A new start

Hunterraie walked up to the entrance of her new home. By the way she had dressed, you could tell that it meant something to her to dress up and make a good appearance. Biting her piercing, you could see she was slightly nervous. Ever since Matt abandoned her, she hadn’t been quite as confident. As her slit pupils grew wider with the lack of light, she let out a soft sigh and opened the entrance door.

“Wow.. It’s actually really nice here..” Hunter said to herself quietly, looking around and rubbing the swirls of black tattoos on her arm. She wasn’t even two feet in the doorway and felt like she was at home. Just the way she had dreaded.

As the feeling of mortality tried to raise up into her heart, she swallowed it down and took a scowl to her face. She hated the feeling of missing her old life. This was something new. And dang it.. She was going to make it only new and improved.

Aeker walked down the halls, his boots clicked against the flooring as he did so, the sound was rhythmic and echoed through the empty space.

His bright silver hair licked at his calves as he moved, as usual he was clad completely in black, his tailored coat covered him but still showed off his slender build.

He was on his way to the library but paused for a moment as he sensed the presence of another, slowly changing his route to head to the vestibule.

The vampire's bright scarlet eyes fell on the woman, he hadn't see her around before.

"Good evening."
He muttered softly.

Hunter’s eyes flickered to the new face, studying the features of the man. Almost as if she wasn’t sure if she was seeing him correctly.

“Good evening, sir..” She replied carefully, her voice touched lightly with a sense of happiness, “Going to be a fine night.. Isn’t it?”

A soft, causal smile faltered the once hard, cruel look on her face. It wasn’t welcoming, but it was just friendly enough for one to believe she could be kind if she please.
