| "I missed you too."
He had run. The seriousness if the relationship had caught up with him and instead of embracing it he had flinched away.
Before this, he hadn't had many serious relationships. Jean-Claude wasn't the sort of person that stuck in a relationship for long. He was good for one night stands with girls that had really liked his stripping routines. Long term relationships like this were new and scary.
He nuzzled closer to the older man. "I'm sorry."

| He... didn't know what to say. It wasn't that he didn't forgive Jean; he did. But just saying "That's ok" wouldn't be able to show how much Jean had hurt him by shying away like he had.
Gabriel was insecure. After Aloyssius died, he had had nobody. He had almost gone mad from the lack of contact with people, and had refused company with humans since he had seen them as the ones who had killed his lover. Jean was the first person that he had been close to since Aloyssius died... in almost a century.
And Jean had hurt him.
But if he stayed silent, he risked Jean slipping away from him again.
His lips pressed to Jean's again with the same rough desperation as earlier. He needed solid proof that Jean still loved him. Words hurt and weren't enough any more.

| Jean-Claude returned the desperate kiss once again with equal vigour.
His hands slipped up into the older man's hair again.
He missed this closeness and he was more than willing to give it to Gabe if he wanted it. He'd be as close as the man wanted him to be.
He pressed forwards against the vampire.

| His arms wound around his lover's shoulders, a noise half-way between a needy whine and a sob muffled at the back of his throat.
He clung onto his lover tightly as they kissed, as though he were worried that if he let go, Jean would slip away from him again. Breaking the kiss, he coaxed Jean back down to his neck again, gently pulling his lover on top of him. Jean hadn't taken too much blood for him to handle and he needed that closeness of sire and fledgling now.
He needed to feel the bond between them again.

| Jean-Claude didn't fight against the man pulling him on top of him. He moved willingly and obediently, pressing himself down against Gabe so he could feel every inch of him against his own body.
His tongue lapped over the wound, cleaning the skin of blood.
He didn't bite down, though. Gabrielle had had enough blood taken from him in the shower. Right now he didn't want to take blood. He just wanted to be close to his Sire.
A soft, lingering kiss was pressed to the wound gently.

| He let out a blissful sigh, arching up against Jean's body with a faint moan. His hand wound into the man's hair, head lolling back against the pillows.
He had almost forgotten how perfect it felt to be this close to his fledgling, and he felt a pang of sweet pain from the feeling of becoming close again. It was like the pain of having a wound treated. Knowing that it would make things better, but yet, the pain from the old wound still hurting.
One leg curled around one of Jean's, pulling him closer.

| His lips continued to feather against his lover's neck.
His fingers thread through his hair gently, weaving through the water-darkened locks, combing out little tangles and caressing the wet hair between his fingers.
He missed this. He missed this so much it was painful.
Jean-Claude nipped a path of skin, sucking it into his mouth and biting down.

| He moaned as Jean bit down on his neck, hips rolling upwards gently. His fingertips brushed over every curve and flickering muscle of his lover's chest, remembering all the moments that they had held each other in their arms, every time he had felt Jean's skin against his.
His eyes slid closed in painful bliss, short sighs and puffs of breath escaping him as his hips moved against Jean's, holding him tightly, almost crushing him against his chest.

| Jean-Claude purred softly as he pulled back, tongue lapping over the dark mark.
His lips quirked upwards when his bright eyes flickered over the new mark on his lover's skin. It had been too long since he had left a mark like that on Gabriel's skin. He liked the look of the new mark on the fresh canvas of his lover's unmarked skin.
His lips sought out Gabe's, kissing him deeply.

| His head tilted back with a quiet whine of contentment as his lover's tongue brushed over his skin.
For the first time, he felt vulnerable. He had never felt vulnerable during sex before, but perhaps because sex had lead to love and love had lead to hurt, now sex was making him feel vulnerable.
Even though he loved being close to Jean like this, physically, this time, he needed Jean to take control for once. Taking control meant becoming vulnerable. And he needed to see that Jean wanted him. To see that he wasn't just passively letting him do whatever he wanted.
He kissed him back, the kiss confused with passion, desperation and tenderness, his breaths starting to become ragged in his chest.

| Jean-Claude ground his hips down against Gabe's slowly.
He continued to kiss him deeply, his hands tugging at the older vampire's hair, pulling him closer as his touches slowly got more desperate.
He had abstained from this for too long and now, in the face of it, he wanted nothing more than to be fucked. He wanted sex. He wanted hot sex that would leave him panting and sated.

| A soft moan slipped from between his lips, hips jerking upwards. His head fell backwards pliantly as Jean tugged his hair, kissing his lover back fervently.
Gabriel could tell what Jean wanted, but this time, he needed Jean to take control. He needed to see how much his lover wanted him.
"Jean... make love to me."
Never. Never in his life would he have thought he would ever use the phrase "make love". It was too sappy, and he would rather say anything than that phrase normally.
But it was the best way to describe what he wanted now. He wanted Jean to bare his feelings to him, to possess him and cherish him. To show him that it had meant nothing when he had ignored him before.

| Jean-Claude gave a low murmur when Gabe pleaded with him.
How could he deny him when he asked like that?
The fledgeling's fingers slid around his back and began circling his own with a soft moan. He could be the submissive during sex and still be in control of what was happening.
He pushed a finger into himself with a load moan.

| "Not like that."
The blond reached up to hold Jean's free wrist gently, guiding his lover's hand down to his own entrance.
"Please...I want you inside me this time."
He wanted Jean to completely possess him this time. To feel every last inch of his lover and to be able to feel as though he could entrust himself to Jean again.
Sitting up, his lips brushed along his lover's collarbone gently, imploringly.
"Je t'aime." | |

| Jean-Claude shook his head slowly.
He didn't want to. Jean-Claude felt much more at ease as a sub. Being them more submissive man in a male-male relationship was in his comfort zone. He didn't want to be pushed out of his comfort zone at the moment.
The German had just worked up the courage to try and make the relationship work again; the suggestion of him doing something he wasn't comfortable with right now was scary. He didn't want it to happen.
So he ignored it. His hand stroked over Gabe's thigh slowly as he continued to finger himself.

| He sighed quietly, but continued to kiss along Jean's collar and jaw, taking an earlobe into his mouth gently.
His hand slipped down the man's body to pump him slowly, carefully watching the expressions flickering over his lover's face. He leaned in to nip Jean's lower lip gently, tongue darting along the soft skin.
A soft whimper escaped him as Jean's hand stroked over his thigh, hips bucking upwards. He needed to feel more of his lover's touch. Jean seemed so far away up there, and though they were bridging the distance, he needed to feel Jean's hands on him, to feel his lips against his skin.
"Jean... please..."
He wasn't begging to be dominated any more. Only to be touched.
