| Alexander Walked in back through the dark gates of the mansion, the scent of many new people and a few old. more and more lycans had appeared here now but he held no grudge nor hate for them anymore, he was at peace.
As he walked down the path towards the door there was something perculiar about his face, he was smiling.
in his abscence Alexander had travelled the world and met people and vampires. some as young as 19 while others almost as old as gia herself. he had learnt much and even met a demon or two, without it leading to bloodshed. (well much anyway).
He arrived at the cold heavy doors and Knocked loudly and clearly for the whole mansion to hear.
he was back and this time he hoped it would be better than last.
he hoped to see moe and zeke and their pups. Alexis and ...who ever she was now with and to see gia and try to... be nice.

| It just so happened in this moment of time, Jenevieve was making her way through this particular hall.
As per usual, her clothes her elaborate and Victorian. Now that the winter season was here, she wore long sleeves and her skirts usually fell down to her ankles.
The vampire had been a recluse lately. Taylor, the woman she was supposed to train with, was gone. And Moe, the woman who actually had trained with her, was too busy being a new mother. Jenevieve wasn't a very understanding person, but even she couldn't blame Moe for being too busy. Twin lycan puppies. That was enough to keep anyone heavily occupied.
What really bothered Jenevieve was that B, the man that she thought of so often, was no where to be found. And it bothered her even more that this bothered her.
She made her way towards the kitchen to prepare herself a nice bloody meal. That was when she saw Alexander. She raised a brow. She vaguely recognized this man. She had never gotten to know him, but he had been here even longer then she had.
Jenevieve turned her nose up, a pompous expression on her face.
"Well look what the cat dragged in." She insulted as she looked at him. "What sort of self respecting man wears his hair that way? Are you so much of a barbarian that you can't be bothered to get a proper haircut?" And just like that Jenevieve slipped back into what she did best. Condescending others for hardly a reason at all.

| There was an air of confidence coming from the man that wasnt there the last time they had met. he took a step forward and smiled as he saw jenevieve and already knew what was going to happen.
as she spoke he laughed and tied his hair back with a small ribbon. "and such a fine upstanding lady like yourself should not speak with such a forked tongue" he merrily retorted.
he removed his travelling cloak and folded it over his arm, taking a deep breath and looking at the women. "how are you?"

| Jenevieve raised her brow curiously. That was not the type of response she was expecting. It caught her somewhat off guard but she didn't want to let Alexander know it.
So he was confident was he? That was noble enough. Perhaps he would be worth some sort of conversation... perhaps.
"Fine thank you." She said, and out of her pestering need to be proper she added "And you?"

| Alexander smirked slightly as she raised her eyebrow, he had surprised her, good. He looked around the hall and then back to Jeneieve as she answered.
"I am extremely well thankyou. have you been very busy?" he asked casually, almost going through the eiticate and motions of such a simple encounter with a...sophisticated women, something he had almost forgotten about.
he folded away his coat into his pocket, a seemingly impoosible task but still it fit in without any buldge.
"your very formal are you not?"

| Jenevieve wasn't sure what to make of the man. He had gotten her off her guard and she wasn't sure to be impressed or angry about it.
Without realizing it she pursed her lips, her eyes squinting as she stared at him, sizing him up.
"No." She said honestly in response to his question. "I'm afraid I've been anything but busy. As of late it's the simple things that I've passed my time with." She explained. Simple for a vampire however was not the same definition most people held to, and Alexander could understand that well.
"What you feel is formal, I feel is how everyone should behave all the time." She said with a pompous tone, something she had perfected.

| Alexander simply nodded at her statements, ignoring the eyeing that he was recieving. "ah the simple things, it really is what makes time fly" he said with a small smirk. this women was from a first glance a very stuborn vampire and also one who looked like she could handle a challenge.
the fact that she believed that everyone should act formal as a default just confirmed it. "being formal has its advantages but... it doesnt allow you to get a real read on a person. it restricts what you can and cannot say. like a safety blanket for social interaction." he explained. ok yes there were alot more advantages to this but at the moment he wanted to test her slightly. guageing her responce.

| If there was one thing that did impress Jeneveive with this man, it was his ability to remain calm and collected. He still seemed to be testing her, analyzing her to get a reaction out. She could sense it, but she actually didn't mind that at all. It was engaging and she hadn't had much social interaction as of late.
"A safety blanket? I like to think of it more as a cloak." She pronounced the word cloak with a click in the back of her throat. Her eyes flickered with amusement.
"Someone may be a vile, corrupted, stain on the face of humanity, but even they should try to behave when presented with others. It is when we remove that cloak and let other's see our true identity that real intimacy is formed." She purred, and her mind flickered back to when she and Smiley had laid together. She had showed a side to him that not many would ever see, a vulnerable side. And the more she thought about it, the more comfortable she was with it.
It was special, what happened between them.

| a very well formed responce it was indeed and even got him thinking for a moment. he paused and thought about her analogy of the cloak and not a blanket and nodded his agreement. "i can see your point and i respect it, just be wary of one who uses formalities as the norm, there is enough hidden in a person speech that way to keep things... distant." he knew this better than anyone at the moment, it was HIS way of being safe, of not being hurt.
intimacy, a word he had kept hearing throughout his travels but had given up on a long time ago. "one can have many 'True' identities, it is only when we admit to ourself which one we want to be is it real intimacy."
he noticed her lax in concentration and smiled "seems like you have found that intimacy already, i envy you, i really do" he said with a smile.

| Jenevieve was taken aback by what he said. She blinked once and stared at him as if she didn't believe her ears. What a sly man this was, gentlemanly and sly. The young vampire couldn't complain.
"I once had it, yes, long ago." She told him, trying to keep her tone aloof. It was hard though, to not let the quivering and sad girl emerge whenever she was reminded of the man she truly had loved. Now that was something to be envious about. She was jealous of herself really. She had it for just a brief moment in time and in the blink of an eye it was gone.
"They say it's better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all. I say they're fools." She said, the tone stubborn in her voice. If she had known how it all would have ended, she would have never wanted to lay eyes on the man. If she could take all of it back and spare the suffering, she would in a heartbeat.
But that was quiet enough of that. She had all ready shared much more with this stranger then she had ever intended to.

| Once? this was most interesting but he chose not to pry, not yet anyway.
he almost laughed at her next statement and the corny old saying. "it maybe true for some but for ones with heightened emotions and senses it just makes the pain more unbareable." he knew this all to well, but hid it extremely well, brushing it off as if a distant memory.
"fools? no just not very empathic. ignorance can be a bliss but also a curse." he commented, his eyes tracing her body and features. she looked alot stronger than she had appeared at first glance.
"tell me, do you know many of the coven around here? im looking for a few of them" a small lie, he knew exactly where to find people but wanted to see if this women would be helpful.

| Jenevieve smiled and her red eyes flickered.
"A blissful curse perhaps?" She said, looking a little mischievous. She was actually enjoying conversation with someone and that didn't happen much.
"And I know a few people here, yes. Who are you looking for?" She asked. She was fairly anti-social but she had those she had spoken two once or twice. There was the man with long golden hair, Gabriel. And then she also knew Giacinto somewhat. Miss Moe and her had gotten along some and then there was the other vampire woman named Alexis who's company Jenevieve had also enjoyed.

| Alexander chuckled lightly at her comment "yes i guess it would be" he smiled at her and then glanced at her neck before going back to her eyes.
"Im looking for a women who goes by the name of Alexis, i have a special gift for her and her other half" his lip twinged and added "that is if they are still together" he didnt know if his feelings for alexis were still a secret from the rest of the coven but either way he would not openly publises it.

| Jenevieve was a loner, not one to twiddle in the affairs of other, nor to take part in fluttering gossip. Any feelings that Alexander may have had for Alexis were unknown to Jenevieve.
In fact, she hadn't even known that Alexis had a significant other. Good for her, if it was meant to last.
It probably wasn't though.
"Yes, I know of Alexis. She still resides in the Aria wing, same room as she always has." She said, clasping her hands together in front of her skirt.

| Alexander smiled graciously and nodded "thankyou" he was about to turn away but before he did a thought jumped into his head and he turned back to her.
"learn to relax a bit better Jenevieve" reaching for her tied back hair and gently pulling the ribbon loose.
"there much better" he smiled and turned to walk away.

| Before Jenevieve could protest the ribbon holding her hair back was removed, causing her long white locks to cascade down her shoulders.
Her eyes widened a little, cheeks flushing red. That was a bold move on his part to just help himself.
She couldn't remember the last time she showed herself in public with her hair let down.
It just didn't seem proper.
But again, before she could say anything, he had all ready turned and was walking away.

| Alexander Smiled to himself as he sensed the blood flow to her cheeks and casually walked away, his hand untying his hair and running through it.
this had been an enjoyable experience and he hoped to see her more often. "see you soon" he called back as he made his way up the steps to where Alexis was roomed.
