Moe sat curled up in a small meadow, the strong midday sunlight baring down on her pale skin.

She wore a loose white dress and had her hair down, brushing the ground as she bent over a book resting on her knees.

One hand caressed her large clothed stomach gently as the other followed the words she was reading, brows furrowing a little as she mouthed along with the words.

Once again, she was curled up with an Elvish children's story book, attempting to remember the language as she read.

Belial strolled along in the forest, his hands placed lazily in his pockets.

His demonic aura was turned off as per usual, the man liked to blend in, trying not to draw too much negative attention to himself.
The man was old and wise enough to know that if you strut around like a peacock you end up attracting the wrong type of attention.

As he walked his eyes caught a flash of bright orange and out of curiosity he made his way towards it, the small smirk on his lips widening slightly when he spotted the pregnant woman sitting alone.

Moe didn't notice the man behind her. She was too caught up in the fairy tales written in her book.

Six months ago, the woman would have noticed him easily. But since she had been at the coven, her skills had been dulling slowly. She hadn't been fighting or taking missions. She hadn't had the need to.

When the pups grew up a little and she had time to do her own things again, she would probably throw herself into training and make sure she was never caught off guard. Especially not if she ever got pregnant again. She couldn't risk any harm coming to her children.

As he got closer he took in her scent, a hybrid, something he took a bit of interest in, half breeds were not overly common.

"An interesting book?"

He asked as he walked into the meadow, his body was relaxed and his tone was casual and inviting, unless you knew better you would not have suspected him of being what he was.

Belial brushed his hair from his face and smiled warmly at the woman, his flawless charming facade in full effect.

Moe jumped and squeaked loudly when Belial spoke, turning around to look at him with wide green eyes.

Her hands were clutching her stomach protectively on instinct.

She hadn't noticed anyone around. She hadn't expected anyone to appear or talk to her.

The woman's eyes flitted to the ground and pink bled into her cheeks. "Y-yes," she murmured softly.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you, seems I was being a little light footed when I approached."

He replied with a soft laugh, hearing the woman squeak was quite entertaining, more so when her hands automatically moved to her stomach, a mothers intuition.

"I do hope I am not bothering you."

He added as his deep purple eyes met with her bright green ones.

"I-It's fine, really."

It had been her fault for not sensing him, not his for being too light footed. She was an Elf. She had made a connection with this forest. She should have noticed him through the trees as soon as he ventured too close to her.

She shook her head, tucking a strand of hair behind an ear.

"Not at all." She loved other peoples company and with most of the pack missing and Giacinto busy doing things, she had very few people to talk to.

Her hands slid from her stomach slowly to pick up the book that had fallen flat when she had jumped.

The Demon lay out of the grass, crossing his arms behind his head as he smiled softly.

"Are you due soon?"
He asked as his eyes fell onto her stomach, judging by the size and shape of her belly she was quite far along in her pregnancy.

Belial had always liked children, they were symbols of innocents and his kind liked nothing more than corrupting such innocence, children were so easily influenced.

That was probably the reason that so many people had sacrificed children when attempting to summon him.

She smiled softly, eyes turning down to her stomach.

The woman stroked it gently, feeling the heat of her skin through the think material of her dress.

"November." A month. Only a month and she'd be holding her pups in her arms. The woman was excited. Children had been something she had dreamed about but never thought a possibility.

"Very soon, you must be getting excited by now."

He replied, his eyes landing on the wedding band on her finger, he had to hold back a shudder, marriage, how horrible.

"I bet the father is anxious."

He added with a soft smile, Belial himself had fathered countless of children, not that he held any fondness for them, if he had he would be back in hell with his spawn.

Moe nodded, eyes bright as the turned up to settle on the man. "Yes, very much so." She was extremely excited.

At the mention of Zeke she had to laugh.

When he was around, he was hovering. Making sure she was okay, wanting to know if there was anything he could do. It was annoying at times but a lot of the time she had found it funny.

He was far from the constantly angry man that had growled at her and made her feel less than an inch high on their first meeting.

"He's just as excited as I am."

"A wife as pretty as you and children on the way, I envy him."

He replied with a warm smile, as per usual Belial was lying but with all the hostilities of late he was quite content just talking to this woman and speaking the truth would probably earn him a slap across the face, if he were lucky.

"Do you have any idea what you are having? Boy, girl, or is it going to be a surprise and more importantly, have you picked out names yet?"

He asked, propping himself up on his elbows.

The woman blushed darkly and her eyes fell to the grass.

Compliments again. Why did everyone think she was pretty or beautiful except herself? It annoyed her so much that she couldn't see it in herself when everyone else seemed to have no trouble doing so.

"We're not sure how many or what gender." She didn't want to know. She wanted it to be a complete surprise on the day.

"We've decided on a few names." She hoped she only had twins - triplets at the most. And so far they only had two names. Cinaed and Luca. Two boys or a boy and a girl. If they had two girls, they'd have to pick another name.
