The return of the LaCorvus children

A black limo rolled to a stop in front of the mansion. Sable, a seemingly young man with long black hair and a classic decor, stepped out of the back and made way to help his dearest sister out. Regardless of her wanting help he took her hand anyway and hoisted her up. Lilim scowled slightly at him and began to walk down the vestibule. Sable leaned back in through the back seat to thank the driver once more.

It had been months since the LaCorvus children had been at the Mansion. They missed large events, social life and mostly they missed the friends they made at the mansion. However, all of it was worth missing if his sister got to keep her sanity. See, Sable had forced a vacation on her. She needed to clear her head and stay away from Alex and, well, demons. Not only physical demons but demons of her own. Lilim was sane at the moment but he sanity faded whenever there was a chance to study something that couldn't be explained. Sable admired his sister passion to know and learn everything but shunned and scorned her for risking everything just to find a bit of information.

Sable called out to his sister to wait for him to catch up. Lilim looked over he shoulder, "I will not. I have to find some one."

"First day we get back and you're already chasing after Drago?" Sable felt his happiness from their vacation melt away. Drago.. he was the reason they had to leave to rest in the first place and his sister was so stuck on him.

Lilim decided not to answer him back, she continued her walk as silent as the air around them.

Moe walked at a fast pace towards the mansion, straightening out her dress and picking debris out of her bright orange hair.

She had wanted to go for a run but didn't feel like running in the forest behind her cottage. So she had ventured a little further out than usual, heading towards Catania.

The Hybrid had been too busy picking at her hair to watch where she was going, ending up barrelling right into Sable.

She took two large steps back then bowed deeply. "I'm so sorry!"

Sable thought fro a moment he felt a bump on his back. The voice behind him apologizing confirmed his assumption. His hair made a nice cushion when things bounced off the back of him. He turned to look at a girl bowing in apology. He shook his head not accepting the fact of anyone bowing to him, rather it be in apology or not. "Stand up please, you're fine" he said with a slight smile. Sable glanced over his shoulder, he saw his sister still walking. He internally sighed and gave up, she wasn't going to listen to him and he wasn't going to waste his time trying. He faced back to the front "Just be more careful."

She rose from her bow as ordered, but still stared at the ground, her hands clasped together in front of her.

"I truly am sorry, I should have looked where I was going." The reason she hadn't been looking where she was going was obvious. Leaves and twigs clung to her waist length ginger hair and the trail of leaves and twigs behind her proved that she had been picking them out as she walked.

Her green eyes flickered up to the man's face and she gave a small smile.

She felt tiny in comparison to him. She was a meagre 4'11 - minuscule compared to his great size.

"I-I'm Leon Moe. Its a pleasure to meet you." She gave another polite bow before straightening up again.

Sable took note of the nature debris cling to her and her hair, he kept himself from tossing out an amused snort. He watched as she bowed again, discouraged in her action but he smiled non the less. "Sable LaCorvus." He nodded to her "Pleasure to meet you as well."

"Are you new here?" she asked, green eyes bright with curiosity.

She hadn't seen him or the woman here before.

She couldn't really assume they were new - she hadn't met a lot of people here in the mansion - but she could ask all the same.

And, either way, she was meeting new people and hopefully making new friends. Her friendship circle was very limited and she always loved making new friends to join that circle.

"You could say that," Sable pulled a hand up to this face and warped his fingers around the bottom of his chin, he was reflecting on their absence, all the new people that have probably shown up. "We left for a while, a long while, some things went down with me and my sister." HE smiled "Nothing to fret about anymore though."

So they weren't new. But they felt it because they had been gone so long...?

She hoped she had gotten that right.

The Hybrid smiled brightly. "Then welcome back to the coven. I hope you can enjoy your time here and make lots of new friends."

Friends were important. Life wasn't worth living to the Hybrid if she didn't have friends to share her experiences with.

Alexander was meditating in an old part of the mansion where he had curently taken a liking too, away from people and distractions. a quiet solitary place where he could study and reflect. the area dark enough to protect from direct sunlight but lite up by dim red light enough so he could read comfortably, books and symbols scrawled across the wooden flooring.

at this very moment he was in deep meditation before a long forgotten scent hit his nostrils....
"they are back.... " several books whispered to him in a kind of echoed effect.

he broke his meditation and quickly shut all the books.

they had returned, and this was unexpected.

Sable smiled once more "I just hope I get to keep the ones I've already made. We've only been gone for months and everyone around here has been gone for years. We couldn't have even forgotten too soon right?"

"No, of course not."

She smiled brightly and looked over the man subtly.

He wasn't the type of person you easily forgot. He was tall - much taller, even, than her Grandfather - and he had a gentle presence about him.

He had been nothing but nice even after she had so rudely bumped into him.

She didn't think anyone could forget him if he tried.

Lilim stopped in the split of the vestibule. One wing to Aria the other to Terra. It had been so long she had nearly forgotten which house she belonged to, let alone anyone else. She was stalling for time as well, pretending to be deep in though, she was deep in though but now about what she wanted others to believe. No she was nervous about her meeting up with the man she used to and still loved. But.. what if he had changed? What if he no longer loved her? That was what worried her.

Alexander stretched and yawned and realised how hungry he felt. it had been a good 12 hours since he had eaten so decided it was best to go to the kitchen before greeting the Lacorvus children.

He got up and out of his little 'sanctum' after stacking the books and opening the door. while climbing the long winding staircase his thoughts drifted to the female of the two children and the reasons she left (that he believed) and felt a slight sorrow, it might be best to avoid her just for now...

he made his way up to the middle floor and stepped through his newly made 'door' (thank god gia hadnt notice his DIY) and continued to the kitchen taking a scenic route to avoid most people.

Lilim sighed and finally gathered up her courage. She decided to take the Terra wing. She didn't belong to Terra but she was determined to find Alex. She missed them and she was much to old to be fighting her feelings.

Sable smiled at Moe once again. "Thank you" HE spoke to her grateful for her bubbly reassuring attitude. Looking down the hall Sable noticed his sister wasn't there and all he could do was pray she took the Aria wing and went to her own room.
