The Lycan jumped a little when the woman yelled.

He wrapped an around around her, the other resting on the woman's black curls, fingers threading through her hair, stroking her head gently.

"What're you trying to do, Ly?" he murmured to her.

Lyssum shook her head of black curls into his chest and mumbled her problem out to him, not something she would normally do willingly. She would normally be able to do something almost as soon as she tried, but her mind was somewhere else today, she was distracted and she did not understand why.

"Wy ish twwying do twamsfowm widthim amothurs bowdy... bud ibt nowt wourkin!" She somewhat wined. She did not know if he understood what she had said but she explained none of the less.

He pursed his lips.

He understood her just fine. He'd had plenty of practise looking after sulking children to be fluent in the sulky murmurs they gave.

Transforming into a different body was difficult after the first time. The first was purely instinct; it happened without you thinking about it. But the second was far more difficult. You needed some sort of understanding of the symbiosis the two different bodies had.

The two lived off each other, but they were different entities.

"You're focussing on transforming," he murmured after a long pause. "Like you have done for as long as you've known you can transform. Transforming feels familiar because you've done it for so long."

"But you need to go back to the basics. You know what your transformation is, but this body isn't yours." He ran his fingers through her hair gently. "Instead of focussing on your transformation, focus on hers."

He had assumed that if she was trying to transform in a different body, she'd have picked someone with the same transformation as her. When she transformed, she pictured her transformation. Everyone did. But this body's transformation - though the same - had difference. Little differences that made the animal unique; different coloured fur or feathers, longer claws, a different shaped beak, different size.

Those minute differences where what would determine whether or not she'd be able to transform.

Her head lifted up slowly, black curls shifting until she met Alek's silver eyes. She unknowingly started to stare into the silver pools as she went through and thought about what he had just suggested. She continued to stare as she tried to remember back to the days before when she had seen the other woman in her transformation.

She smiled at the Lycan and nodded before stepping away slowly traveling back towards the middle of the room.

"Lyssum understands." As she got back into place she let her eyes fall shut as she started to concentrate once again, but this time on what she saw of the other woman's form.

She could see it. The exact moment the woman came into view, but she did not stop just yet, instead she waited to a few seconds until she saw the crystal clear view of the whole scene. She started to rewind the scene and started to combind and add different scenes into and around the 2D image of the wolf, creating a 3D view of the whole scene from hundreds of different images, cut and pasted into one.

'Walking' around the now 3D paused scene, she took in all the different angles of the wolf, trying to spot the difference between her and the woman's, zooming in and around to make sure she did not miss anything.

Colour difference on chest. Spec of orange in yellow eyes. Clipped left claw. Cut on right hip. Pinpoint spot of white on side of nose. Slant of nose, 0.12 degree off.

The list went on until she felt that she had them all.

On the outside, she did not realise that as she created the 3D model of the wolf, she had somewhat transformed, each new difference being added on as she found them. This took a few minutes as each difference was spotted and 'pulled' out in front of her to inspect.

Haha~ The best way to describe the 3d making thing is like a cross between sherlock's deductions and that scene from dr who.... meh.

Alek watched her silently as she stared blankly at him.

He knew she was thinking so he stayed silent. Nothing pissed him off more than someone interrupting him when he was thinking. So he tried not to interrupt others when they were thinking.

The Lycan returned her smile softly and watched her silently as she stepped away from him.

It took him a while to notice the minute changes but when he did notice them he smiled. His advice had worked.

It had worked. His words of encouragement and advice had been of great use and had worked. She knew the differences now between both the woman’s transformation and her own, she knew it was possible to transform into the beautiful creature she had seen briefly that afternoon she found the woman.

The creature had caught her eye, and though it was not the main reason on why she had picked the particular woman, it did count as part of the reason as she could have always waited for another to come along, transformation similar to her own.

Shaking her head of those thoughts she now focused on the next step, the main step... the complete transformation. Now knowing all of the little differences this stage was a piece of cake. As soon as she willed herself to change, to transform, her body complied and obeyed her command almost instantly, slowly shifting itself, distorting and shrinking until the final results were shown.

The transformation into a small beautiful black wolf was complete.
