader.

He stood with the closed book in his hands and moved to the bookcase he had taken the book from, putting it back in its place. "Come on, Tuzik. Let's go play."

First, though, there was someone he needed to corner into playing with them.

The Lycan led Tuzik up onto the top floor of the mansion. He stopped outside the familiar door and stripped down, folding his clothes neatly. He opened the door and set his folded clothes on top of the pile already next to the door. Zakhar was there.

He dropped to his knees and picked up the tail and collar between his teeth.

Getting back into the puppy mindset had become so much easier than getting into a human mindset now. He could do it in a blink of an eye now. Being a puppy was familiar.

He crawled towards the desk, laying his head on Belial's thigh when he got close enough, whining up at him.

Tuzik padded up the stairs, eagerly following behind Coilean.

When he reached the runic door the hounds eyes narrowed, he couldn't pass through the barrier without being invited in, as such he sat at the doorway, whining gently.

Belial was hard at work, writing strange symbols in a book which would make no sense to untrained eyes.

When he felt the man at his thigh he smiled softly and looked down at him.

"You're home early."

He muttered, taking the collar and securing it around his neck before laving his tongue over the plug on his tail and pushing it into him slowly.

"Such a good boy."
He crooned, stroking his head gently.

Lean stayed still as he was fitted with his collar and tail again.

This felt familiar and comfortable. He gave a soft yap and pulled back away from the Fallen.

He returned a few moments later with a ball in his mouth.

The Lycan stared up at Belial pleasingly, giving a soft whine.

He wanted to play. He wanted Belial to play with him and Tuzik and have fun. He spent far too much time with those books. Belial needed a break. He needed to come have fun with him and Tuzik.

"Looks like we're going out to play, Zakhar. You're welcome to join us if you want."

He muttered, glancing over to the Lycan who was sprawled out on his bed reading.

Belial pushed himself up off of his seat and stroked Coilean's hair.

"Come on then, lets go play."

"No, thanks, Belial. I'm content here." Zakhar was just getting into his book. He didn't want to leave just yet.

Coilean yapped excitedly, jumping around like an excited child as he waited for Belial to get to the door.

He wormed his way through Belial's legs to get to Tuzik, pouncing on him with an excited yap.

He could play with Tuzik and his Master!

The pup was beyond happy.

"Alright then, I'll see you later."
He muttered, leaning over the bed and giving the man a kiss before padding to the door.

Belial halted as he reached the edge of his barrier, his eyes narrowing at the hell hound slightly.

"What are you doing hanging around with a hell hound?"

The man muttered, watching the two of them warily, at which point Tuzik gave a soft whine.

Coilean looked up from his place sprawled over Tuzik's back and gave a soft whine similar to the Hell Hound's.

He nuzzled against Tuzik, looking up at Belial with wide silver eyes.

Was Belial unhappy with his new friend?

He didn't want him to be unhappy with him. He liked Tuzik. He didn't want Belial to not like him.

"At ego quidem, si caedes vobis nocebit."

The Fallen muttered in a warning as he moved beyond his barrier, the hound's aura wasn't one of hostility but he didn't want to take chances when it came to Coilean's well being.

Tuzik gave a soft whimper, curling in against the Lycan and licking at his neck softly, showing that he was submissive to the man, even if he was playing pet.

"Ipse est amicus meus, non nocébit ei."
The hound replied as the Fallen led the way down the hall.

Belial wouldn't forbid them from seeing each other, he would just be wary.

He is my friend, I wouldn't hurt him.

Coilean looked between the two of them, brows drawing together.

He understood them. Coilean was fluent in Latin. He used it often enough when he exorcised Demons.

Why would Tuzik hurt him?

He whimpered softly as he crawled towards Belial, nuzzling against his leg, lapping at his thigh.

He was safe. Tuzik was nice.

Belial's hand stroked over the man's back as he nuzzled against him, leading him down toward the garden.

His gaze turned down to the Lycan, he had the worst taste in companions.

"His Master tried to kill Zakhar."

The Fallen explained as they descended the stairs and went out into the garden.

Coielan's eyes flickered up to Tuzik.

But..that wasn't Tuzik. Was Belial blaming the Hell Hound for something his Master did?

That was stupid.

Coilean yanked at Belial's trousers firmly, pulling backwards as a playful growl rumbled in his chest.

His backside swayed form side to side, causing his tail to swish like it was wagging.

Belial wouldn't tell the man that Tuzik had attacked him, after all, a dog is going to protect it's Master on instinct, it was to be expected.

A smile spread across the Fallen's lips as Coilean acted so playfully, life as a pup was good for the man, he wasn't so hateful, he could be calm and relax, enjoy the little things in life so much more this way.

"Give me the ball."

he muttered, holding his hand out.

With a twinkle in his eyes, he shook his head and bounced backwards.

He still had the ball in his mouth and he wasn't giving it up to anyone. Belial would have to take it form him.

Coilean gave a playful growl as he skittered backwards, using Tuzik as a shield.

He gave a playful yap, looking over Tuz's back at his Master.

Tuzik jumped into the fray as Coilean tried to hide behind him, instead he balled the man over, trying to pull the ball from his mouth with his own teeth, grasping onto half of it and giving a soft growl as he tugged on it.

Belial watched the two of them with a soft hum, he didn't particularly want to get between them, and Tuzik seemed to be behaving himself at the moment.

Coilean's playful growling got louder as he tossed his head from side to side to try and dislodge the Hell Hound currently attached to it.

He crawled backwards, tugging at the ball hard.

They hadn't even gotten to the stairs and they were already having fun.

he was determined to come out the victor.

Tuzik refused to lose and tugged back on the ball sharply as his playful growls grew louder.

The hound rolled onto his back, cheating as he used his body weight to stop Coilean from yanking them around and tugging on the ball.

Coilean let go of the ball with a soft whimper.

He sat down heavily on the Hound's stomach, leaning over to try and steal the ball again as he shifted over and over.

He'd make the Hound as uncomfortable as possible until he got his ball back.

His playful growing started up again.

My ball.

Tuzik gave a victorious grin as Coilean gave up possession of the ball.

He grunted softly as his stomach was sat upon and writhed beneath the man as he shifted on top of him, adding unwanted pressure onto his body.

Tuzik gave up the ball a short moment before swiping his tongue across the man's face.

Coilean grinned when his cheek was licked.

He picked up his ball, prancing around with the ball in his mouth triumphantly before padding back to Belial.

He ducked, ass in the air as he shook it, growling playfully.

He wanted Belial to play, too.

Lean yapped as he stared up at the Fallen.

Belial shook his head and chuckled as he watched the two of them, it seemed as long as the hound stayed calm, he was quite pleasant, the real issue was not provoking Lyo which would cause Tuzik to get violent.

"You think you can keep that ball away from me?"

The Fallen asked, raising an eyebrow as he looked down at his pet, within seconds he was on top of the Lycan, grasping onto the ball and wrestling him for it.

Coilean's playful growls got louder and louder with each moment as his backside continued to sway.

He yelped when Belial jumped at him,scrambling backwards.

The Irishman writhed under Belial, still gripping tightly to the ball as he attempted to escape.

This was fun.

His silver eyes turned up to Tuz as he growled and laughed, begging the Hound to help him win back the ball.
